This is pure review scam. If you dont pay their exorbitant fees they will hide your positive reviews and post you among businesses that have bad reviews. If you pay them alot, they will hide your negative reviews. The companies that pay them dont even realize they are paying a blackmailer. Which also dont realize that people hardly look at yelp and are not essential, not relevant. The sites that stand out are the ones that cant be bribed.

I worked at the West Cancer Center in the Adm. building in a coding assistant, possibly 3 years ago; I enjoyed my job. I worked with some wonderful employees that I learned from what I can understand. I was let go while on medical leave, because of Lupus and seizures at that particular time in my life. The West Cancer Center had a big turn over and my boss called me at home and explained it to me, also she was moving back to Florida. So this year I was able to return, because I left on a good turn, I got hired back. I had a bad auto accident and didn't have transportation, so I rode Ubers and Lyft they're just like Taxi. I was hired back as a Scheduling Coordinator II, I enjoyed the patients and family members that brought them in for office visits who warm my heart, some more than others; but no one is perfect especially when they're sick. This time I worked in the clinic side, it was very different and unusual. I was roasted! called so many abusive names dumb, can't read nor write; also under my personal private parts. They also said if you tell it there not going to believe me, because you're delusional, meaning you are (mentally ill) and at least I have a roof over my head; because you're a piece of trash meaning you belong in a dumpster. Well, I had to hear that everyday, how can you focus on your assignments if you're trying to check out patients, scrubbing the over book schedule for the radiology dept, call patients to reschedule further appointments. Hell! I got called so many times in the office I started doubting myself; I had to remind myself with all my experience of 22 + years I have done a lot of scheduling, but I have to learn it the West Cancer Center way; per supervisor of all scheduling coordinator and also front desk manager. The supervisor and manager, they're both together all the time and walk me into the office. I didn't understand a lot of times why they would call me when my information was correct, then it so happens would change in the system. I guess we have more prankers in the clinic, I hung on there because I needed my job. Both called me into the office again after my last day of roasting and fired me, I never worked in a clinic like this before; it was unusual. I was hurt, I needed my job really badly for financial reasons; but the roasting everyday I was relieved. I try to treat people the way I wanted to be treated, I thought it had stopped no ma'am and sir those huffers followed me to the residences house where I stay and pay rent. They ride through all the time of the day, night and up into the morning; I don't get any sleep. Some are church people, would you expect better from them than that; they hollering hallelujah thank you Jesus. Family members call me Ne - ne, classmates and old friends call me Pascha, others call me Ms. Williams etc. If you don't believe me, please investigate, the situation. They're repeating the same thing, like a revolving door speak for someone household who doesn't pay rent; but I do! That's unacceptable when the residence owners hadn't physically nor verbally said anything to me about it; telling me to get out of the owner's home everyday especially at night. I ask before I pay rent each month, hell they fight over someone else's home. Also, Ms. Williams we don't like you, because we don't care that's their response!! When asked to stop by me. They laugh like they're unstoppable they have family members in higher positions and are bregging out loud so you can them. I just had to say something, I hope they treat the next person better than they have treated me; if they investigate before someone gets physically badly hurt (DIE) you can't rewind that (LIFE). If something should happen to me at least you'll know the truth, but am not perfect either. So the best of luck those huffers aren't going to stop, when it's all said and done, I wish the pranksters would change the negative into a positive playful fun on both ends. Well! ladies and gentlemen like my grandpa used to say let me know when you are in the neighborhood huck your horn to say Hello! and Redditch! when you drive by the residence house where I am temporary renting 🏠. You be waking me up anyway, so bring it on I can handle it!! 😉 🚘🎺🙀

They charged me $510 a month for ads but they would send me fake leads. The messages never led to anything and we got over 100 of them. Can't be a coincidence at that point.

I would not recommend YELP. My experience has been terrible. I signed up for the 30-day trial to step it out. There were no leads, and very confusing to set up. I canceled and was still charged for some reason. When I called to talk to someone, they were very rude and not helpful at all. Please do not sign up with them. Bad customer service.

Once you list your business on Yelp, you can’t remove it — no matter what. That means your reputation is at the mercy of Yelp’s system.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Anyone can leave a review, even if they never used your services. In our case, someone gave us a 1-star rating because they claim we didn’t show for a free estimate. No actual work was ever performed, yet that review counts.

Negative reviews stick, and they show up on Google. If you have one bad review, it’s not just Yelp where it shows. Your Google search results display that low rating front and center, making your business look bad.

Yelp filters out genuine reviews. We’ve had long-time, loyal customers who left thoughtful 5-star reviews based on real experiences. Yelp’s algorithm hid them, so they don’t factor into our overall rating.

In short: one unfair review can outweigh years of satisfied customers. And the worst part? Yelp makes sure their site ranks high in search results, so your reputation is at stake whether you use them or not.

