It could not have been a more…
It could not have been a more disastrous experience. I had 2 good reviews and both were removed. What Yelp calls a lead is a check-in..... "hey give me a price" what? How can I price what I can't measure, or see. No contact info, no phone number to call the "lead." These were not leads. With a lead you have a chance.
They won't show you the whole review…
They won't show you the whole review unless you view it in their app? No thanks. I see all the people they keep scamming, and i wonder why none of you have filed claims against them with the bbb or find pro Bono lawyers to file a class action lawsuit. Seems like you business owners have a pretty good claim to me.
Yelp sucks ,, beware stay away
Yelp has a computer to monitor who gives you five star reviews and after a few days it will get removed and there’s nothing the business could do however, if someone leaves you one star the computer doesn’t remove not good for businesses bad platform
Yelp is a scam
Yelp is a scam. They keep calling me to pay for improving search results. Since I am just starting out I don’t have the means to pay the fees. I worked hard and got some initial reviews and Yelp takes them away saying they were not legitimate?!? Ridiculous, Yelp is a sham and should be taken offline.
I wish I can put less than a star
I wish I can put less than a star, they literally stole money from me, I am a small business that only wants to advertise my business out there, they took advantage of me, other than selling my info for scammers, they kept charging my card hundreds of dollars
although I stopped the campaign, they charge for my logo just to be there, they charge for highlights even if my ads are inactive.
They only added to my expenses and burden, now I deleted the account but I swear to god if they charge me one more time after I deleted the account, I will sue and contact BBB, and will literally leave everything and only focus on how to take my money back + damages.
And yea one more thing, I NEVER GOT BUSINESS FROM THEM!!!

Crooked yelp
It’s funny how yelp covers half of all bad reviews about a business just to force people to download their app to see it.
Absolutely Horrible Experience
Absolutely Horrible Experience – Please Don’t Waste Your Money!
I am beyond disappointed with this company. They charged me $600 upfront, and after all that money, I didn’t get even one single client. Not one!
Their customer service was shockingly rude – instead of helping or guiding me, they spoke down to me and made me feel like my concerns didn’t matter. Every time I reached out, I was met with attitude instead of support.
This whole experience felt like a complete scam. They make big promises, take your money, and deliver zero results. It’s heartbreaking and frustrating to lose hard-earned money to a company that doesn’t care at all about their customers.
Please, if you value your money and your business, do not run ads with them. I wish someone had warned me before. I don’t want another small business owner to go through the same pain and disappointment I went through.
AVOID DISGUSTING NON-ACCESSIBLE COMPANY
AVOID. Unable to delete business page, page remains not moderated/approved by YELP however appears in search engines!. no customer service other than an international contact number - company does it best to not be accessible, whilst using your business data to make money - which you can not edit appropriately AND THEY REFUSE TO DELETE!
Registered my business, awaiting approval, my business address is my home address, YELP settings state my address is hidden, however appears in search results. my account is awaiting approval for weeks!, however my business name and address is visible on search results (totally dishonest company)- and there is no email/online chat communication, only a international telephone number.... mediocre company, unsure why they are allowed to operate in this manner, disgusting

I paid $350/ month to Yelp for almost 10 years. My reviews were good. I decided, after 10 years, not to pay them anymore as my local market no longer heavily relies on Yelp. Now that I don’t pay, my ratings have gone down from 4.7 to 4.1 without any new reviews. Hmm. Awfully sus!
Yelp is deliberately removing 1 star…
Yelp is deliberately removing 1 star negative reviews to protect the businesses and professionals who actually harm people. They are only looking for happy reviews. I have had a terrible, horrible experience with a Georgia dentist who also harmed others. I went through steps to sign up with Yelp but my truthful review was not public! News Flash there are bad dentists, real estate agents etc out there. So make the reviews public.

Fake listings
Yelp often comes up in search results but the information is always (in my experience) inaccurate and very misleading. Fake companies are listed (I recently found a listening for an equestrian centre which I happen to know is out in the countryside, and was mystified as Yelp gave an address for it in the middle of a town and their interactive map included a "streetview" showing the interior of an office building!). Yelp has been rubbish for a few years now, but I just clicked on this listing out of curiosity as I recognised the name of the equestrian centre. I don't know if someone actually went to the trouble of creating a fake Yelp listing for an existing business or if Yelp just somehow scrambled the search results - but in my experience Yelp has never given accurate results.

For 4 years you have had my business closed. Cannot talk to anyone at Yelp. To me I think they are a bunch of leeches selling your info. I curse Jeremy Stopleman and his Tribe
Yelp doesn’t protect businesses
Yelp doesn’t protect businesses — it actually works against them. A customer left us a 1-star review about a completely different company, and Yelp says it’s fine because it’s an “update” to their old 5-star review. We even provided proof and a phone call, but they still replied: “We understand it’s a different company, but we can’t dispute it. Don’t worry, people don’t look at such reviews.”
Seriously? Then what’s the point of reviews if people “don’t look” at them? What nonsense is that? Yelp seems to go out of its way to work against businesses. How? Why? No idea.
Awful experience!
As a business owner, I am extremely disappointed with Yelp. They have allowed an inaccurate review about my company to remain published, despite clear evidence that the claims are factually incorrect and misrepresent the services we provide.
When I raised this with Yelp, their response was that they “do not arbitrate disputes” — but if reviews are demonstrably untrue, they cannot possibly reflect a fair experience. Allowing false information to remain online misleads potential customers and damages a business’s reputation.
To make matters worse, Yelp will not allow me to remove my business listing from their platform. This means I have no choice but to be represented by a page I never asked for, containing a review that is untrue.
In my experience, Yelp does not protect businesses from inaccurate or misleading reviews, and the lack of control over our own business profile is deeply frustrating.
Yelp is a scam and is not worth the…
Yelp is a scam and is not worth the effort and money. What ever they try to tell you about boosting business revenue and clients is a lie. I would get nothing but residential work request and out of curiosity i would call within 20 minutes to find out the client had hired someone else earlier that week. You also get charged for these request that were already filled. I made it clear I was looking for commercial business clients only and felt they were more residential based. After convincing me there was plenty of commercial work request, I signed up. This was not the case and i did not receive one commercial business request, You can call customer service but they help you chase your tail. I asked for a refund and they were willing to as long as i stayed a customer. I declined and filled out a request for refund form but of course it was denied.
