Absolutely DIABOLICAL!! Swiftqueue's website is very hard to navigate. The previous NELFT booking system was so EASY and straightforward compared to this new system. WHY make things so much more COMPL... See more

I would give them a minus star rating…
I would give them a minus star rating of 5......ie utterly useless poorly designed.I could not reschedule an appointment....the system simply did not work.A waste of NHS money and patient time.
Seems very flaky
Seems very flaky. I tried to find a clinic called the Laurels on Swiftqueue which it couldn't find. Though I had managed to book an appt there several days ago. It just gave me a list of all blood test places in the whole country. So I went on to Google and typed The Ls urels and got an entry for the Laurels blood tests which hen I clicked it went to Swiftqueue. Need to upgrade your search facility. Also the way to cancel an appointment out of several is not obvious. I have 45 years experience in IT.
JUST APPALLING!
Just appalling! I have been trying for two days to register and log into this system in order to book a blood test and, everytime, my log in details are not accepted even though they are correct. I use computers everyday in my line of work, but dread to think how non-computer savvy folks cope with it all. Utterly ridiculous waste of time.
Has data and booking been lost?
Have used it seven times, 6 fine but 6th was "LOST".
I am sure I booked a blood test via swiftqueue some time in May 2025, selected 13:03 on 11 July and centre. Put in my diary, turn up, swiftqueue has NO RECORD of this booking. I see someone else lost data in Jan 2025. Is there a bug??? Or have I lost my marbles?
Shame that the centre claimed to be SO busy they could not have me wait for a no show, cancellation or whatever, so drive 5 miles to nearest hospital and get test done less than 2 hours later where they say they are NOT BUSY!
This service is an absolute shambles
This service is an absolute shambles. Why on earth has the NHS removed the normal blood test appointments where you can walk in and wait.
Goodness sake. Our taxes are being squandered on RUDE and unhelpful staff. After being on the phone for over an hour they were absolutely no help. The swiftqueue system does not work.
I could not book my appointment online due to website failures. I was forced to go through the phone booking system and they were absolutely no help at all completely rude and sarcastic. What kind of clowns do you have working for you?
I spoke to a woman who sounded like she was from Essex at 1.54pm she spoke utterly disgustingly and condescendingly.
The website allowed me to book a blood test in a different area to the one where I live. There was no way of the website stopping me from booking. I was also able to book the blood test in different cities??!
However the woman on the phone was questioning why I booked in a different area, claiming there is no fault with the website??!
Why on earth would we be allowed to select to book a blood test anywhere if that wasn’t allowed. That option to book elsewhere should be blocked so people only book blood tests in their own areas!
I explained that this was the first available appointment which is the why I booked it.
I went to my booked appointment and was turned away due to not being from the area I wasted my day, I had to find childcare for my baby, I travelled on a hot day from Rainham Essex to Leyton and then to be turned away due to swift queues failure. I’m livid.
I hope your management see this.
Swift queue is excluding the elderly and less abled in getting involved with this clearly failing system. I’m 32 years old and I am able to use the internet and still it was a nightmare. Can’t imagine how it must be for others.
I agree with all the previous reviews.
Shame on the NHS and this government as a whole. We have money to support a genocide but not look after our own people. Jesus Christ.
Whose brilliant idea was it to…
Whose brilliant idea was it to introduce this new system to book a blood test! I was so frustrated, firstly the online booking system is useless, you do not get a good choice of local places, when you do, it's take this one appointment offered, or too bad, even if it is weeks' in advance. Then when I decided to phone, even though I was 19 in queue, it took over one and a quarter hour's for someone to answer, only to be tol
d nearest place I could get a test would be in a few weeks' time. I am elderly and feel very sorry for those who cannot access the internet and then have to wait ages to speak to an advisor. I thought the idea being, that it should be easier to access NHS services! A time back I would access a website, be given a bigger choice i.e.surgeries, clinics etc.and choice of days' and times. Also where is the consideration for those who disabilities do not allow them to travel further afield. People will give up trying to get an appointment and end up with worsening health issues.I hope that Wes Streeting reads these reviews!
'Slowqueue'
I tried to book a blood test in the normal way, but was directed to 'Swiftqueue' which I consider to be an unsuitable name for this company. The earliest booking date was 20 days which on average is at least a week longer than normal. I was asked to register and I did . They said an email would be sent with a passcode which I needed to enter on the registration form that I had just filled in. When I, immediately, went back to the form, it said I had been timed out, so it all had to be done again. When I went back to the booking form there was now only one date left for that day, so i booked that. This time there was no code to put into the form and within seconds I got a text on my phone confirming my original booking! My god, how bad can you get? This is where NHS money (OURMONEY) is wasted. Why cannot the NHS manage a simple booking system themselves, it's beyond me. HELP!!!
not possible to log in
not possible to log in. went through every loop several times. total fail by swiftqueue. who wants a blood test anyway?
Rubbish. Trash. An Utter Waste of Time
I resent having to share private and personal information with this bizarre, useless service for the purpose of booking a blood test. This morning, feeling too unwell, I tried to reschedule - not possible. No phone number's available, no help at all on this stupid website that should be renamed to remove Swift from the title. This is where vital NHS funding goes, to this private profiteering waste of space.
