Warning - stay away from PLUTUS
Started on the Plutus platform 4 years ago. Was able to 'earn' a nice amount of PLU with cashback with the Plutus card.
Have always been a loyal customer with a payed subscription, which I consider as an investment in the Plutus platform.
Along the road, several 'required' policy changes were made by Plutus. Ofcourse, all in the best interest of their customers. At least, so they say.. Every change had an impact on qualifying for rewards or services often resulting in losing them and made you invest more to ensure you got to the level of being qualified again.
This proces kept on repeating itself until it took extreme forms. A couple of examples:
- Users were tempted with yearly subscriptions and metal cards to qualify for extra benefits which got stripped away not much later. Left a lot of customers invested in the platform but who lost what they invested for.
- Moving your PLU into self custody wallets would mark you as a violator and thread to the system, which resultded in penalties sometimes including closing your account.
Several months later, it was new policy all users started using self custody.
- Users were tempted with new features to swap PLU for gift cards which was supposed to work with 'dynamic fees'. Shortly after release, these dynamic fees appeared to be static and were up to 80%(!) of the giftcard value.
- 'New plans and features for 2025' were presented to become available. What Plutus did not tell this would involve a new set of policies to make you pay, sometimes more, for services that were supposed to be free.
These policies were forced in the form of new user agreements which would result in termination of your account within 30 days in case you would not accept these.
Not accepting would also block you out of the system, losing access to your PLU investment.
- New policies required to move your 'internal PLU' stack to selfcustody, otherwise losing your reward level and it's benefits for which I had worked several years.
On top of this, moving your 'internal PLU' would either require you to invest in more PLU to 'qualify' for a free payout or to make you pay 33%(!!) fee to withdraw your PLU.
I have many more examples, but I will save you the time of reading them all.
Crypto is all about creating a community to make a project a succes. In the first year, improvement feedback to Plutus was open on forums and was being discussed. Over the years, Plutus got it's ambassadors to silence any negative feedback on forums and even had users removed for asking valid questions.
I got to the point where there was a forum created on a platform, called; 'Plutus uncensored'.
To me, silencing your loyal paying customers is the nail in the coffin.
I have been a long time supporter of Plutus, but at this moment I feel betrayed by Plutus and feel ashamed I have ever supported this company.
I do want to thank Plutus for a very expensive, frustrating, tiring and emotional but VALUABLE lesson; 'Stay away from PLUTUS'.

Would give these scammers 0 stars if I could. They claim to be a rewards company, then when you want the rewards you have to pay a 33% fee just to attain them. Plutus price is crashing, so now they've decreased the perk value payout for say a £10 value perk should get you 6.4 plu (current value of plu
0.64) how much plu did they give me? Just 1 plu. So all their perks are meaningless when they just change the rules to suit them wherever it's an official change, or they will just blame it on a technical glitch, everything they do is to benefit them, while they rip you off in the long run. I would avoid this company and save your money. A crack head is more trustworthy with your money than Plutus so please stay clear.

Complicated, misleading, untrustworthy
Plutus used to be straight forward cashback. Now it’s opaque ‚rewards‘ with crazy fees. Forget the percentages they advertise. They are masters of false advertising and promotions, constantly at edge of being sued by disgruntled customers. Plutus manages to loose even their most loyal customers. If you value peace of mind, Plutus is a no go. It’s not a serious company.

Awful, awful experience. Kudos to the CEO to have devised a legit way to scam people out of their money. They have not create something to bring value to customer, but to take the maximum value through vicious techniques as changing rules almost every month to suspend, delay, deny, cancel or reduce what they promised pretending they are improving rules. The value of PLU has been going down steadily while they make every effort possible to make the withdrawal of the token absurdly costly.

I,ve been a customer of Plutus since the beginning. Used the Cashback once where I sold my Plutus for €, almost 2 years ago, and it worked out fine, back when the rates where seen and set by user supply/demand. And then, they went into what they called “ major changes for better service and usage”. Which they advertised as “the next step”. That step made impossible to get any cashback for 6 months at the time, but didn’t make impossible for you to keep spending your money through Plutus. 6 months turned into 12, 12 into 18 and now here we are. Tried to redeem my PLU several times, one of them the PLU was actually take out of the account but the € where never sent to me!

Reached out, took 3 mails from me until things were sorted. PLU was given back, not the money. When I tried it again, the amount of PLU was lower than the previous attempt, despite the PLU amount I was exchanging was the same.

