My cocker
Delivery was a little slow but arrived intact no issues. Pack contained three brushes and paint palette plus a magnifying card. Numbers were clear and easy to follow. Picture printed onto canvas so would look good in a frame or stretched onto a canvas. Impressed with the quality and I am enjoying seeing the image appear.

Initially bought as a present and only ordered as it stated on website it was a uk company. This is not the case and the item arrived later than advised. They refused to let me return for refund even though they advertise returns policy and continuously offered unreasonable refund amounts nowhere near the cost I paid. After about 4 weeks and numerous emails I settled for half of total cost, even though I was prepared to return the package.
The product itself is ok however the fact you have to add the frame yourself is not reflected in the price in comparison to other companies selling same item.
A couple of paints were dried, couldn’t begin to attempt to try and resolve this given previous issues with their customer service.
For any future purchases I will definitely use the tried and tested uk based company I have used previously who have excellent customer service and whose website is honest.
Disappointed in colours and quality of some of the paints
I ordered a kit to replicate a photo that I had taken. The colours don't fully reflect the colours in the photo and of the 5 paints I have opened so far 2 are sticky and difficult to paint with. Disappointed.

Am now on my 4th painting from Houseart and I’m really enjoying them…so relaxing and therapeutic to do, time just flies by when doing this. All in all good quality and have had so many lovely compliments on each of my paintings I’ve done so far. Waiting for my
next 3 to arrive (its buy 2 get on one free) only thing I would say is the delivery takes longer than what I thought. But I’m so happy with the end results. Deffo worth it !! I’m obsessed with them now. Love my new hobby.

Liked: quality of frame and canvas
Disliked: very blobby lines, not like image. Paint colours duller than image. Paint brushes poor quality. I ended up using my own colours in lots of places. Went over creating finer image.
Wouldn’t use again
Bought a very detailed kit as a gift for a friend who’s keen and experienced with such kits, I was left totally embarrassed, most of the paints had dried up and she couldn’t clearly see the numbers on the detailed parts of the pattern, not the best gift as it turned out.
Emailed the company but got no response, won’t be using this company again

Good custom orders
All custom order paintings sent in a reasonable time and in a great layout. They contacted me regarding one custom painting’s image which didn’t work and requested for another image which could work closer to their canvas sizes. As well the customer service is fast and efficient especially when one painting was sent with the incorrect amount out colors. The prices may seem steep but what you receive compared to other custom orders are slightly worth it. I would just say be careful with the images you try to use and try to fit them into some of the presets available.

Misleading Delivery Info & Poor Customer Service
I ordered paintings from this company over three weeks ago, expecting delivery within 2–3 days as clearly stated on their UK-based website. However, the order is being shipped from overseas — something that was never disclosed during checkout.
The tracking system is vague and unhelpful, offering no clear delivery date or location updates. Despite their use of ChatGPT automation, I’ve received no meaningful support or reassurance. I’m now worried I may be charged import taxes, which I was not warned about.
This feels like false advertising. I paid a significant amount for these paintings vs other providers and expected a professional service. I’m extremely disappointed and will not be ordering again unless this is resolved quickly.
Transparency and customer communication need serious improvement.

Don’t expect a response
Don’t expect a response. I have tried to cancel an order for the last 2 weeks, despite chasing a response I have not heard anything despite the website saying a 24 hour response time. I’m going to have to arrange a chargeback with my bank.
**UPDATE**
I have since had messages back from this company. One email says they didn’t receive my email, however, I am also receiving separate responses on the email they claim they didn’t receive. One part of the order has now arrived, I have asked to return the order but they keep asking me to keep it with varying degrees of a partial refund. I placed an order, no longer needed it, tried to cancel it and now I seemingly cant return it. My bank are now involved and I will be returning my order if and when they provide me with a return label.

I would give no stars if possible. I ordered two pictures weeks ago and they haven't arrived plus there is NO follow-up communication from this company, which is not based in the UK but is in China. AVOID

I ordered a customised canvas along…cheap product, poor packaging, bad customer service.
I ordered a customised canvas along with an easle and brushes. The canvas arrived in a long box which was cheap looking and not sturdy enough for the product, it was also bent like a banana!
I received my easle in a separate shipping and this was broken. I had wanted to give this as a gift and having received it realised how poor quality the items are. I was unable to gift this item due to the poor condition. I contacted house art and they offered a replacement which h I declined and asked for a full refund. They assured me that they had since changed the packaging as I mentioned that this had let the product down. Unfortunately I ordered a second canvas when placing my original order and this came in the same packaging but was not bent. The canvas is cheap and the paints are of poor quality. You can still see the numbers under the paint. Houseart did not want to give me a refund and bombarded me with offerers if a partial refund and or a replacement. I eventually settled for a partial refund because I could not be bothered to go through my card provider for the small amount I was left short. I would avoid this company.

Slow to arrive and damaged
Not a UK company, despite the .UK domain. Took over 2 weeks to arrive from China and one of the canvasses was badly creased. Raised this with customer services, but haven't heard back. I would avoid this company as there are many more better quality options available.
Update to review:
Still not heard back from Customer Services and also wanted to add that many of the paints are dried out. Really disappointing all round.

Used this company because the website had a .uk domain and i thought it was UK based. It isnt, its cheap Chinese products. The product was about 5 times the price of other similar products on amazon and ebay and not only did it arrive too late to be given as a birthday gift as it was sent from China and took weeks instead of days, the actual product itself is not worth the premium prices. Wont be using again. Got an email offering a free product for a 5 star review but I cant be bought.

Although it took ages to arrive, and not a birthday present any more. The quality of the product is good. Personalised picture looked like the photo. Arrived with all the paints, brushes and frame, all good quality and appropriate to my personalised project. So far so good. Cant wait to finish it
