I've had a Starling personal bank…

I've had a Starling personal bank account for quite a few years now and never had any issue with them.
Starling state “The bank built for you” but this is not the case now.
Starling announced they were withdrawing the interest on the current accounts, OK so I will open a savings account so not a major issue.
Introducing the Easy Saver, Our new easy-access savings account, paying 4% AER, 3.92% gross variable. Great, applied for the account to be told I couldn't have one because of "Banking Constraints". Now, I have never had any negative issues, such as missed payments, not in debt, scores are at max with credit agencies, I’m not a new customer for Starling, UK resident since birth etc.
The annoying issue is they don’t tell you why. It’s a savings account so you cant go overdrawn. Didn’t even bother asking why as it would be the standard reply of keeping customers safe from potential fraud and they can't share specific details about how we decline applications. But if you Google this, you will see its happening to a lot of Starling customer so something is wrong somewhere. Gone with another Bank with no issues.

Not saying Starling are really bad, but forced away as I can’t put my savings anywhere!

JUST DONT!

I really like Plutus at the start, great idea of earning crypto instead of buying it! Great idea, but my honest opinion DON’T DO IT. Here’s a few reasons why:

You have to pay a subscription of at least £6.99 to £19.99 to even earn rewards or transfer the crypto. On the £6.99 plan you only get rewards on the first £250 spent, nothing after this.

Never ending rule changes, terms and conditions change all the time and very difficult to use the PLU.

Received an email to state I HAVE TO TRANSFER my PLU to external wallet to continue earning CRY, OK, so as suggested by Plutus, I transferred my PLU to MetaMask, and Plutus charged me £52.04 which is 33% of the valve being transferred, this is robbery!! This makes the valve of the PLU very poor!!!

Transfer your PLU out of the external wallet and then they drop your reward level, so as long as you don’t use the PLU, your OK.

Want a gift card, this sounds great, 1 PLU give you £10 gift voucher BUT £5 in fees for each voucher so you only get £5 in valve.

Spent over £6,000 in normal card transactions in shops etc over the last few years. Plutus subscription at £6.99 a month x24 = total spend £6,167.76 approx over 2 years. Left with just above £190. Subscription cost for 2 years is £167.76, minus £52 fee to transfer PLU makes it minus £30. I do have some pending PLU so might not be a minus. Just not worth it!

Just don’t bother, its not worth it, they make everything complicated, costs too much to transfer, fee at 33% of what you moving and charge you at least £7 a month.

Have a look at other reviews, You Tube reviews etc, was good, not anymore Don’t do it!!

Good unless you need Help!

ID Mobile is great if you don't have any issues!! You can't ring them or speak to anyone. You can chat on live chat once you get past the chat bot which can be a challenge, started off by saying they are too busy and try another time. Tried a bit later and it said I'm in a queue and will be 132 minutes!! Got through to someone and asked them a question about my bill and 15 minutes later they said is that everything. They didn't answer my question!!! I said no, you didn't answer the question to which they said, your through to sales and I need customer service. Your Chat bot put me through. Transferred to another queue, 45 minutes this time, gave up and leaving ID now as luckily I'm 1 month away from the end of the contract but would have stayed. Good unless you need Help!

Good, but can't rely online

I use Toolstation quite a bit but mainly buy instore. A few times now I've ordered things online generally because they don't have it in store. The last two times, including this time, the items have arrived a day late. Our boiler broke down when it was freezing outside, so I ordered a fan heater as they didn't have any in the nearest 5 stores. Ordered on next working day, but didn't turn up next day but a day later, so 2 working days. The first time it happened, I contacted Toolstation but they just said it had been delayed in the warehouse and nothing they can do, got the impression they just didn't care. Didn't bother contacting them this time. I won't be ordering online again as you can't rely on delivery.

Great Card, VERY poor customer service

Curve is a great idea and been with them for a long while now. Using Curve Black. I love the idea of having all my cards in one account/card. When you have issues, your on your own!! My card always declines at McDonalds, the Curve card declines when I use a certain credit card, says card limit reached but the card doesn't have any balance on it and I have a big credit limit. All Curve said was I've reached the card limit, which wasn't right. Had an issue recently, card declined once again, but Curve took the payment from my card. Curve just kept saying it will drop off in 5 days, but it didn't. Took me other 2-3 weeks to get the money back, in the end my card company refunded it not Curve! If you run into any problems or if you need customer service, your on your own!!! Takes ages to get a reply and they don't seem to understand. Great card, very very poor customer service!

