Setting a New Standard in Customer Ignorance!
Two months and still waiting for my refund. Maybe the calendar year has changed in the meantime, maybe a new generation of customers has grown up – also waiting for a response. Plutus.io clearly operates on the principle of "let’s close the account and see what happens… or rather, let’s pretend nothing happened."
I assume their customer support communicates via smoke signals or carrier pigeons because I can't explain why their response time rivals that of medieval postal services. If anyone has discovered a gateway to communication with Plutus.io, please let me know. I’d love to find out where my money is – maybe somewhere lost between dimensions? :D

I signed up with genuine intentions to use this platform. Spent over £10k+ over a year or more hoping for some payback that was mentioned in their proposition. I got nothing, absolutely nothing in the end. They closed my account and took back the very little PLU I had earned. In contrary to what they might say - people have been taking themselves off this platform in their droves. I would put this company in the scam bracket, the useless bracket and the waste of time bracket. Avoid. Your time is more precious and you will not get it back.

Plutus stole my money
I closed my account with Plutus, but there was still some money left in my account. Now, Plutus is keeping the money and refusing to return it. I've been trying to get them to return it to me, but they just don't care. I could only assume they need the money themselves because they're close to being bankrupt.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
EDIT: The reply from Plutus is misleading. They're telling me to contact support, but I've already done that multiple times. Support is unwilling to help. Instead of responding to reviews, they should spend time on returning the money they owe to people.

I can't tell you how much discord has…
I can't tell you how much discord has been sown in me by this service. I *loved* the idea initially and really enjoyed using it for a while but for a few reasons I now actually hate them.
My first reason...I built up a decent PLU balance. But thought I'd take a couple of month's break from paying (this was when they had a free plan) so I cancelled my paid plan. Then thought oh I want to withdraw the PLU I've accrued.
"You can't withdraw PLU without being on a paid plan".
Ok so I paid into their service and I accumulated my rewards. But the day after I stopped paying my rewards become inaccessible. I find this a really punitive rule. They're *my* rewards!!
Asked support and I just got a robotic reply.
Second is... they've just closed my account recently. Fair enough I hadn't seen their emails reminding me of it (they did remind me). But the reason they're closing is because the free plan has gone (see my third reason here also). OK, so **again** I've just lost access to the PLU I've accumulated. I've just asked support if I will be able to access the tokens I had in the account now the account is closed. Not holding out hope.
My third reason is... exactly as above with removing the free plan, they overhaul the rules of their system with ridiculous frequency. It's unreal. They are constantly constantly rearranging the rules of the game. It's dizzying.
As above, I *loved* the idea of this and wanted it to succeed. Now I just feel like a sourpuss towards them. They destroy good will.
Maybe finally the thing to realise is: the game this company is playing is actually not winnable. They're offering rewards in a crypto currency which has no other value or use case. So it's only *use* is to get sold to realise rewards, meaning of course it's value will keep tanking
I think the guy running it seems enormously intelligent, but I think the whole service is trying to square a circle.

They simply reduced the rewards by 90%.
Instead of getting (for example) 10 Plu for each perk you spend, you now get 1 PLU. Thats a reduction of 90% !!!!
Same applies to all the other buys you do.

After years and years of getting Pluton now I am unable due to a generic error to swap them into euros!!!

Where do I begin? Years ago I actually put a good review on here for Plutus, not now. This company has changed so much the last few years, it's almost like they wanted to lose their customers. Too many changes where you are punished for not upgrading your levels, terrible communication, customer support that can't or won't answer your questions. Unfair costs and fees that pop up all the time. Presently the token price is 71 cents, and dropping every day. There is just no value in this anymore, a real shame. Thousands of people lost money through this company, not just me. Just look at the trustpilot reviews for this year, not one positive review. Not one.
And if you see a reply from Plutus after this review about "if you have any problems please contact customer support" I did, seven times this year and it was useless. It takes weeks to get a reply and wasn't helpful at all. It used to takes days and if you asked a question you would get an answer. Now it's a copy and pasted reply directing you to the FAQs which of course has the smallprint.
Somebody made money through Plutus, just not loyal customers. If you are one of the thousands who lost, you are not alone, am sending you all an air hug.
****They replied to this review***** Exactly how I thought they would. Pointless trying to contact support. So many people are taking them to court trying to get some money back. This company is so shady they have been on Coffeezilla, for anybody that doesn't know, he is an investigator of frauds, scams etc on Youtube with a massive viewership. Watch his videos and heed his warnings. This company wants to expand into the USA, how on earth can they do that with their reputation? Shameless, awful company.

Zero help, many false claims and promises and it only costs money
I am a paying member for years now. Also bought PLU for more cashback.
- PLU is worth now <10% of the price I bought.
- They constantly change the rules.
- Claims are incorrect.
I asked for help, as the website did not allow me to transfer PLU for free (which they forced members to do) even though I was eligible. In 1 click, without any overview of costs whatsoever I was charged 106 euro... Waiting for weeks now; they said they would fix it and prioritise my case (#344874)
Lost my trust in them... Will notify the Financial Conduct Authority and/or Financial Ombudsman Service next week.

I never took out PLU. I was a stacker.
Was punished at the end, nonetheless. 33% fee to withdraw. Is that fair?
Don't talk to me about the bit where my friend tried to send me 20 quid to pay me back, causing the account to lock. Twice.
Cancelled subscription.

It's a scam. Spend 1014 euro during two years via subscription and token buy to have more perks. One year I had something like 3 perks a d one year I had 7 perks. I spend a lot via card on 3% Cashback. Now I have only 160 euro on external wallet and internal worthless tokens because 33% withdrawal fee upfront in euro and I can sell only for peanuts in app swap to euro where is 50% fee + 20 euro limit per month. Crazy. I am stucked and fked.

