Dumped on the doorstep again
I was sitting in the front room when the doorbell rang. I went to the door but the courier was already out of the gate. The parcel had been left in the open porch. Several neighbours have had parcels stolen by thieves who follow the couriers and get to the parcel before the owners have had time to open their door. I blame Evri rather than the couriers, who probably are given an unreasonable number of deliveries to do.

apparently my parcel’s enjoying a long holiday in the locker
It’s been seven days since my parcel checked into an Evri locker, and apparently, it’s decided to retire there. No one has come to collect it — maybe they’re waiting for a special occasion?
I’ve refreshed the tracking page more times than I care to admit, and it still says “awaiting collection”. At this point, I’m starting to think my parcel has been adopted by the locker and they’re living happily ever after.
No updates, no explanation, just silence. It’s impressive really — Evri has managed to turn something as simple as parcel collection into a week-long mystery.
If you’re looking for an adventure in patience and disappointment, I can’t recommend them enough. Otherwise, maybe try a company that actually collects parcels.

Never known a company take so long to deliver parcels. Just do not get that with Royal Mail. Bizarre that it’s the go to choice for eBay. No chance I’d ever choose to send a parcel with them. No improvement over the years. Still very much Hermes despite the desperate name change.

Tracking times sent at short notice…
Tracking times sent at short notice usually, and no ability to choose a different date. Have sent instructions for change in where to leave parcel - not always heeded by couriers. Usually they knock and run - leaving parcel at front door. I don't blame them as I know they have to keep to specific timings and waiting for everyone can be difficult. Everything does arrive, and is intact.

Shocking company said my parcel had been delivered on 8th October 2025 well no it hadn't went onto the chatbox and got EZRA who informed me that someone would contact me well guess what NOT A PEEP tried ringing and automated message said same thing what a shocking dispicable company

All of a sudden I am not getting my…
All of a sudden I am not getting my deliveries for weeks, or they are getting damaged and I'm getting no updates. I get emails saying things will be delivered and they aren't or parcels held hostage at their depots. Awful awful service and I'm trying now to not order from companies that use Evri! Sort it out Evri, you were brilliant before but this service is bad!

They must have been using my parcel as a football!
Sending parcels to a customer with perishable items packed in ice.
Sent NEXT DAY DELIVERY
The parcel arrived 3 days later.
It was completely destroyed - they must have been playing football with it at the depot as all the contents had been smashed about and completely destroyed
Customer services were useless.
1. Using contact form. Received an email saying they are pleased that my parcel has now been delivered' and thanking me for my patience - completely ignoring the damage and the photos/complaint sent
2. Using their telephone line (call number 1) - same as above. It took 30 minutes to get through to an 'agent' who told me the parcel had been delivered and again ignored the images and complaint. I was sent a link via email to a 'claim form' - the link doesn't work and takes me to a 'page that no longer exists'
3. Telephone call number 2 - 40 minutes this time on hold waiting for a human to answer. Still no apology just an email requesting more information so that the claim could be completed 'manually'.
So that's at least 2 hours of my busy time wasted, not to mention the items which were completely ruined.
This is really disappointing. I run a business and have used their service on many previous occasions and never had this issue.
While I understand things can go wrong on occasions, the fact that no one has even bothered to offer an apology nor even acknowledge that their service has been appalling.
I shall wait now with baited breath for my refund / compensation which can apparently take up to 28 days
And of course ‘Carrie’ the chat responds
