Whose brilliant idea was it to introduce this new system to book a blood test! I was so frustrated, firstly the online booking system is useless, you do not get a good choice of local places, when you do, it's take this one appointment offered, or too bad, even if it is weeks' in advance. d nearest place I could get a test would be in a few weeks' time. I am elderly and feel very sorry for those who cannot access the internet and then have to wait ages to speak to an advisor. I thought the idea being, that it should be easier to access NHS services! A time back I would access a website, be given a bigger choice i.e.surgeries, clinics etc.and choice of days' and times. Also where is the consideration for those who disabilities do not allow them to travel further afield. People will give up trying to get an appointment and end up with worsening health issues.I hope that Wes Streeting reads these reviews!
