Im order from Turkey clothes for my baby boy 2 sets of costumes, I received an email with a link saying I need to pay the fee and provide all my passport information, take a photo of my passport and ID card, and then I can pay the fee. These two sets of suits cost €63, but the tax was calculated at €50, and all my information was included. When I ordered, there was no mention anywhere of such a cost.

I have always shoped in Next, I like the convienience of shopping online, I like the products, the prices but I do not like their Delivery Agents, Evri. Every delivery is delayed, we waited in Wed, Thurs and today and no delivery. Three days, with one of us having to stay in, sat by the window because they ring the bell and instantly walk away. There are no local drop locations, despite living in a busy town. What good is a great team when one player always punts the ball off the pitch
Dishonest and Incompetent
Next Direct entered wrong address on my package so that it couldn’t be delivered and in the course of multiple emails trying to figure out why it couldn’t reach me, they denied their mistake and then LIED to me outright by claiming I had given them the wrong address and then contacted them to fix it, which they tried to do, but couldn’t. In fact, none of those last things happened. They made it all up after first denying the address was wrong until I submitted photographic proof to them. That’s when they changed their story from “it didn’t happen” to “it did happen, but it was your fault”. The incompetence is disappointing but the dishonesty is mind-blowing.

Gave me no tracking number or ordered confirmation had to email them asking for it. Once my item arrived it was 2 sizes too big and now they’re telling me they can’t send me new ones until I ship it back and won’t refund me. Mistake on their part has now cost me $130 absolute scam
They use the worst delivery service in Croatia!
Delivery was very slow. What is more, they use the worst delivery service in Croatia! You pay for the shipment and they don't even deliver it to your address. They don't inform you where to pick up your package. I won't order again. The dress was nice, though.
Too big and nor prepaid returns
The order came to Hungary. Next chose the cheapest delivery company, which is the most problematic in Hungary and often does not deliver home even if they are paid to do that. This was the case also for me, so I retargeted it to a pick up box. Anyway, I got the trousers, but they were soooooo big, so I had to return them. But return is not paid and it costs half of my trousers. I just hope that at least the refund will be organised.
Good quality wide range
I ordered dressing gowns that i couldn't find in any store in South Africa considering its Winter in South Africa but I found that on Next. I understood that it would be an imported item so 40% import duties,15% VAT and documentation fees will be payable in South Africa. The goods arrived in less than a week which is faster than some local online shops and the quality is superior to what you would find on Takeallot. I would rate 5 if Next had precalculate the customs costs before checkout but it is mentioned in terms and conditions. If you are looking for cheap stuff not for you. If you are looking for medium priced including the shipping costs then I would recommend this site.

Second order in a row that did not deliver. Charged me immediately, projected the delivery date, no updates to tracking number, so I contacted Next after about 6 days. Conflicting reasons were given for why the order was not yet delivered. Was given an alternate tracking number. Order was shipped (supposedly) to another country. Then, upon checking the tracking number with originating courier, they did not receive a package yet to deliver. Next says they shipped, but did they? I don't know. They won't refund the charges until the elusive package is returned. But how long will that take, when it maybe wasn't shipped in the first place. Been shopping with Next for a while, but the last year or two has been not good and something is very wrong in the Next Direct world.

Worst online shopping experience ever
Worst online shopping experience ever. The suit I ordered for my son arrived without half the parts (jacket and bow), the shoes didn't arrive at all and they thanked me for the return (???) I didn't return anything. When I asked them to send the missing parts, they didn't send anything, they were extremely uncooperative and rude. I will never even think of ordering anything from them again.
Forget about returning
The clothes are not bad, but the size was too big, so I had to return. Only then I realised that not only return cost is not covered, but it would cost me almost the price of the item to return it, which obviously doesn’t make sense. Never again going to buy anything there.
Not a Scam. Not a bad brand at all
Right after I ordered, I checked the company reviews in case it was a scam—because honestly, their clothing just seemed too good to be true. You could really find stuff that’s priced reasonably. I ordered a button-up shirt and a chino for my husband, which came to about R800 in total. Not too bad!
Anyway, back to the reviews—there were a lot of complaints and negative feedback, which made me so nervous that the clothing might not arrive on time, or maybe not at all. But surprisingly, it actually arrived a week earlier than the estimated delivery date. Just a heads-up: the speed of delivery depends on how quickly you pay the customs fees.
The only downside is the customs tax, which was about R600 for both of my orders. And yeah, it’s expensive—but I don’t think customs fees are within the company’s control. It wouldn’t make sense to complain to them since they can’t do anything about it.
So, they’re really not as bad as the reviews make them seem. The reality is, if we choose to order from overseas brands instead of buying local, we have to deal with the consequences—mainly the high import/customs tax.
That said, the quality of the clothing is genuinely great. The materials are solid. I’ve bought chinos from Shein and from this brand, and this brand’s quality is definitely better. The chinos have a bit of stretch and a thicker fabric, but the price was about the same. I’d definitely shop here again.

If you have to return an item then you are responsible for shipping costs to the UK from Canada. In order to get it returned on time for a full refund I had to pay 60 dollars!!!!

NextDirect Running a Scam!!
I have just placed an order and I've received an email that it is going to be dlivered after 12 days after this point it would be moot. Upon contacting the customer service chat I have been told that the order cannot be cancelled even though it had been placed a few seconds before. I was told that I had to wait for it to be delivered and then send it back at my cost if I didn't want it. How is Next scamming customers now? I've told them to please cancel my oder, issue a full refund and do not send it to me as I do not need it and do not want to be out of pocket to return items that I will not need by then.

Several emails later with the same link attached to say the item was damaged in transport and I would get a refund and i can go back through the process and reorder "no thank you" however I looked at the website and the item is out of stock ??? i have received several emails since standard auto mails saying you will get the refund in 3 working days another saying 7 days. I have had similar issues with this company in the past but definitely will not be using them again and will advise others to give them a swerve. Not sure of the products they may or not be good but for online ordering stay clear is my experience.