Reached out again “How can the same amount of PLU now be worth half of what it was? Specially when my total € to receive for my total PLU is 350€, and it only says that I will get 150€ for ALL of it? Keep in mind that for 50% of my PLU at my first attempt was going to give me back 265€ when exchanged “. Guess what happens, no one replied to my 4 e mails regarding this AND they took out the full amount of € you have on hold to exchange for your PLU from your HUB!

So now, when I try to trade ANY PLU for any €, it just says unexpected error. No changing fee, no conversion rate.
Punchline is that I paid for the yearly subscription.

Avoid like the plague
I don’t write Trustpilot reviews. I written about 7 in total. But sometimes you feel so strongly about something you have to do what you can.
For many many years I was a keen supporter of Plutus, buying their PLU token and religiously claiming every ‘Perk’ reward over circa 3 years. But with the ever decreasing value of the PLU token and the recent imposed necessity to withdraw tokens to an external wallet and their exorbitant supposed ‘withdrawal fee’ (costing approx 32% of the value of the withdrawal), I have come to the uncomfortable and sudden realisation that they have been taking me for a complete idiot mug for years. By my reckoning I have lost ballpark £3,920 (invested circa £4,800 in PLU tokens which are today worth circa £870).
Such a shame that such a good concept is used with short term customer manipulation mentality. They could have done really well if they had simply played the long game giving their client’s actual benefit. Instead they use smoke and mirrors to trap them to extort more money from them.
They are extremely devious and come up with seemingly endless varieties of supposedly Reward schemes, but in reality these are just means of extracting money from you.
I don’t regard myself as a fool and I am highly qualified professional. But Plutus certainly managed to take me for a complete imbecile of me. An organisation I had faith in and trusted for so long has been rogering me all the time for years and obviously laughing behind my back at what an idiot I have been.
Extreme risk. Avoid like the plague.

Over a year of Plutus experience and now leaving
When I started out with Plutus they promised cashback. This has since been redubbed to ''''rewards'''' at a certain % depending on your investment. However this % is a falsehood as you have to pay an absurd fee (33%) to get access to these rewards. On top of that they have changed the Terms & Conditions more times than I can count, and the software crashes on many occassions as well - enough for me to get out at a big financial hit. But I rather take the hit than stay with this product any longer. They just don't work and will only cost you money!!
EDIT: The plutus replies to reviews just make my blood boil. They are full of lies and put any blame outside themselves. Sorry Plutus you operate a shit operation and I won't change my mind. You've had your 2nd, 3rd, Xth chance!

First up: I've been with Plutus about 3 years, and to date lost about £4,000 on this ponzi scheme masquerading as a cashback card.
The premise is you buy their token, and holding a certain amount gives you access to rewards... except soon they added monthly subscription models too (30/ month) to be able to get those rewards... except then they massively reduced the spending limits from 20k/month to 1k/month... and then they changed all the tiers and reshuffled... and then a few months later they introduced some other type of con.... and so I thought enough is enough.. but wait.. all that cashback, if I actually want to withdraw it now (which takes a long time is a fraught with delays) I have to PAY 33% IN CASH to withdraw it... yes, that's right, they've slashed every loyal member's cashback by a third, but don't even want it, so they're just taking cash so you can get their worthless tokens... which are dropping by the day... meaning, yes, they have won. All the cashback I've earned over the last few years, they basically get away with not paying, as I'm not giving these scam artists another penny.
STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY!!!

I've been a subscriber for a few years
I've been a subscriber for a few years. I tried to withdraw some PLU (over 6 weeks ago) and it never arrived. I was charged €75 for the withdrawal.
They won't respond to support tickets, won't complete the withdrawal, and won't refund me. They agreed there's an issue but have gone silent on me. Avoid as your money isn't safe.

Disclaimer: I have (until now) been a loyal customer for three years and have never once withdrawn or gone against their ever moving goal-posts of what constitutes "a violator" of terms that they use to renege on obligations.
Plutus has been circling the drain for quite some time at this point and it's a non-stop barrage of painfully poor management & communication, open hostility and totally tone-deaf changes, widespread censorship to the point alternative communities have had to spring up to be able to discuss and air grievances without being silenced.
The project is rotten to its core with leadership that have no clue what they're doing, moderators/"ambassadors" that have no clue what's happening and having to constantly u-turn and openly and unashamedly abusing their customers.
Their latest stunt (of MANY) involves forcing withdrawals to retain existing benefits, unless you're "lucky" enough to be one of their golden children given "free" withdrawals of funds you've already EARNED fair and square via monthly subscriptions AND paid-for reward cap increases (which was yet another stunt they pulled last year) out of the blue with a few weeks notice.
This is all while simultaneously locking crypto withdrawals behind a 33% (fiat only) withdrawal fee airing this as a "feature" for "sustainability". Nevermind the fact you have to have a paid monthly subscription fee to even have the privilege to PAY the 33% for withdrawal. This is extortion, holding funds for ransom plain and simple, and is a textbook pig butchering scam - I don't care how they spin it.
The absolute kick in the jewels is them subsequently holding "competitions" for showing off happy screenshots bragging about their withdrawals; they could not be more out of touch and deluded if they tried. The complete lack of self-awareness is astounding and this is well beyond abusive.
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT trust them with your money. They will milk you dry, if they don't get completely buried under lawsuits first. They are not worth the deep and recurring levels of stress they will give you trying to track their convoluted and nonsensical changes

