This was the fifth and final time that I will ever place an order with them..again complete failure to deliver my goods...
None of the last 5 orders I placed with them have been correctly executed - simply not good enough and they always blame DPD..which begs the question...why keep using them????
I have just wasted 25 minutes with customer service who say DPD is at fault again (which I do not believe) - but as a gesture of good will they will issue my refund in 3-5 days instead of making me wait the standard 28 days!
What an utter disgrace! As if I will ever waste my time placing an order with them ever agin!

It used to be a good company, I hope the current economic climate sends them to the wall, they don't deserve to succeed in the current market place with such a poor business practise and lack of customer service...perhaps we should only pay for an item 3-5 working days after we have received the goods? Ordered a dress. What I received was not what was advertised. False advertising. The dress does not come with a white collar or white sleeve cuff. What a waste. The time and effort to do returns is not even worth it. Highly disappointed as the quality of the clothes is usually excellent.

I don’t have idea where all this bad comments come from! I order baby clothes 19/8 and get package delivered 24/8 in Danmark! No extra feed and free shiping! Clothes is unbelievable good! I highly recommend this site and I will 100% buy here again! Im so happy I didn’t read bad reviews before I ordered, because I will miss opportunity to buy great baby clothes!

This is my story with Next Direct. I ordered a paid for a dress. I received order and the item was damaged in a way that I cannot wear it. Contacted customer care and sent them pictures as evidence. The customer care representative was not helpful at all. The only resolution that was offered was to take the hassle, go the the post office, wait behind the queue and send the faulty item back. If the size did not fit yes I would have done that, but to return a faulty item not worth the hassle. Customer care experience has been terrible and being a loyal customer this is a big let down. My advise think twice before spending good money at next as you might get a damaged one and that is all you get!!

Ordered relatively inexpensive children's clothes and the delivery charge was significant. During delivery the delivery company (DHL) required additional payment for more than the Next delivery charges for "customs clearance". This was unexpected and significant. Recommend others assume delivery charge will be doubled (or more) when shipper gets payment. Shipping is now greater than the price of the goods.

I want to share my sad story with Next Direct,
I bought a couple of clothes for my Baby, After waiting 10 days, I asked them on Chat about my shipment, and they told me it will arrive in 3 days, After 14 days of waiting they told me the same lie, Then for about 7 days I was sending email, chatting with them.
After that shipping company asked me to pay the taxes, and I paid them 3 hours after receiving the email, Then I was surprised that I received an email from Next Direct that my shipment has been returned to them.
After that, they send an email to tell me that they can't resend the shipment again!!!
Now let me tell you some things:
1- Customer Care people lie to me too many times that the shipment will arrive in 3 days, those people keep sending emails like Robots, and they don't really give real support or customer care.
2- Customer care for more than 2 weeks keep telling me that they are contacting the shipping company, While I think they can call them in one minute.
My conclusion is, They are irresponsible customer care and I will never never ever try to buy something from them.
- I don't recommend them at all.
- Many alternatives exist
- Don't be a stupid

Just horrible support and service
Just horrible support and service. I have to contact support almost every time I place an order so they would ship it. The most recent order seems lost as it's been more than 20 days and there are no updates. The support just won't recognize it as lost, and I cannot receive a refund.
Aparently their warehouse is very dirty
Well... it looks like my dress is unharmed though it came in a very dusty ripped bag. Not the bag it was sent in but the bag under. While the dress seems unharmed the dust stiks like a steel warehouse. I hope it washes off. I won't be spending my money here again.

I happened to find this company by chance while on a months long search for a specific top I had been looking for. They were the only ones who carried it and shipped to Canada so I was very excited! They shipped it very quickly and it arrived 3 days early. Shipping was very reasonable as well considering it came from the UK, half the cost I usually pay when ordering from the states. So I definitely have nothing but good things to say about them and will shop again for sure .

Because of their billing fault, I had to pay tax fee twice. First , they accepted their fault and said they would refund. Although I sent all necessary documents and proofs of this event several times, they did not deal, and finally they said it was not their fault and they could not refund . It is a contradiction. I think it is not a confidential firm. I will never buy something from there.

I had favourited an coat on next.co.uk over a year ago but it was expensive and after having waited to see if it would be in the sale I saved to get it. Over Christmas 2022 the favourited items disappeared (this had happened on many other websites too, I suspect it’s a ploy so you can’t just buy quickly in the sale and forces you to search). By the time I saw it again it HAD been on sale and sold out. I found it for sale still on this site, nextdirect.com and ordered it, payment and address easily accepted and item sent to DPD. I saw today it was out for delivery but in the wrong country! How on earth did that happen, how did no one at next or DPD realise the address did not exist in that country? How is it now showing as delivered in that other country? I spoke to next on the chat feature and after being passed back and forth to different countries I was told I had refuse the delivery for a refund, how on earth am I going to refuse the delivery when I’m not going to be at the address you’re trying to deliver it to? Having pointed this out and a bit more disagreement the agent said he had refunded me but I haven’t got any confirmation of that in my email and it says nothing on their site. I’m sick and unable to leave the house as most people do so all my shopping is done online, I don’t get to wander around shops and see the items I want selling out, I’m so disappointed about this coat after having wanted it for so long and saving for during a cost of living crisis and nextdirect saying they can’t send it to the uk (you’re using DPD, they deliver here too, what’s the issue?). And yes, I know, why am I so bothered about a coat when I don’t leave the house much, well, I’m sick of the most of my clothes being PJs or loungewear and when I am able to go out I like to look nice, sometimes even just going to hospital is a nice treat as I’m getting out of the house, even though I hate going to appointments there.
You’re shipping and delivery teams seem to need to learn geography and your customer service people shouldn’t make such ridiculous and clearly wrong statements.
I’ve also now received an email charger me €6 for their mistake, I may never use any of your sites again, the online experience with so many companies is becoming unbearable, you need to treat customers better, especially in hard times, these things become more of a treat than a necessity when the cost of everything is so ridiculous

Looks like a joke but I don't think this is funny. I have to pay €244,- for only 1 dress (88,-) I kept!
When you call the customer service, they say you have to e-mail.
When you e-mail, they don't understand you and you get robot-answers back.

No customizing after placing an order, no customer service
I placed an order online from abroad. The day after, while my order was still not dispatched I realized that one of my orders was wrong and it was because of them -they did not mention the gender in the explanation. I contacted immediately to change or cancel the wrong one, but as I informed it is not possible to make any changes after placing an order. It will come to another country and they do not make any changes before dispatching the order, this is not acceptable. It will takes 3 weeks to arrive my country then I do not know how long will it take to return and replace a new order. most probably in 2 months, it will be done. What a time lost! I am not contacting them while my order was on its way, I contact them while my orders getting prepared.
Absolutely awful this past year
Absolutely awful this past year. I live in Portugal and always had great service, with parcels sent fast and correct items inside. This year I was sent the wrong dress. Was told oh well, send it back if you don't like it. Or have a discount off the next order. So I accepted the discount and ordered again. No discount appeared. Waited 10 days for my new order. No updated online of where my items are. So contacted Next and was told oh sorry warehouse error. The order isn't coming. Again I was offered a phony discount. I will NEVER be shopping here again which is a shame as I bought items every month.
