I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with MakeMyTrip and the hotel booked through them. The property was listed as a 5-star, but the reality was completely different.
• The room was dirty and unhygienic.
• The handwash liquid bottle was fraudulently filled with water.
• Bedsheets were stained and had to be replaced only after I insisted.
• Most importantly, I was promised an AC room, but the room allotted had no AC at all.
The condition was so bad that I could not even stay inside the hotel and had to sit outside. Despite paying a high amount (₹27,280), the experience was stressful and unacceptable.
I raised a refund request and even lodged a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (Docket No. 7772941), but MakeMyTrip has not resolved it yet. The lack of accountability and poor customer service is extremely disappointing.
I strongly caution others to double-check before booking through MakeMyTrip.
