Appalling level of service don’t use
I am at the end of my tether with the service from this company .
So I do a lot of online shopping and many of the companies use Hermes to deliver.
In the past I had a fantastic Hermes delivery driver who was extremely efficient and pleasant , and I never had an issue with my deliveries.
So recently I have witness a blond lady in a big van delivering for you she has a young lad in the front passenger seat who throws the parcel from the van towards the front door of a building on our estate.
With the current driver I have had nothing but problems , so currently the driver repeatedly delivers my parcels to the wrong address leaving parcels outside for anyone to pick up , they are left in the rain and I get messages saying things have been delivered when they haven’t I have had two claims recently from next and yours which took all my time and effort to fight with them to assure them I did not get my parcels, your driver did not deliver to my address.!!!!!!!
So I work from home and I have twice had messages saying your parcel has been delivered , but no one knocked on my door or rang the bell. Today I had a message so I went around the estate only to find my parcel left outside for all to see at the front door of the building for flats 4-9, I live at number 2 in a completely different building , to add insult to injury a photo was taken of the parcel which could have been anywhere apparently that is proof of delivery . The time before today’s issue exactly the same happened only I could not find my parcel anywhere and had to fight yours to get my money back .
So even though very very frustrated I was prepared to contact Hermes to communicate about trying to resolve my parcels being delivered to the wrong address , in the hope that perhaps they may actually be delivered to me, but oh no I first get on the chat, and oh that is not a real person but a robot who is only capable of communicating to stock questions and answers , then blanks you if you wonder outside the script , so ok I will try to phone , another robot , so give a tracking number then only to be told it’s been delivered and good bye , noooooo option to talk to an human being to resolve my delivery issues , sooooo frustrating .
So right now I am picking and choosing who I Place orders with so as not to have goods delivered by Hermes , however I did Place an order with smyths toys just last night only to discover Hermes will be delivering so I have contacted them stressing urgently not send my goods with Hermes explaining why. I have told neighbours , friends and family to beware of your company as a delivery service and will post on Facebook if necessary until this issued is resolved . Both next and very have arranged permanent alternative delivery partners for my parcels from now ongoing which has reassured me of safe deliveries
I have e mailed the CEO for uk operations Martijn.deLange to get things resolved but per the usual ethos of Hermes no response no wonder this is such a bad company if only I could talk to a human being
