MakeMyTrip is one of the worst and most dishonest travel agencies I’ve ever dealt with. I just wanted to change my flight date, and they kept changing the price every time — first AED 350, then 430, then 490, and now 460.
At first, they said AED 290 for the date change, AED 40 for MakeMyTrip service charge, and the rest for the fare difference — but there was no fare difference at all! The original ticket I booked was AED 734, and now the same flight is AED 560, which is AED 174 less, yet they kept using the same excuse: “Price is dynamic.” Even in their own portal, the same lower fare is showing.
Even when I agreed to pay AED 460, they said they would issue the ticket after 24 hours, and if the price went up, I’d have to pay again! This is completely unfair and manipulative.
They are playing with customers, giving false information, and wasting people’s time. No transparency, no accountability, and zero professionalism. Once you book with them, you’re stuck — they keep changing their words and amounts every time. Totally unacceptable experience.

I have booked hotel in Jammu by MMT app. If you see in MMT app Hotel look like 3-4star property with parking and all facilities but reality is something else property is cheap and no parking facilities there. Also hotel staff were drunk and very rude. For the safety purpose of my family I never entered in to the property. I have sent emails to MMT and called multiple times to MMT customer support services. Nobody responded and replied. Very frustrating and very disappointed, I never recommend to anyone. Just use the hotel website.
Worst company to book a holiday plan with them, I recently book a Package to Malaysia and the booking was for a 3star category hotel , but they provided a service like OYO, asked for partial refund no support from Customer support , please don't book from them they are cheaters
MakeMyTrip Care This Diwali, I had planned to travel home to celebrate with my family. I booked my bus through MakeMyTrip, Booking ID- NU711871143454146 trusting their service.
The bus timing was 9:25 PM, and the reporting time was 10:25 PM. However, I didn’t even receive the driver’s contact number until 11:45 PM — much later than the scheduled time.
When I finally called the driver, he simply told me to cancel the ticket and request a refund on the portal, saying the bus wouldn’t operate.
Because of this unprofessional and irresponsible behavior, I missed celebrating Diwali with my family.
It’s really disappointing that such things happen even when we book through a reputed platform like MakeMyTrip.
I sincerely hope MakeMyTrip takes responsibility and ensures no other passenger faces this kind of distress in the future.

I have cancelled my holiday booking because of some reasons ,but before cancelation i requested them to make some which i required but they denied.My holiday booking was amounting 23900/- after cancellation what reply i have receive from customer care of make my trip.
Further to below mail, our team has worked on your booking, and we can offer refund of Rs. 2,717/- for your holiday which was cancelled. Hotel denied refund and flights were cancelled with penalty.
This is worst service and experince i have got from make my trip .I would like suggest dont preffer rhis plat for any booking.
The customer service by MakeMyTrip is extremely poor. I requested them to note the full surname in the ticket instead of the initials, they said they have written to Emirates Airlines and are waiting for the response of the airlines, for the past 5 days I am following up with MakeMytrip without any help. I called Emirates Airlines to understand the difficulty, according to them MakeMyTrip can do it without referring the matter to them and they also added that it should not take more than 24 hours.
Definitely something is seriously wrong with MakeMyTrip.

I contacted the hotel directly, and they confirmed that I need to deal with MakeMyTrip — but customer service has been very slow and unresponsive. This is really disappointing, and I hope someone from the team reaches out to me soon to resolve this issue.

I had booked an early morning IndiGo flight for the 6th of November from Mumbai to Amritsar through makemytrip. The airlines cancelled the flight and then offered only a late evening flight on the 6th Nov. They did not offer a flight on the previous day. They have inconvenienced us profoundly and then still deduct 3999/- from the fare. Now, they will refund only 2639/- though it was entirely their fault, which is fleecing the customers and filling their own coffers. The cancellation was done by me on 14th September and even after an entire month, they have still not refunded the said amount.
Neither Make my Trip nor Indigo allow me to check the status of my refund. Both are making me run from pillar to post. The bot on MMT is just meant to fool people. Every time I got to check my refund status, it tells me to start refund process again.
Ideally, they should refund the full amount and compensation as I have to travel the previous day and will incur additional stay expenses.
But, there is no way to get through to them. Please don't cheat customers like this. I swear off IndiGo and Make my trio and will not patronise them in the future.

