We booked a family stay at Lego Hotel…
We booked a family stay at Lego Hotel through MakeMyTrip.com. Upon arrival, we were shocked to learn that the hotel had no record of our booking, even though MakeMyTrip had already charged our credit card and sent us the confirmation.
I immediately called their customer service, twice. Each time I received the same scripted response: “We’ll work on this and call you back in 30 minutes.” After the first call we got no response. When I called again, an agent named Gitika answered and asked me to put her directly in touch with the hotel receptionist. I then discovered she was only asking for the hotel’s reservation number, this is something the company should already have.
When I requested to speak to a supervisor, I was told none were available.
This experience completely ruined our arrival and caused unnecessary stress for my family. Please be careful, a “confirmed” booking on MakeMyTrip.com doesn’t necessarily mean the hotel has your reservation.