Using the card for 2 years, scam
Using the card for 2 years, spent almost 100K with the card, I'm at loss with the staking and continuous requests to upgrade your reward level buying more PLU. Now we are at the end game, they literally refused to withdraw even to those who followed all the rules.
While they dumped more then 750K PLU for almost 2.7Millions $ from the dev pool.
This is clearly a scam and a Ponzi scheme, when they know you'll just get rewards from now on, they will simply don't let you payout.
All the positive reviews you can read here have been paid to ambassadors.
Stay away, remember that YOU ARE THE LIQUIDITY.

They keep changing the rules, you basically keep putting money in and are never able to take it out. There's red tape everywhere. I closed my account. I have lost hundreds of pounds. Honestly, they should not be able to run. The value of $plu keeps tanking as well.
So answering the reply below 👇🏽 £10 value my foot. It costs £9 to redeem a voucher worth £10. It's laughable. This really is a ponzy scheme, they blocked me on X as well.
"Don't buy it, earn it"?? We had to buy it in order to stake it for the rewards! Told you, rules change as they please.

All looks good until you try to get your promised rewards
I've been using this card for over 2 years, paying monthly subscription and collecting their PLU token rewards.
Recently I wanted to withdraw my collected PLU from the app and they want to charge me a 180 EUR (!!!) fee! I didn't want to believe, but then asked around in their socials and this huge fee is really the case!
This reminds me of some scam "companies" which lure you in with a promise of high rewards and then when you try to withdraw they just charge you with enormous fees. It seems that sadly Plutus started to apply the same or similar shady tactics...
I thought Plutus was a decent and reliable company, but now I really doubt that. I feel deceived and I'm going to close my account ASAP.
My recommendation if you're considering joining them: AVOID!!!

It is a scam
It is a scam. They continuously changes their policies of usage and they are scammers. They allow you to exchange Plu for gift cards but they don’t work. They don’t reimburse you the money for a service you paid for but that does not work. I had to open a claim to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). I encourage all the users to contact FOS. We need to do our best to make Plutus shout down!

Very dissapointed
This company is very unpredictable. They keep changing the terms and rules. It is impossible to keep up with all the changes. For me each of these changes in the last 6 months made the product worse and worse. The product is not what they were promoting on their website back then when I signed up.
Because of this I can't recommend this product to anyone anymore.

JUST DONT!
I really like Plutus at the start, great idea of earning crypto instead of buying it! Great idea, but my honest opinion DON’T DO IT. Here’s a few reasons why:
You have to pay a subscription of at least £6.99 to £19.99 to even earn rewards or transfer the crypto. On the £6.99 plan you only get rewards on the first £250 spent, nothing after this.
Never ending rule changes, terms and conditions change all the time and very difficult to use the PLU.
Received an email to state I HAVE TO TRANSFER my PLU to external wallet to continue earning CRY, OK, so as suggested by Plutus, I transferred my PLU to MetaMask, and Plutus charged me £52.04 which is 33% of the valve being transferred, this is robbery!! This makes the valve of the PLU very poor!!!
Transfer your PLU out of the external wallet and then they drop your reward level, so as long as you don’t use the PLU, your OK.
Want a gift card, this sounds great, 1 PLU give you £10 gift voucher BUT £5 in fees for each voucher so you only get £5 in valve.
Spent over £6,000 in normal card transactions in shops etc over the last few years. Plutus subscription at £6.99 a month x24 = total spend £6,167.76 approx over 2 years. Left with just above £190. Subscription cost for 2 years is £167.76, minus £52 fee to transfer PLU makes it minus £30. I do have some pending PLU so might not be a minus. Just not worth it!
Just don’t bother, its not worth it, they make everything complicated, costs too much to transfer, fee at 33% of what you moving and charge you at least £7 a month.
Have a look at other reviews, You Tube reviews etc, was good, not anymore Don’t do it!!

DO NOT USE! They do not let you withdraw your money!!!! They force you to “spend it” in only accepted merchants + you are forced to pay a subscription to do so. DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR MONEY!