I had a business class booking for Lima, booked by hosts from Peru, with booking ref 7WF62I. For some unforeseen problems, I needed to change the dates or cancel this ticket and re-book a new one.
But I am very sorry to say that MMT is a sham site. Very enthusiastic when you wish to book, but for cancellation, it is big pain and effort! They do not receive calls, the calls are automated with no option for change or cancellation and it is impossible to TALK to any representative!
i had a business class ticket worth lakhs and even after repeated emails and calls they refused to respond. Mr. Vikas who calls himself as customer service manager refused to answer the email. We tried every which way to contact/email them but all in vain! It is as if your money is forever gone when you book with MMT.
When they have to charge you the money is immediately deducted but if you cancel the money is returned only weeks or months.
I am ashamed that this is an Indian site duping customers! Worst site for booking.

Its time to review Make My Trip experience rather than hotel experience. I booked room with breakfast and got voucher for stay without breakfast. I hardly noticed it unless hotel staff point it out at the time of breakfast. MMT team was clueless and has no backup whether I booked with or without breakfast. They keep saying if your voucher is saying without breakfast then it must be like that and we can’t change it. It was so shocking and I couldn’t show any proof that I selected with breakfast option. While booking we select options but hardly check whether such options are allocated to us or otherwise. Should we record entire transaction? Hard to say. Easy is to change your travel app.

Booked a hotel 4 rooms in Munich for business visitors. Paid everything upfront. During checkin hotel informed, makemytrip only paid for one room. So , again had to pay by credit card to secure the guests. It's close to a month now, every couple of days an email comes stating refund will be processed in 24 to 48 hrs. Don't know what to do. Totally hopeless company.

WORST WORST company ever, only I could rate them -0, such a pathetic service. MMT can only mint money from customers. I had booked my flights from Bali to Mumbai for 9th Dec 2025 & my husband tried rescheduling it for the 13th Dec 2025 on their App itself, while doing it on Pay & Confirm the App was getting refreshed multiple times & later did a payment of rs.5608 after which we got our e-tickets which had a date of 13th Feb 2026, immediately I called MMT & there helpline no was going on IVR after multiple attempts got connected to an agent Debashish who raised a technical ticket & was suppose to get back within 24-48 hrs which never happened after which so spoke to multiple agents Priya, Aurgya, Aishwarya, Shivam & more all of them were dumb & useless & atlast spoke to Poonam who said we have to contact airlines for rescheduling back to Dec. For all of these I had to pay rs.63808 for a ticket which would ve costed me only rs.44000. I would urge everyone not to never use MMT as they are fraudsters.

We booked a family stay at Lego Hotel through MakeMyTrip.com. Upon arrival, we were shocked to learn that the hotel had no record of our booking, even though MakeMyTrip had already charged our credit card and sent us the confirmation.
I immediately called their customer service, twice. Each time I received the same scripted response: “We’ll work on this and call you back in 30 minutes.” After the first call we got no response. When I called again, an agent named Gitika answered and asked me to put her directly in touch with the hotel receptionist. I then discovered she was only asking for the hotel’s reservation number, this is something the company should already have.
When I requested to speak to a supervisor, I was told none were available.
This experience completely ruined our arrival and caused unnecessary stress for my family. Please be careful, a “confirmed” booking on MakeMyTrip.com doesn’t necessarily mean the hotel has your reservation.
👉 Stay away from this company — your travel plans are at your own risk.

Booked a multiple flight international round trip with MakeMyTrip. My flights were cancelled, rebooked, and rescheduled several times. Contacted MakeMyTrip 4 times over a month to cancel and get a full refund. Only on the final time did I get an email confirming that the refund request was put in. 4 customer service agents who told me that they'd put in a refund request and only the 4th one did it. The others said they'd call when it was put in and never called. Will never book with them again.
