If I had read some of the reviews below, I would have been discouraged from ordering from Zalando. But thankfully, this is the first time I have come to review so they are new to me.
What I have experienced from Zalando is absolutely fantastic service. I ordered an item from Germany on 16th October and it was with me in the UK by the 20th. The exact day they guaranteed. The items are comparatively cheaper (although there can be some overnight hikes!) and they have a wide range of goods. 5 items shopped this year from them and all delivered within a week from Germany. No amount of negative reviews can change what I have experienced from this group.

I mean they have sent shoes instead of a bra, and not my size either and since i sent it back i don’t feel paying for something which’s not mine and haven’t ordered or have use for it. And i find it absolutely infuriating that they fine me for a mistake they have made. Also i can’t contact anyone because they don’t have an e-mail address a phone number or anything where i could contact them. But probably a lawyer will find a way.

I have had no major issues with products, deliveries, or returns. I only recall one occasion where the wrong size was sent. Other than this, delivery times could be better, and the recent changes with the return process made it more cumbersome for the customer.
Zalando refuses to refund – and keeps my returned item!
I am deeply disappointed with Zalando's customer service and handling of my return.
I returned an order (Order No. 10101621361911) using their official return process and have clear proof of delivery via Hermes. Zalando even confirmed that the parcel arrived at their warehouse.
Despite this, they refuse to refund me, claiming that the item was not inside the box – without providing any proof or even listing what was received. I submitted all required documentation, including their "Legal Statement" and the return receipt.
I also asked Zalando to return the contents of the parcel if they weren't able to process a refund. They ignored that too.
Their support team is completely unhelpful: they simply send template responses, repeatedly ask for documents I already sent, and clearly don’t read previous messages. It feels like a black hole. It's been almost half of a year already.
As it stands now, Zalando has:

My money
And no intention of returning either
In other words: they have appropriated my property.
I’ve filed a complaint with German consumer protection authorities (Verbraucherzentrale) and will escalate this case legally if necessary.
I used to trust Zalando. Never again.

I sent a parcel back
I sent a parcel back, with proof of return and tracking. I got anyway contacted for payments, as apparently they did not receive it. I provided proof again, was reassured by the Customer Service that all was fine and I could ignore the reminders and letters and still I keep receiving official reminders, with penalties. Since you fired your Customer Service your company became I joke. If you read this, don't ever order on Zalando.
twice wrong item sent, money was not sent back
I ordered 4 items in two seperate orders. Twice reeived wrong order (hence the second order, they prompt you to re-order), then sent items back, received only one refund. No way to contact them. Absolute disaster and pure chaos in this online shop. absolutely not recommented to buy there.
Zalando Refuses Legal Return From EU Country
I ordered from zalando.de, had it delivered in Germany, and now want to return the item from Bulgaria, where I currently live.
Zalando refuses to give me the return address or accept the return unless I send it from inside Germany, using only their preferred carriers.
They explicitly told me:
> “Zalando does not offer international returns or delivery, and all returns must be made from the country where the order was originally delivered.”
This is not stated anywhere in their return policy and is illegal under EU law.
The EU Directive 2011/83/EU guarantees that I can return an item from another member state, at my own expense. Zalando is knowingly blocking a legal return.
I asked repeatedly for the German return warehouse address — they refused.

I got a coupon for my birthday from friends. They paid the coupon in the store. Zalando now tells me the coupon is not activated and its my obligation to backtrack with the store. I dont know which store, that is and i dont want to offend my friends. Either zalando works with scamming stores or undilligent ones, either way im not ordering again. And dont get zalando coupons, youll waste your money.
Zalando is stealing my money
I have been ordering from Zalando for years and it used to be okay, but the last year has been a disaster, items are missing from parcels or they are sending the wrong product and they refuse to refund, basically stealing my money. I ordered many years lots of clothes and schoes on Zalando. Unfortunately this year it is a completely huge disaster. I returned the items and I didn't receive my money back, I ordered boots and received sandals. They have a program where they buy back clothes if they are in good condition. I didn't receive money!!! The custom service is disaster, the are incopetent. AVOID Zalando when you don't want to lose your money.
Theft in Zircle depot
I am a plus customer with almost 10000 points, at the highest status apparently as they share on the app. I have been using the app for 3+ years now. I had plenty of small issues and did not need to write here until today. I am also a sellbox (a.k.a. Zircle) user. This is a good chance for less used items to be sold with a good price. However the Zircle team ‘accidentally’ lost one item (of 27 euros-a pair of almost new Tommy sandals) and told me that it wasn’t in my initial sellbox. This was insane as I know DHL wouldn’t open and take items from a package, and I sent it! There’s one last possibility of a theft, which they never consider and blame the missing item on me. They never give the credit of how long the customer has been with them and how reliable their words would be. It’s simple: their words over whatever the customer tells. I could’ve kept that pair of shoes for my daughter’s younger cousin if I knew they would get stolen. It is a big pity how people can quickly prefer acting cheaply rather than being honest. I am very dissatisfied, and wishing that they have good competition for online shopping here in Germany for people who work all day like us and have no time to physically go shopping.
Frustrating first experience – no proof of delivery
This was my first time ordering from Zalando. I placed the order on the weekend and was excited to get it quickly — they said it would arrive on Tuesday. But on Tuesday afternoon, I got a message saying it had been delivered… even though I was home all day and nothing ever came.
My security camera confirms no one even approached the door. Hermes (the delivery company) claims they left the package outside, but there’s no photo, no signature, no real proof — just a message saying it was “left at the door.” Why didn’t they ring the bell? Why not make a real effort?
Zalando says they will investigate, and I’ll wait for that, but it’s frustrating. I was looking forward to my first order, and it turned into a confusing situation where I don’t know what happened or if I’ll get what I paid for.
