Scam – do not sign up to anything with these people

This seems to be a scam – I signed up but never went forward with the lessons. They then applied £39 recurring monthly charge to my account without my authority

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience and completely understand your frustration.

Just to clarify, the Student Pass is a monthly subscription that gives students access to our platform so they can contact tutors directly. It isn’t linked to any specific subject or teacher, and it renews automatically every 4 weeks unless cancelled through your dashboard.

That said, if the tutor you contacted wasn’t the right fit and no lesson took place, we can understand how disappointing that would feel.

After endless dispute with Club Med who blamed me for everything that went wrong following their misleading advertising the ABTA arbitrator found against them and awarded me a substantial sum of money – still no apology from Club Med (Cefalu)

Difficult & argumentative… Better not to have signed up to Prime in the first place.

Difficult and argumentative conversation trying to cancel subscription (immediately on automatic renewal - nb no warning/reminder given in advance of automatic renewal) and get a refund. Told initially I couldn't cancel because I made a booking in the previous year. Eventually told that it would be cancelled and I would get my refund - but only as an exception and with specific permission from their financial services department - normally not permitted apparently - salesperson/CS agent refused to give their name.

No warning of renewal, difficulty cancelling - bit dodgy. Best approach would have been never to sign up to the Prime service in the first place.