Swftqueue is a criminal waste resources
It is a scandal that this company takes NHS funding. It is not capable of providing a working booking system and just wastes the time of patients and staff.
This company is a joke that is stealing…
This company is a joke that is stealing NHS money for a not-fit-for-pupose system. I can't believe whoever thought this was a good idea. The system simply doesn't work to the basic level- yet someone has the audacity to put this as a system used by vulnerable and sick people. It's a disgrace. I really wouldn't advise you give this company ANY of your data, if they can't get a simple booking system working, how will they protect their servers from attack?
Oxymoron
The name is a joke right?
It is anything but swift. It does not queue.
A bigger problem, but we are witnessing the decline and inevitable death of the NHS, and organisations like Swiftqueue Technologies are symptoms of the disease.
Just a few months ago, I could walk down to my local hospital, take a ticket, sit down and get a blood test. I could literally do this the same day as the GP gave me the form. Sure there would be a bit of a queue but there was a team of skilled and friendly phlebotomists who would work their way through. The system worked, it was flexible, efficient and quick, one of the few services left in the NHS that was worthy of praise.
Then the NHS decided to squander my taxes on the awful service provided by the laughably named Swiftqueue Technologies.
I have just received the form, before April I would have walked down this afternoon, but now I must use 'Swiftqueue'. And this is how the experience goes
Select hospital
Select blood test
Get told that the earliest appoint is in a week. So that is a massive downgrade.
So select a date and time, but now it wants me to create an account.
So do that, only be told that I have to select another date and time because the one previously selected has gone. So it isn't a QUEUE then is it!
So do that, but the 'Swiftqueue' servers are so slow, that this selection has gone to. Round in circles several times until I finally have an appointment.
Genuine question - before April, patients could just turn up and be seen. Now it takes 7 days to be seen, why is this - have some of the phlebotomists be sacked, or are they now sat twiddling their thumbs with little work to do?
The NHS should be spending my taxes on medical staff not squandering it on useless systems like Swiftqueue.
Analysing the name Swiftqueue
It is not Swift
It does not implement a queue
So suggesting a name change to
Sluggishfreeforall
Why make life MORE complicated?
Drop-in at Horsham Hospital was replaced by a simple booking system which worked.
THEN, for some unknown reason this ludicrous system was introduced. Not only does one now need to register with this unknown company called 'Swiftqueue' before a booking can be made, but the application process also requires sharing far more personal information than is necessary, or than was previously required. ALL of this information is available to the NHS via the blood test form issued by the GP - so why do SwiftQueue (an American company) need it?
Having suffered from identity theft in the past, I was unwilling to do this. There is a telephone number for those unwilling (OR UNABLE) to use this system - but guess what ... they don't answer the 'phone!
Utter useless process
Utter useless process. What is wrong with you guys who install systems that take us back to a totally inefficient blood test facility at Horsham Phlobotomy service. I could until recently walk in, timed right it was in and out - otherwise a 10-15 minute wait. Now I have to wait days until availability shown on website so due to being away I cannot get tested before my consultation so that will now be a waste of time.
A Swift NO thanks
There is a swift queue clinic inside our local GPs at evergreen surgery. My personal advice would be to wait and have a proper nurse take your bloods from your GP clinic. I have always found the ambience in the Swift Queue clinic to be quite amateur and unprofessional. Every person I have met there has very little to basic English and I always come away with a badly bruised arm. The first thing you will notice when you walk in is someone dressed like they've just walked off the street sat on a waiting room chair with a face like a robbers dog clutching an ipad asking "Yeah Whats your name?" "Ok then take a seat yeah" No smiles, no pleases no thank yous, just an even more miserable dynamic for anyone relectant to be there in the first place to wonder if perhaps they should go elsewhere . I would guess that these are not medical people at all and that they have just done a simple 2 day phlebotomy course somewhere. Medical professionals tend to have a bit more tact and diplomacy and a better bedside manner. These people in my opinion do not. Judging by the other reviews here, I can see my suspicions were correct and that I wasnt being overly sensitive. This I feel is one money saving government experiment which will not end well.
A complete waist of time and effort. Shame on you!
This website is a completely useless time waist and the worse thing is their customer service. After an appointment was turned down by the St. Vincent's Hospital because of allegedly presenting a "wrong Form" from another Hospital which was always valid I was refused any help from the "booking website" Swiftqueue. The answers of the customer service agents Tahreem Zunash, Luke M and Mary Flanagan where simply useless, a waist of time and actually an insult. Shame on them. Please do not use this broker/booking service. Try always to talk to the Hospitals yourself. I still do not have a suitable appointment for a blood test.
This site is awful, won't even let me create an account
This site is awful, cannot even register as it's saying the recaptcha failed. I simply want to book a blood test.
The old system was quick and easy
The old system was quick and easy. This system is not even accessible for elderly and those whose english and IT skills are not good. The swift system created unnecessary queue and avoidable waiting time. It is completely not created for patients interest.
Site is down
Site is down, again. Or is simply unable to to connect ( 403 - request denied ))And I’m unable to manage my appointment for bloods . Very poor .
My mum needs a review of her meds or…
My mum needs a review of her meds or they'll be stopped. Site keeps telling me that she has too many appointments, but I haven't even booked any yet!! This is serious, as there is no walk-in centre for blood tests anymore, in Derby, and no other way to book a blood test, except for online. Help!
