In honesty this site changed my life, connecting me with students that became lifelong connections. It’s rewarding to empower others with skills and knowledge.
With premium you get increased visibility and the tutor earns every penny of the hourly fee. Any time I have had an issue they have provided incredibly timely, professional and ethical support. It’s available around the world, and I’m always recommending to my friends, family and colleagues to share their skills and passion.

Start investing ASAP!

I highly recommend. I’d say it changed my life and gave me confidence in investing. I just wish I’d started much sooner! We need to educate children of the power of investing.

WARNING. False/misleading advertisement (£10 trial)


WARNING
JD offer advertise 1 month for £10. Like it’s a trial to test out whether the gym is a good fit.

But it is really 2 months for £45.

They essentially force you to set up to direct debit for the following month. After they have taken the £10.

They say “no contract” but they require 30 days to cancel any direct debit.

I cancelled the direct debit and a day later they blocked my account so I could no longer trial the gym.

Overall really shady treatment of new customers.

When you start out by tricking potential new clients it doesn’t give the best impression.

Customer service is also awful. Make it so hard to contact them. Ignoring multiple emails. Hours waiting on the phone & when you finally get through to them, they couldn’t care less...

Shady rules for sellers


Something has come to light in Vinted’s practices/protocols that doesn’t give me the confidence in them with future sales.

In this case I sold an item (bike pannier) that got a tiny little hole in during the shipment process, the buyer declared this and Vinted immediately refunded them and told them they don’t need to return it back to me without even asking.

I queried this, suggesting at least I can get a refund from the courier (yodel) for the damages.

After Vinted finally responded weeks later, I felt like they did not care. The customer service brushed it off and said that they’re not gonna do anything.

With eBay, it is a requirement to return any damaged goods before they get a refund.

It makes me concerned that future users could start to intentionally damage expensive items so that they get to keep them for free!

Review of Shaw Academy

Strong avoid!!

Please beware and do not sign up to any trial.

They take money without consent and there is no way to contact them..

I messaged over 20 times from different channels.

To rub salt in the wound, the courses are really low quality..


UPDATE: Shaw academy reached out below for me to contact them, but later said the money they took from me is non refundable, and they can only offer me 3 months access to their courses.

I can't believe this kind of business/customer service is in existence! The worst part is I feel powerless..

Never send items with FedEx from Mexico (possibly anywhere else in the world) to Costa Rica !!

So I left a few personal electronics with a friend in Mexico before I continued my travels through Central America.
My friend sent them with FedEx for a charge of around 1.5k pesos $75 USD.
They never actually delivered the package to my other friends forwarding address.
They held it hostage at some customs office in a random part of San Jose and they assigned import charges on each item with daily storage charges totalling around $200..
They said the processing would take 3 days and id have to provide original purchase receipts for each item..
I was just passing through Costa Rica so didn’t have 3 days.
They gave me the option of destroying it or returning it to Mexico for another $100
Shear madness…
