Thick useless
I returned an item picked up by Royal mail as they usually do when it is picked up from buyer a refund is issued but sent me an email later on to say they haven’t received the item so I will be charged for it.
Now the same as a lot of the reviews the fun starts I contacted customer services wow what a joke that was my account still shows item not received and I owe them for it that will be taken from my account they agreed it was collected but obviously either Royal Mail has lost it or they have so because the collection was arranged by them they should be finding out where’s it got to not make the customer pay again.
This has been going on since MONDAY 18th AUGUST I will not be giving up this is my money they have which I returned for false information and Chinese cheap rubbish
Amazon are liers
Amazon are liers
I ordered something for £50 next day delivery because I desperately needed it i was told the delivery was from 7am to 10pm I waited in all day and cancelled a night out to wait for it then at 10.15pm I got a message saying it's getting delivered the next day so I called them was on the phone for over a hour getting passed to 4 agents and then they said wait for the delivery and we will compensate you for the full amount so I did and now they just told me there was no such conversation so basicly amazon lied to me
EBay much safer for buyers than Amazon.
Amazon used to be the ‘safe’ option if I could see a product I wanted to buy on Amazon and EBay.
Often EBay was the cheaper of the two, but with Amazon it was easier to request a refund and obtain one.
However, things have changed and I recently ordered a large roll of bubble wrap which didn’t arrive.
The company said they’d posted it and it was lost, so I contacted them and accepted their offer of a replacement.
Well, the replacement didn’t arrive so I requested the refund.
This wasn’t forthcoming, but after 30 days we’re told we can claim using Amazon’s A to Z policy.
But click on ‘Make an A-Z claim’ and you’re taken to the link to contact the seller, who ignores you.
However, EBay now have great buyer protection and a seller who refused to send me a refund had my payment taken from them by EBay, so J ended up with a full refund and didn’t have to send the item back.
Scumbag lying customer service
They really should remove the Indian call centre, it is am absolute joke of a company, not a single one of the idiots can do their job, constantly having technical faults so they can pass you on and on and on to their friends who then... Pass you on again and your complaint is never ever resolved and they hope that you give up and not bother
Getting told you will get an email confirmation of a full refund then of course nothing ever gets sent
Customers are a problem, they hate customers with a passion, they are too busy on Facebook to care about your issue
I would sack each and every one of the call centre staff
I would not even recommend them getting a job in mcdonalds because they will only screw that up as well
Amazon are lying
What went wrong is an understatement I wanted to buy an extra place setting of my cutlery only available in Amazon. I proceeded to the basket as usual , with it being sharp blades you have to go through a verification form I accept. I put all my details which they have on file when you first become a prime member. But it kept failing saying my age couldn't be verified for god sake . I am over 50 , I bought the original 4 place set only a few months ago and had no issues. So there new checking procedure is absolutely full of bugs as it uses Experian which I can't understand as I am registered with Experian and to be registered you have to prove security questions that matches up what they already know. I passed all there tests. But Amazon is blaming me and telling me to change what's on my debit card to match Amazon but it didn't work. I have twitter workers sending messages supporting them that it's my fault. They won't take responsibility for their failed verification process. I am wheelchair bound and need online shopping and spend upto 2500 a year on shopping and household bits and this is the thanks I get. I ask to speak to a human being but they send me a message I felt insulted they treated me a disabled adult like a nobody and never looked at their systems firstly they said it was all my fault is this the way they treat the little person now.

If I could give minus 10 I would. A bin that was ordered apparently delivered to safe place. Ring door bell footage shows driver delivering to front door step and a couple of minutes later retuning and picking it up again and returning to his van.
Gone round in circles trying to complain to Amazon with no success. Good to know that Amazon are now supporting theft of items!!
I have recieved a returns code
I have recieved a returns code, but sadly it does not connect to the Evri reader, I have tried a few times to get someone to help with this, but as yet I have no reply
Good company, AWFUL drivers!
The site itself I don't really have a problem with. I'm grateful it exists.
My problem is with the drivers.
I ordered £89 worth of goods for my friend who lives in care home. It's down a lane with no other houses around it.
It was marked as delivered but the photo was of a front door on a normal house. Definitely not the door of the care home.
I had a refund from Amazon, thankfully, but what a lazy driver!
They should take a photo of the house number at least like DPD drivers do.
If there was a little extra info in the picture, a carer might have recognised the road and gone to pick it up.
Terrible,Not to be trusted. Dishonest Company
One star only because I have to give a star to review. Printer ordered 30/08/25 - delivery on 02/09 by Royal Mail24. Email 02/09 delivery delayed 1/2 days.
04/09 I rang & cancelled order & ordered Printer from Printerland (next day delivery). 05/09 Printer arrived am from Printerland, in afternoon Printerarrived from Amazon! Refused to accept delivery told him it was cancelled previous day so Mailman put it back in his van. AI generated Email from Amazon - my account frozen due to violations of their terms & conditions from Account Specialist. I appeal & ask how I had violated their T’s & C’s? Same AI emailed reply. Customer Services say they can’t intervene, different department, Amazon refuse to acknowledge return of printer, Royal Mail say it was returned & signed for on 11/09. Unable to get refund of £230. Applying to Ombudsman, will never use Amazon again.
Get it sorted Amazon as parcels frequently arrive damaged.
There is an increasing frequency in getting damaged parcels from Amazon UK. A toy water powered rocket kit in which the box was torn open and then sellotaped over before shrink wrapping.