This mean you will get ONE PLU token!
+ 3% spending limited to 250 EUR which is 7.5 EURo BUT pegged to 10 EUR 1 PLU
So you will receive 1.75 PLU per month in exchange of your 6.99 EUR + they scam you on forex as a bonus.
So right now the price is 1.75 USD ON EXCHANGE.
But you must pay 33% fee UPFRON in EURO!
So you will pay sub + fee = 7.56 EURo and you get 1.75 USD. If you manage to hord more tokens and if you manage to pay another 5-25 USD in ETH gas fee you can transfer it to coinbase where you can sell it right now 1 PLU 1 USD.
SCAM
0% fees on giftcards are also LIE. Yes you can find there some scam cards like plant a tree without fee but it is joke. If you find Amazon gift card or anything useful you will pay 8-9 euro + 1 euro fee + 1 plu which is RIGHT NOW 10-11 euro in exchange for useful card.
Yes you can find there sometimes 7-9 euro fees also so you can make something like 1 to 3 euro on two gift cards per month.
Pure SCAM
Regarding to reaction to PlutusSwap: Bla bla bla another pure scam with 50% "fees". And it is also limited only because they are afraid of token price going to 0 because every customer right now is just angry and leaving these scammers.
EDIT: Last week I also noticed that I got scammed for EVERYTHING which I "collected" during all that time. Because the fuckheads simply turned off at least SWAP with 50% fees for NO SUB accounts and my subscription ended and I will NOT send them ANY more EUR.

They can't be trusted even when we ask them to close the account.
More than a month ago I requested for my Plutus account to be closed and the remaining funds to be sent back to the source account. After several weeks of waiting and complaining, they finally closed the account but they didn't take care of the funds. This process has been dragged on for a while now and I'm still waiting for the funds to be transferred back. I tried to involve Modulr but they won't do anything either. Their support is a nightmare.

The whole idea of Plutus is to scam money from their customer base. Forcing people to upgrade paid subscriptions constantly, then retrospectivity changing their terms and conditions. Their whole marketing strategy is a lie, there is no 3% back, they value PLU in their world at £10 which has no bearing on reality. The gifts cards introduced are a joke, limited in choice and with 80% fees. Their travel offers are also a joke and far more expensive than booking directly. Avoid

A failed project, potentially the worst "crypto rewards/cashback" product on the market.
Two years ago I'd leave around 4 stars here, but after recent changes I have to leave one star and warn you against this service. This is not something I do lightly, this is my only such negative review, but Plutus as a service became truly terrible.
Plutus, since it's inception was one of the "crypto cashback" cards. It's cashback rate was pretty high, even without any paid subscription. Hence people used it and were happy. There was a good sentiment, since product seemed revolutionary in some ways, promising more utility with time for their crypto token.
In 2023 it already started worsening, as promises were not being kept and token, given as the crypto cashback reward was starting to both run low and to loose market value slowly, but steadily.
2024 marked big, controversial changes and a big drop of PLU token value. There were new T&Cs applied retroactively, a wave of censorship within company related community channels (Reddit, Discord), high fees introduced - 33% to withdraw the token, 50% when swapping it in the app. Newly introduced utilities turned out to be a disaster - hotel booking cashback with a small property base and cashback amounts same or worse than free competition, cards limited to 2 per person (not per month, limit of 2 was indefinite), miles with only one airline program and with a saving lower than expected.
Still in 2024 some crypto rewards could be made and provide some profit to users who spend bigger amounts and who earlier unlocked spending limits by paying PLU.
In 2025, after PLU earning rate within the app was anchored to a fixed amount of £\€10 it is close to impossible to get any profit by using the app. Base rate of rewards would be less than 0.3% now (due to low value of PLU token, which is taken into account when redeeming rewards via Swap and withdrawal to ext wallet), that is if you would want to redeem these via withdrawal to an external wallet (in which case after paying the fee you gain 0.2%) or if you want to swap it for FIAT within the app (where after 50% fee the rewards rate would be 0.15%). This is not counting the fact that in order to gain PLU you need to pay a monthly/yearly subscription and that how much PLU you earn is limited based on your subscription and stack levels. When we take this into consideration - you realise that using Plutus is bringing loss to its users (as for most it's impossible to accumulate more in rewards than what they would pay in fees).
Furthermore caution is needed due to recent T&C changes which say that Plutus won't give any refunds and that it can restrict or even close account for leaving negative comments about it (or for example reviews like that one - they state any information left on internet which may hurt Plutus...Very questionable).
Support quality worsened as well, I had to wait for months to get an answer to my question.
Also - you need to note that in order to get more perks within Plutus you would have to buy and stack a token - PLU which was loosing value constantly for the last few years, regardless of whole crypto market condition. Hence investment in it bears additional, high risk.
In my opinion it is one of the worst if not the worst product of this kind on the market.
It is in process of a transition, leadership promising changes, but these don't look good in my opinion. There are supposed to be two different PLU tokens associated with the project soon and new utilities (cashback, discount on merchandise). Also 2 per person cap on the cards is supposed to be taken off, but cards will now become a 10% discount bought with PLU.
This doesn't seem to be something able to compete with cashback websites offerings, especially since these offer more options without the need to pay for a subscription. Also a lot has been promised in the past and promises were not kept, or kept partially - like with gift cards. Gift cards were supposed to bring much more value as per initial promises.
So while there is some glimmer of hope and probability that company will improve, at the moment it deserves 1 star and for consumers to treat it with utmost caution. Until further, better changes will be introduced I'd urge to not spend any money on the project, as it will be most likely money lost.
If you're interested in Plutus - either look at the competition or observe the project from afar, if it'll improve (it might as well go bankrupt, we never know)
