9/23/25 ON 11/17/24 I ordered an electric bike via Ebay.
I RETURNED AN ELECTRIC BIKE THAT DID NOT WORK TO MOONCOOL. EBAY SENT ME A PACKING SLIP. UPS PICKED UP THE BIKE THAT WAS REPACKED IN THE ORIGINAL BOX AND DELIVERED IT TO MOONCOOL WAREHOUSE ON 12/29/24. THEY RESPONSE, “THEY DID NOT GET WHAT THEY SENT.” I SENT TWO AFFIDAVITS THE BIKE WAS PACKED IN THE BOX IT CAME IN AND PICKED UP BY UPS. I SENT THEM THE FULL UPS ROUTE TO THEIR ADDRESS. THEY REFUSED TO REFUND THE $1,419.33. NOW THEY HAVE THE MONEY AND THE BIKE.. THERE IS NO PHYSICAL MAILING ADDRESS. MY REGISTERED LETTER, RETURN RECEIPT COULD NOT BE DELIVERED.

I am in the process of getting some Dental implants from "Inland Empire Oral Surgery..." in Redlands . Dr. Paxman and his assistants David and Heather were awesome. Be Aware of Bias Reviews & Censorship on Yelp

Many Review Websites such as yelp.com & ratemyprofessors.com have too many Bias Reviews or too much Censorship.

For Bias Yelp Reviews, they are mostly written by people who just do NOT like the business in general. Many negative reviews of certain business are bias, lacks constructive feedback in how to improve the business & instead we see more about "I hate you business" on Yelp. Finally, most of the Yelp Negative Reviews seems to look more like Cyberbully Trolling instead of actual constructive feedback in how to make the business improve themselves.

Other Bias Yelp Reviews seems to be written by businesses who just want to self promote; more of Propaganda of their business is #1.

Finally, the case of Censorship, I've written a fair amount of constructive feedback on certain businesses on Yelp, but Yelp removed some of them, despite I did analyzed BOTH the positives & negatives about my experience with certain business companies.

Yelp really needs to work on identifying which comments people put on Yelp are Constructive Feedback versus comments that are just Rude, Bias, Propaganda, or Self-Promoting.

Constructive Feedback should consist of BOTH Pros & Cons of a Business Company & needs to be analytical in order to help a Business Company improve. Especially when commenting Negative, a good Negative Comment should analyzed WHY the Reviewer's Experience with a Business Company was negative & HOW can the business company improves, NOT a "I Hate You Business" comment. Positive Comments should also say things like "I like this & this in Business A, therefore I hope Business A should continue that good habit of this & this" & not "propaganda" comments like "Business A is Awesome & better than other businesses"

Yelp Employees needs to learn how to identify which Reviewer Comments are Constructive/Analytical to keep versus which comments are just Bias. Bias comments needs to be censored

Yelp is dangerous for patients.

Yelp has removed real patient reviews of my medical practice—reviews from actual patients who wanted to share their positive, firsthand experiences. By silencing them while leaving up false, anonymous “troll” reviews, Yelp distorts the truth and actively harms patients who rely on reviews to find safe care.

As a physician, I also wrote reviews warning patients about unsafe hospitals and clinics in the Inland Empire where I personally worked. I witnessed negligence and harm, even patient deaths. Yelp deleted those reviews under the excuse of “conflict of interest,” while protecting the very corporations—including dangerous hospitals—that caused harm.

Yelp’s behavior silences physicians who advocate for patient safety and erases the voices of real patients. This is not a neutral platform—it is corporate censorship that endangers lives. Patients deserve transparency, not manipulation.

Yelp’s actions cannot stand. They are undermining public trust and putting vulnerable patients at risk.

Yelp Created a Fake Listing Under Our Trademark and Refuses to Fix It

Yelp created a business page for us without permission, then filled it with the details of a completely different company — including their photos, locations, and description. This has caused brand confusion and damage to our trademark.

We have contacted Yelp five times, provided screenshots and clear explanations, yet they continue to ignore the issue or send irrelevant replies. Instead of correcting their own mistake, they refuse to remove the page or even escalate the matter.

This was not user-generated content — Yelp itself created the listing under our name and misrepresented our business. The refusal to fix their own error shows a complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and respect for business owners’ rights.

If you value your brand and reputation, avoid Yelp entirely. They will use your name without consent, misrepresent your business, and then refuse to correct their mistakes.

When lacking Google...

i mean as far as ease of use, Yelp is almost as good as Google. I do appreciate they want you to keep the reviews as they are, because it means the businesses can't make you "change your mind". problem is, since you can't edit, you can't take back the nasty things you said :) so if you're using, make sure you wait a while before being snarky. it will follow you around.

Ann Taylor/Loft

Ann Taylor/Loft
I very rarely shop either store. However, recently I had a charge on my bank statement that I didn't recognize. My bank TD Bank could not figure out the company charge and advised a dispute. Fast forward- bc they use Comenity for there payments, it wasn't identified as Ann Taylor. After several calls to ATL and my bank, the charge was going through. An email stating the charge is still not paid and accruing charges. Called ATL- s/w Chris- who was rude and over spoke my every word. Spoke with a supervisor- Jennifer- who was equally not hearing anything I had to say. Now I will NOT pay the $74.07 that was due!! And I will NEVER shop them again!! Good work!

🚨 Warning to Every Small Business Owner: Stay Away from Yelp 🚨

Yelp has taken $1,845.75 of our money since June 30, 2025 — and delivered absolutely nothing. Not a single new client. Not a single paying customer. Nothing but empty promises, useless excuses, and predatory billing.

We went into this program in good faith. We were told Yelp advertising would generate leads and opportunities. What did we get? Zero results. We tried for months, made multiple phone calls, wrote emails, and gave them every chance to make this right. Instead, Yelp doubled down, refused to refund a penny, and hid behind canned “final decision” emails.

This is not just poor service — this is a predatory business practice against small businesses. They sell you the dream of exposure and customers, then drain your bank account while delivering NOTHING in return. And when you ask for accountability? They slam the door in your face.

Yelp is despicable. Their advertising is a scam, their customer service is a wall of refusal, and their entire model is built on exploiting small businesses who don’t have money to waste.

We will never spend another cent with Yelp, and we will make sure every business owner we know hears our story. If you are considering Yelp advertising: don’t do it. Protect your business. Protect your money. Protect yourself.

Yelp will take your cash and give you nothing but excuses in return.

Misleading Billing Practices & Poor…

Misleading Billing Practices & Poor Support – Be Cautious with Yelp Ads

When I signed up for Yelp Ads, the representative (Richard) explained that I would be charged per click and that unused budget would not be spent. Based on this, I agreed to move forward and accepted a $300 promotional credit to try the service.

For several weeks, my Yelp dashboard showed a remaining balance of $112, which led me to believe that my promotional credits were still active. Then, without warning, the balance suddenly dropped to $0, and my card was unexpectedly charged $151.

During this time, my ads generated 47 total clicks, but zero actual business, providing no return on investment. While poor performance is frustrating, the real issue is the misrepresentation of billing terms and the misleading way credits were displayed, which directly caused this unexpected charge.

I contacted Yelp support for help. At one point, my case was being reviewed and the original sales call was pulled for verification, but the call dropped mid-conversation and I never received a follow-up. Eventually, I was informed that no refund would be issued, despite the circumstances and the fact that the ads produced no results.
