Superprof has honestly been a God sent. They make it really easy to connect with Students and give you an easy way of communicating with them.
My students also seem to love the platform, as they leave me glowing reviews and keep coming back for more lessons.
My only nitpick would be to fix the email notification system. Currently I only receive an email for the first message from a student. I don't get notified for subsequent messages until I've replied the student's previous message.

SCAM! They take your money and then nothing happens. I 'booked' a lesson with a tutor, then heard nothing more from either Superprof or the tutor about the lesson. How to log in, was it in person, on Zoom or Teams? Nothing. The time of the lesson came and went. Several hours before the lesson was due i contacted Superprof to ask the above urgent questions and got no response. I also contacted the tutor via the Superprof site, and left a text, voice message and email and got no response. I'm doubting that the tutor and the contact details are real now. Previous messages to the Superprof 'customer services' about trouble i was having accessing my messages on my dashboard were eventually replied to but with absolutely nothing helpful to say and no resolution. Save your money and your time - look elsewhere! SCAM, SCAM, SCAM

The Student Pass is a monthly subscription of £39 and it allows you to contact as many tutors as you like for a period of 30 days. You will then need to pay the tutor rate separately.
With an active Student Pass you can contact an unlimited number of tutors until you find the perfect fit. All of these details are set out in our terms of use, the payment page where you entered your details and across our site.
That said, if you've not been able to organise lessons with a tutor due to fault on their part, then we would welcome the chance to look into that for you.

Be warned!
Be warned! They somehow sign you up to direct debit without you realising and take money every month, and then don’t respond when you message them asking to cancel and refund! I wouldn’t have gone on the site if I’d known.

scam operation
This website is a scam operation - you can read online the thousands of reports and negative press
Unfortunately I didn’t read before using
I was prompted to pay this amount as it was supposed to be applied against the money owed to a coach I was booking for a session
To my surprise - the coach never replied, and I found myself having subscribed to a monthly subscription without ever having been communicated so, or requested so
After that, I started to be contacted by a number of spurious accounts via a same standard message, and none of those seemingly more legitimate profiles ever returned a single one of my messages. After a few days - I started to be contacted by what looked like being sex workers
I searched this company online and realised thousands of people had the exact same experience
I tried to contact them multiple times - including a “live chat” which is just a pre-set series of options and messages that lead nowhere, and the company is entirely non-responsive
This is scam operation, which I have also reported to authorities

To connect to tutors and enquire about a lesson on our platform, you first needed to have a Student Pass subscription. As set out throughout the registration process, the cost of this pass does not contribute towards any fees due to a tutor for their lesson.
However, one of the many benefits of the pass is that, if one tutor turns out to not be the right one for you, then the chances are that there will be many others who may be just a click away via the site.

Misleading website that charges you £39…
Misleading website that charges you £39 when you make connection to a tutor. It's says first lesson is free, which it is not.
There should be better standards for websites like this...if you advertise first lesson is free then it should be..not mislead you into entering your bank details, charging you and then claim the first tutor lesson is free but introduction is £39 which is monthly!! SCAM.

All marketing and no substance. Appalling experience from beginning to end
Appalling experience from beginning to end. Firstly shelling out payment before even getting any value out of the thing.
Logging in is an ordeal, waiting around for codes to be sent via SMS or email. If one doesn't work you can't try the other without going into a death loop. The website is painfully slow, they clearly need to work on server performance.
The interactions with tutors is painfully clunky. Should you book an appointment? Should you contact them on WhatsApp? I went round and round chasing multiple tutors with whom it proved impossible to actually arrange a time. I am angry that I have paid money and got zero, nothing, zilch out of it. All marketing and no substance. Really really terrible.

Beware - Free first lesson isn't free
I engaged an IT specialist to come to my home to help train me with some work stuff I was having difficulty with. The first lesson was free as agreed but we decided not to go ahead because our schedules didn't align. Two weeks later, Superprof took money from my account which was for the free lesson. I've contacted them four times to speak to them about this. No reply from any of my emails.

This company is so sly
This company is so sly. Would not recommend. They make it seem like you will not be charged until you can contact and agree on a session with a teacher. But as soon as you put you details in you get charged before you get a chance to do anything.
They also give you options for teachers that are apparently available but when you message them they are have no availability for weeks.
The company itself does not respond to emails in good time either. The did not respond at all to my first request had to request again.
They also get you by saying first lesson free. But you have to pay 39 just to contact someone even if you do not go with that person.
It is not good for the teacher either as despite having the students pay £39 just to be able to message someone. They also take 10% of the teachers fee.
This leads me to believe this company only cares about making to most money for themselves which would be fine if the service was good for all, which in my opinion, I do not believe it to be.

Great students. Buggy website
I've had a couple of students from super prof and they have been brilliant. I do find the website to be a bit buggy though and needs improving. When trying to arrange a class, there was some delays and the requests weren't going through properly.
Also not a fan of the fact you need to earn a certain amount before pay out, that's really unacceptable. If I've worked for an hour and the client has paid me, I should be entitled to access that money straight away. And not have it locked until I've earnt the minimum to withdraw
