This site needs you to purchase a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION for contacting tutors. How ridiculous is that? This is a flawed, questionable business model for a student. Like how often do you need to frequently contact multiple tutors on a monthly basis? And they don't even tell you before you do all your research -- they only tell when you've selected a teacher, typed your messages and all that stuff. Never seen something like that

I am absolutely appalled by this service they get you to join for £39.00 “UNLIMITED ACCESS Of TUTOR” but in fact you have to pay for details to be released around £25 or more. These people after me cancelling, took out £39 from my card 15/10 and notified on 16/10 of the error and will not refund my money back

This seems to be a scam – I signed up but never went forward with the lessons. They then applied £39 recurring monthly charge to my account without my authority

Just to clarify, the Student Pass is a monthly subscription that gives students access to our platform so they can contact tutors directly. It isn’t linked to any specific subject or teacher, and it renews automatically every 4 weeks unless cancelled through your dashboard.
That said, if the tutor you contacted wasn’t the right fit and no lesson took place, we can understand how disappointing that would feel.

Thanks for sharing your experience of using our site.
To connect to tutors and enquire about a lesson on our platform, you first needed to have a Student Pass subscription. As set out throughout the registration process, the cost of this pass does not contribute towards any fees due to a tutor for their lesson.
However, one of the many benefits of the pass is that, if one tutor turns out to not be the right one for you, then the chances are that there will be many others who may be just a click away via the site.

Scam - don't use
I signed up for an account as a student but never actually booked any lessons through it. I've been charged a monthly fee of £39 for three months (until I deleted my account) without even realising for services I have not used. They have no obvious way of contacting them or complaining so I think I won't get that £117 back which is disgraceful. Do not use this company.

I never found a tutor and they are…
I never found a tutor and they are taking £39 a month from me. I’ve only been able to contact a bot who keeps telling me there is no account on my email address. I don’t know how to stop the subscription.
In response to your response- I have emailed Thomas several times and get the same reply which seems automated.
The tutor that I contacted hadn’t updated her profile and had moved away.

Terrible customer support.
On 30th September I decided to accept a pupil (my first one) and saw on the website that I needed to set up a bank card to get paid. I used the live chat to ask a few questions and one of the answers was that NO money would be taken out. After waiting a long time for things to be set up, I authorised my card details to be set up and to my SHOCK money was taken out. I was then told that in order to get my money back I needed to put more in ( I used a card with a minimum amount of money in the account). I did not put any extra money back in. The chat was then ended as "resolved"-which it was not. I contacted the help centre several times,got a couple of responses,one asking to confirm the email I use as a tutor. Since that email (4th Oct) I have heard NOTHING. I have contacted my bank.