If you’re a business owner thinking of signing up — be warned.

I had a very disappointing experience at Tempo by Hilton Times Square during my stay (July 30 – August 4, 2025).

At check-out on August 4, I paid $205 in cash, and I have the official receipt.
Nevertheless, on August 6, the hotel made two unauthorized charges on my credit card:
• €175.61
• €174.12

After several complaints, I only received one partial refund (€172.87 credited on August 11).
The second refund is still missing, despite the fact that I have:
• Sent the official cash receipt multiple times
• Provided bank statements proving the charges
• Followed up repeatedly with both the hotel and Hilton Guest Assistance

To this day (Septeber 05, 2025), the hotel has ignored all my emails.

This behavior is unacceptable for a Hilton property.
I strongly advise future guests to avoid this hotel.

Finding a company, person, or any professional who provides high quality work in a timely manner at a fair price is praiseworthy. That’s what I got when I found Liberty Plastering and Joe Hook. Our need was to close a sizable gap between a newly installed walk-in 32x60 shower to replace an existing bathtub/shower.
Joe gave me a day and time and rang our bell ready to work when he said he would. He estimated the start to finish time to be about three hours. It was.
He covered things to prevent damage and kept the surrounding area tidy.
The work he did was outstanding in every respect? All at a very fair price. I can easily recommend Liberty Plastering andJoe Hook with confidence.

Yelp provides nothing they are only interested in revanueeven when it means retuning nothing of value

I hated to even post a 1 star credit for these Scammers . Yelp is nothing but a RIP OFF COMPANY. I have been in business for 35 years and just wanted to try them. I got a call from a Crook Named Scott that works for them and had a long conversation with him and I thought it would work. Well it did not after he got all his info from me But I needed to ask some questions I COULD NOT GET IN TOUCH WITH HIM AGAIN. I call SEVERAL TIMES NO ANSWER sent EMAILS NO REPLY. So I ended up not knowing what to do with the Account and I TRUSTED THEM WITH MY INFO. and now trying to CHARGE E FOR NOTHING AT ALL. This Company is nothing more than a THIEVING , SCAMMING , Group that cares nothing about who they deal with.

Somehow, YELP thinks there is such a thing as something *other* than male or female. Insanity. I go to write a review, and Yelp gives me "other options" other than "male" or "female". Great job Yelp, helping people further delve into their delusions. One day, you'll see the err in your ways. Until then, take this one star.

DISASTER! I cancelled my free trial before it ended and they charged me. They will not refund me now. Worst company ever! Terrible customer service! Do NOT trust them! RUN!!!

Rude nurses wastful and try to over charge and will never set foot in mclaren hospital thay postponed my surgry and are charging me extra time in the hospital rude staff late with my meal mademe 30 hr for food being a dibetic stuff like this make my surgar out of control

Never run ads with this company. I was sold on a cold call, and it was a terrible decision. They did not explain the promotional credits properly. When I attempted to cancel the ads, they continued running. They did not respond to my emails, and instead forced me to call so they could apply pressure and tell me that there was nothing they could do. They did nothing to the bill besides threaten to send it to collections unless I paid it. Absolutely terrible company. Not to mention, people that use yelp for reviews tend to be the worst kind of client

Yelp doesn’t consider good reviews from clients being applied to my business reviews. They have a policy in place that says many reviews will be filtered through as a client has to be a continuous reviewer of services. I had a client give us a bad review 1 star without the client or review being verified. This clients review is based on roof leak going into the home. We had a contract agreement with this client and had been out several times. I explained to her that this claim is only covered by her insurance due to hail damage to her roof. I also explained that the workmanship warranty I offer had expired the year prior. I offered to take care of this issue either through her insurance or through a discounted price. Customer refused any of the options I offered. I don’t want to lose any clients because of a situation like this but a contract agreement is a contract agreement and warranties are given to cover and repair. Yelp never asked for any information regarding this matter and posted a review that should have never been posted. When it comes to good reviews then Yelps guidelines come into affect and the reviews never get posted. Yelp from a business owner stand point is the worst platform for reviews. Its nothing but a bunch of male and female Karens that have nothing better to do then leave bad reviews bc they dont like the price of something or some stupid bs.

Brutal service. Their sales department keeps calling me yet they will not remove a bogus review from my listing so I reached out to some of my clients asking them for positive reviews and they've totally removed the five star reviews off my page.
This company is a sham.

I have been a really long time member of BestBuy total support. I really dont know what it covers, because when I need GEEK help, they simply dont know or cant help. Their 24/7/365 online help is absurd, you cant get past the "gatekeepers".

This company(yelp) is absolute dirtbags. if you don't want to advertise with them they will go through every review platform and reload your worst reviews to lower your rating with them. Then they will not publish your response to the reviews. I'm laughing my butt off that yelp has a one star rating. They don't deserve one star. The company needs to close their doors. Absolute trash.