Also some a packet of maize cakes that were crushed into pieces. It took over five minutes going through the Amazon UK obstacle race to eventually talk online to a none AI member of staff before I was refunded for this egregious behaviour.
Best ever!!
A 14 day return now takes 31 days.
I sent a broken set of headphones back on the 12th of September ups collected them ups delivered them on the 15th of September at 14:00 hours. Yet. I have to wait until the 12 or 13th of October. For a refund of a £109 what a joke, a Multimillion pound company has totally gone to pox just lately all the customer services do is read from a script and make excuses up telling me once it's been processed in their returns department. I will be refunded. All it takes is for someone to pick the parcel and scan the barcode. Yet it is the 24th of September, and I'm still waiting for it to be accepted at the return centre. Even though it was delivered 9 days ago. I told them someone is not doing their job correctly yet. I have to suffer for it. Why the hell should I have to wait for 31 days for a refund? When it clearly stated a 14 day return, now im told it could take up to 31 days. amazon, you're a bunch of tossers.
Prime Promises, Broken Trust…
Amazon’s failure to honour delivery commitments under Prime membership is not just inconvenient—it’s emblematic of a deeper cultural disconnect. I had a package scheduled for delivery today. The tracker clearly showed it was not feasible, yet no update, no apology, no accountability. When it inevitably fails, the commitment Amazon made is simply erased. Prime membership, once a mark of reliability, is now treated as optional—its promises routinely pushed aside.
This isn’t just poor logistics. It’s a breach of trust. In Europe, a commitment carries moral weight. Amazon’s casual disregard for delivery timelines reflects an American corporate ethos of deflection and dominance—where failure is normalized and customer dignity is secondary. That may fly elsewhere, but here, it’s a fundamental failure.
Transparency matters. Respect matters. Amazon’s refusal to acknowledge its own delivery failures makes it culturally irrelevant to European customers who expect—and deserve—better.
Why can you never speak to a person…
Why can you never speak to a person over the phone at amazon it's predicted text messages you get, they are a lousey company
Amazon 1 star LKA2 Store 5 Stars
I Purchased some pond lights unfortunately I had an issue because 2 out of 4 lights failed upon contacting the seller and explaining the issue the seller replaced the lights without any issue; however Amazon wont let me leave a glowing review of the seller because this breaches their community guidelines which only want you to post reviews that promote sales! What an atrocious way to do business Amazon!
Useless Amazon Delivery
Amazon are good at selling many items and a quick delivery, but their options of contacting their customer service is extremely annoying and frustrating. I've had 2 parcels delivered this afternoon. No knock at the door or even a ring on the doorbell, instead I get a delivery notice for the 2 parcels with a photo. Clearly states parcels "behind wheelie bin" in fact they are IN the wheelie bin!! I'm unable to reach into a wheelie bin for many reasons, one being a recent stroke!!! I cannot contact Amazon to tell them how unhappy and annoyed I am. Someone else had to fish the parcels out for me , they would have been collected and destroyed by the bin men (Not their fault) without my knowing. I do not expect any of my parcels to be placed in a bin, I am indoors and people around me would take a parcel in on my behalf. Amazon, get your act together, spend some of your millions to train your delivery drivers to deliver a proper delivery
service and provide a decent service!!!!
Non existent customer care at Amazon
My delivery preferences are very simple for Amazon - if aim not home, deliver to my next door neighbour, who is always home.
But no, Amazon delivery drivers insist on leaving parcels unattended on my doorstep, in full view of the street EVEN WM HOME. They don’t even ring the bell.
Some time ago, I was burgled and on the day of the burglary, my neighbours told me a parcel had been left in my doorstep and the police said that may well have advertised to the burglar that no one was home.
I’ve advised Amazon of this and how upsetting leaving parcels on my doorsteps for me and they have repeatedly left parcels on my doorstep a total of TWENTY NINE times.
The Exec Complaints Team serve no purpose whatsoever but to be rude. Their responses treat each episode as if it is a stand alone issue and not a systemic and persistent one. They do not address concerns that I raise and if I respond to them to ask them to address my concerns, I’m told they won’t be responding further (basically, telling me to go away)
My MP has written to them twice and each time, like me, he received a copy and pasted, banal response (the one ai get every single time) “this has been passed on the the relevant manager and will be investigated and the matter is now resolved” The matter is NEVER resolved as it keeps happening.
I have occasionally received a phone from this team and am invariably promised a thorough investigation, after which they will call me in a certain date. When I don’t receive a phone call as promised, I contact them to be told they won’t be commenting further.
I’m told lies. They assure me every time the matter is resolved and won’t happen again. TWENTY NINE TIMES!!!
I’ve contacted senior members of staff at Amazon and have been totally ignored.
No one cares about customers or customer service at Amazon. Disgusting.
I am posting on here because Amazon have been taken over by the thought police.
I am posting on here because Amazon would not post my review because it contrvened their "policy", maybe they have now joined the UK thought police! Here is my original review;
So I had to state my year of birth to be handed the package which I immediatley identified as containing Red Astair by the unmistakeable aroma eminating from the leaking contents. Sure enough, opened it up and the picture says it all.
Great Product which I repeatedly purchase, but packaged and "delivered" by Amazon who really couldn't give a T***.
Going over the newsagent now for 20 Rothmans as my day has yet again been ruined by Amazon. When will I ever learn.
