I received my hub 5 yesterday 28th of May , I am thus far very pleased with the new arrival, the day started well when Yodel delivered it before midday, the driver was really pleasant.
I sent the Go activation text, and received confirmation of the activation from Virgin Media , I installed on. the 29th, I found the light sequencing on hub a tad confusing initially , and at first the router did not play nice and required 2 factory resets before it settled down , I switched it to Modem mode, and linked it up with my own router a netgear RAX 120 Wifi 6 router.
The Big design improvement with the Hub 5 is for me are the extensive ventilation slits throughout , including the top , this will greatly aid temperature control, but just in case I have designed and custom built
a usb fan cooling device ( not yet used) . After several hours of use the hub is still very cool to the touch, when compared with my previous Hub 3.
There is also a noticable increase in signal stability,over the previouse Hub 3, which is handy when your streaming.
All in all very pleased.