11 days for delivery, posted from abroad, no customer service

Ordered a jacket from Jack & Jones website on the 16th April. Got a dispatch notification on the 18th April and the item finally arrived on the 27th April, that's 11 days from my order!! I emailed customer services on the 24th April to ask where my order was as the tracking number wasn't working and received an automatic email with a case number: 3502751 stating my email is important to them and they will reply in 3 days. Still no reply, although since then I've received the item but that was 4 days after the email and still no reply. I think you can judge a company by how they deal with questions or queries to an order and I just didn't get any response! What would happen if the parcel never turned up? Also, I was not aware that the goods come from abroad. I'm sure they will reply to this comment to say its states this on the website, if it does, its not clear!! Other customers have said the same thing. I won't be ordering again, takes too long to receive items and no one replies to emails, but they find the time to post a reply comment on here!!

Wrong information on the website

I think you can only judge how good a company is when things go wrong. Things will always go wrong from time to time, it just happens. A good company can deal with the issue and resolve it fast and efficiently. Unfortunately, Affordable Mobiles were terrible! Ordered a Oneplus Pro 256GB with 12GB Ram. Arrived on a Thursday but I notice they sent me the wrong model; they sent a 128GB version with 8GB RAM. Didn’t open the phone box or use the SIM, called them straight away and they said they will ring me back. Rang them Friday and again they didn’t call back. Spent an hour on the phone to them on Saturday and it appears the information was wrong on the website. Suddenly the website was updated, but luckily I took screen shots of what I ordered but they also admitted it was wrong. How many more people ordered this phone and was sent a model which was £100 less in valve!! As I paid £194.99 upfront for the mobile, I said refund £100 for the phone and I will keep it, but they said no and they will try and get me the model I ordered. Still no reply from them on Monday, so rang them again and asked for someone to let me know what’s happening. No one called back again, but finally on the Tuesday they rang back and said I can keep the phone and they will give me £20 as a good will gesture or I can send the mobile back. They sent me a mobile which was £100 cheaper so not prepared to except £20. So sent it back which I had to pay £10 for Royal Mail special delivery which they refunded me a week later. I’ve spent at least 2 hours on the phone to them over 4 days and they never ring back, only once. I’ve done all the chasing. Interesting though, the wrong model was listed on the website which is the reason I received the wrong phone, so many more customer would have received the wrong model. I wonder how many people noticed this! Ordered the mobile and paid for it on the 3rd April and received my full refund on 30th April. Would I use them again…… Sorry but NO!

Be Careful, not sure I can trust them with my emails

Looking for a new email account and found GMX. Looked good and mainly good reviews on hers so created a free account. Filled in all the details to create an account and completed the CAPTCHA to confirm I'm not a robot. Clicked create and instantly get told that my account was blocked due to suspicious activity. To unblock the account I need to fill a form out to GMX support. Now I have to wait until they reply. What's that all about??? Never had that before. Looked at other reviews and this has happened for other people. I've also seen people that's had an account for years and then it gets blocked and can't be unblocked. I don't really trust this email provider now with my important emails................ Not a great start.

CRAZY!! I was a loyal customer, but not now!

Received an email today (8/1/2020) from Tandem to say as from the 9th March 2020, you have to opt into a Membership for a monthly fee of £5.99. REALLY!! If you choose not to become a member, you can use your card as normal until 9th March 2020. After this date, you will no longer be able to use your card and your credit agreement will end. Terrible way to treat loyal customers, I've been using the card for a long time now and it's great, great app and customer service but no way am I paying £5.99 a month to use the card. I messaged them to ask if they have a non-membership option like it is now, but no it's either pay £5.99 a month or it will end and close on the 9th March. I'm sure you will loose a lot of customers, I'm one of them who will not continue with Tandem. Such a shame!!!!

Terrible service, worst courier I have ever used! Will not use again

Consignment number: ZDBBFL000144001, ZDBBFL000144002 & ZDBBFL000144003.
I've tried calling them loads of times with no answer, I tried tracking it and it's been in "Collect" status for the last 2 days, should have been delivered on 08/01/2015 according to the company I bought the childs bed from and waited in all day and it didn't arrive. Now going to have to wait in all day today (09/01/2015) incase it arrives, so two days off work now. Still showing "collect" status, cant contact them. The tracking doesn't give me any information I really don't think it's going to turn up today. Terrible shocking service with no way of contacting them!

If you check the online tracking, once its out for delivery you will see the 3 hour delivery window.

Disappointed customer

Bought a bed for my child which cost £425, special order so took 3 weeks to get to us but one part of the bed had a crack down the leg. Unfortunately I can't put the bed together as it's the bunk end. Called the store where I ordered it from and they were really helpful and sent a message to customer service because customer services wasn't open on Sunday. Customer service didn't ring us back, so rung them and they will order the part for us. Great but it will take 2 weeks to get to us. We have already dismantled and sold our childs bed, so now has no bed to sleep on. So if we receive the part in two weeks time it will have been 5-6 weeks since order. It's not mattressman fault for the crack but they didn't call me back and it doesn't take two weeks to get a part out.
