If I could give minus 10 I would

If I could give minus 10 I would. A bin that was ordered apparently delivered to safe place. Ring door bell footage shows driver delivering to front door step and a couple of minutes later retuning and picking it up again and returning to his van.

Gone round in circles trying to complain to Amazon with no success. Good to know that Amazon are now supporting theft of items!!

Arrived and boarded train at Waverley…

Arrived and boarded train at Waverley station in Edinburgh. After half an hour announcement to say to get off train as not going. No apology or explanation. Went back to concourse only to find an hour to next train. If we wanted one quicker would have to buy another ticket. Second train journey disrupted, first in February train stopped less halfway through, told not going any further and was left to find alternative transport - bus. Not able to get refund either for train ticket not used or expense of bus ticket. Always told to use public transport but disaster every time we try!

Delivery is diabolical

Delivery is diabolical, despite instructions and a note on door not to leave on doorstep. Parcels are dumped all the time. Even if we are in drivers don’t ring doorbell and dump parcels. Sometimes they appear to be chucked in the garden over the fence. Despite finally managing to get through to customer service recently still today parcel dumped in front garden in a small greenhouse which was open and anyone could see parcel. We are on a busy main road. Once again we were in but didn’t even come to front door. When you check quite often they lie and say handed to resident or left in safe place when clearly not happened. Why can’t this company deal with this appalling delivery service. I would give it a minus score if it was possible.

Cloud Storage Nightmare

Have had Cloud storage with Currys for a few years. Before renewal this year I contacted Currys asking for account to be closed. Told to complete online form which I did and submitted. Despite my email being the one they used to contact me regarding the cloud account; and is the email linked with account, received email to say can’t locate account. Advised to complete online form again which I did a further twice. No further contact from Currys.

On checking my credit card they have taken £60 for the cloud account I asked to be closed.

Spoke to Trading Standards who advised contacting them and putting complaint in writing which I have done. Once again met with silence.

Beware when dealing with Currys, they have a habit of going silent when it suits them and take your money when you ask them not too.

Update 12/01/25: Asked to contact Customer Service using the information below. Did this 4 days ago and not even received an acknowledgment. Customer Service is obviously as bad as the rest of the company. Useless. Guess I have to accept the money is not being refunded. Company not even willing to engage with a customer.

Knife ok

Knife ok. Ordered sheath for it over a month ago quick to take money but no sheath. Contacted customer services who are useless, provided update re tracking which I knew about. Emailed back to them asking for refund but they have gone silent. Quite a difference from the bombarding of calls you get once you order. Not getting money back and no goods. DO NOT use this company.

Customers Obviously an Inconvenience

Went to Curry’s to buy large computer monitor. Found one I liked and had to go looking for assistance. Five assistants standing chatting. Approached them and was ignored to start with. One eventually sighed and asked if they could help. Explained what a wanted and he turned to another colleague and asked him to help me. Assistant obviously not happy as was interrupted in his conversation. Eventually asked which monitor I wanted and he went off to find one. Came back advised his iPad not working. Taken to another assistant to pay who again not pleased to have conversation interrupted. When I refused to take extended warranty. Snapped at to pay and literally had receipt thrown at me. Obviously customers in store are just a nuisance!!

Normally have good service with this…

Normally have good service with this company but disappointed this time. Received notification beginning of April re phone handset contract coming to an end. I decided to change the handset and had this organised confirming the new price and contract. Just seen my next bill and a little shocked to see I have been charged £29 early termination fee. If this had been made clear I would have waited the 3 weeks and made sure I was completely out of the contract. Warning…watch out if you intend to stay but just change your handset, not made clear you would get hit with the fee.

Cannot Return

Order arrived fine, however when trying to return; eventually found the returns portal and try as I might keep getting told order number not recognised. Totally frustrating and annoying. However, cannot find anywhere to speak to a human being or even email anywhere and not allowed to return item to shop. One way I suppose of ensuring you keep the item whether you want it or not! Disgraceful and disappointing way to treat customers. Would not shop with them again.

Update: Been emailing back and forth explaining order number is not being recognised on system for being able to return. Outcome of all this they gave me the same order number I already have. Oh and an email to tell me I need to pay the cost of returning. Pointed out I already knew this but system not recognising order number. I have given up totally ineffective and no help whatsoever.
