Do not buy a replacement ink package

I bought an Epson XP-2155 in Spain for occasional use. I have yet to use it normally as I also signed up for the low-usage ink package @ €0.99/month. What a tragic error that was. On Sunday I was told to replace the black cartridge. Somehow these special cartridges take total control and the only way to regain control is to buy cartridges yourself. I assume they are probably bugged to bomb at the most inopportune moment.

Wednesday morning I switch on the printer and an email arrives telling me to clean the heads. Turn it off and back on - no problem. But then its starts checking for a system update. Somehow I have unintentionally installed 4-copies of the software so I have no idea which one is reporting faults. Hours with customer service merely identified there is no way to removed unwanted copies from Windows 10.

I most strongly recommend you do not buy into this regime, it is tantamount to modern commercial slavery.

Ma voiture était évaluée à 17060 €, mais le professionnel a estimé qu'elle valait 16200 €. J'ai vendu la voiture ce soir-là en utilisant leboncoin pour 16900 €.
Je ne pense pas que la véritable offre était différente d'une offre de n'importe quel autre garage qui vend des voitures d'occasion.

Qick and simple for an effective solution

The day the meter was fitted was 5-star, however the constant badgering from the computer sending texts and e-mails was very annoying, especially after we had agreed to have the meter fitted when we returned to England.
Using the meter is very simply and seems precise. I can appreciate how, over time, we will learn to use energy more efficiently / ecconomically.

Give me a break

I want to take a flight, I do not want to receive emails everyday taking up time to read and delete.

Only when a flight or holiday has happened should Jet2 be soliciting trustpilot reviews. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, not the purchase

I was a little concerned when the Post Office sold their business to Jaja, but everything works well. Easy monthly accounting and secure login procedure.

Simple and efficient

Very simple process for an all-inclusive price. No ifs, or buts. Everything worked seamlessly on the day of fitting.

The Goodyear F1 Eagles 225x40R 92Y Asymmetric were chosen primarily because the have good rim protection and repainting rims is way more expensive than decent tyres.

I have previously highly rated DPD

I have previously rated DPD as being as good as couriers get when delivering. However my recent experience when something goes wrong their poor efforts seriously undermines that rating.
I should have received a parcel that had the right address, but the wrong post code. It seems they only deliver to a postcode and do not employ anyone who is able to correct this by looking up the correct postcode on the Post Office website.
So I tried to change the postcode myself - not possible even though it was only 20-miles away.
I then spent an hour making 3 consecutive phone calls to the only contact number in Birmingham and was given varying information each time.
But, they would not match the address and postcode. They refused to contact the depot to explain the problem, they only advised that I should contact the sender. When I explained that they were on Covid shutdown, I got the brush off.
The final laugh today was that the same depot took the same parcel to the same postcode, but were still unable to find the right address as it’s still 20-miles away.
I appreciate that these are not highly paid / skilled operatives, but I was sorely disappointed that they seem to lack basic common sense. When the computer says “NO” then an intelligent human needs to intervene.
The conclusion of the final call was the the parcel should be returned to NI, as I will be unable to receive the parcel in the UK after Monday.
I felt totally exasperated
UPDATE
The parcel was left on the doorstep of my home in the UK on a Tuesday. On Friday, I was told that this was impossible. I explained that I needed the item at my home in France and that I was leaving early Monday morning.
So the agreed course of action on Friday was that the item should be returned to the sender, so that I could claim a refund.
No one has contacted me.

A Marmite company - I hate Marmite.

Looking at Trustpilot it seems either it’s perfect, or very poor. Unfortunately my experience is very poor, seemingly clueless.
I ordered 3-items for delivery in France. First email said it was underway
2nd said DPD were handling it.
Then an email saying there was a short wait, meanwhile DPD still have not received the parcel.
On Sunday I start the first of 3 chat sessions, after the operator referred my problem to her supervisor, I was told that it would be delivered by DHL on Monday - no tracking information from DHL. DPD still awaiting the parcel.
Yesterday I chatted with Katie, she said that she would investigate and send me an email. Nothing arrived.
Today I chatted with Swapnil, she suggested that I wait longer.
I said I was unwilling and requested cancellation and a full refund.
No can do, was her reply, you need to send an email.
I send the email and following a Read receipt I get an auto reply saying it could take 7-days until someone deals with my request.
What an utter shambles!
You can find nothing in your account details other than lots of ways to receive marketing material from them. So no reference for what you have bought, or the transaction details. Amazon would allow you to cancel online, but then they understand customer service.
In fairness, the refund has been achieved very quickly. However the strange methods of Next are complete as I received 3 refunds, rather than just the one payment I made for the 3-items ordered.

Dont think that the item was in their stock

It seems they buy in the part to forward onto the customer, so it takes a while before a dispatch notice is sent.

The cost of postage seems disproportionate compared to the cost of the item.

If items are required urgently, we would advise customers to select one of the quicker delivery options.

The order was despatched 1 day after the order was placed.

Buyer beware

The price paid is not expensive. But at no point during the buying process was the actual purchase price transparent. Declaring the price might have undisclosed administration fees and what you will pay at the desk is a joke, if it is not transparent that you will only pay the more expensive admin fees now.

The price I will pay is only very slightly less than the company that I normally use that are situated within the airport.

I find the whole Booking.com thing of “this car has been booked 19 times in the last 24 hours” extremely annoying.

As the old saying goes, “ if it looks too good to be true, it probably is”. I can think of no good reason to recommend this company. Not a con, but not what it seems, or promises.
