Brilliant on all fronts. Easy to use. Cat doesn't mind the collar. Battery life brilliant. Range more than enough. Also if you need help you can ask for help by email. Anna was great really went the extra mile I would give her a millions stars if I could. PetTracer should make sure Anna gets a promotion!

We worry about our cats and tend to keep them indoors. When they do go out, they are wearing petTracer collars. These give us lots of reassurance and have saved a lot of anxiety over the years.
We've used petTracer (one base station and two collars) for over three years and find it easy to use and reliable.

I have been using Pet Tracer for my two cats for some months and the piece of mind knowing where they are at all times is indescribable. I love knowing each of their own roaming areas and found out one of my girls is a regular visitor to a home a few streets away where I visited to make sure they knew she had a home. I found out it was an old couple who love cats but due to their age didn’t want the responsibility of their own cat and my girl likes to sit with them on their couch and in their garden and even sometimes has a cheeky snooze on their bed!! They knew she was loved due to her condition and she has our details on her collar but they love her visits each day and the smoked salmon they buy her explained her weight gain!. A brilliant piece of kit and really excited for the new features on the next collar just about to be launched. Can I also add their customer service is outstanding and always reply when contacted for support.

We have used Pet Tracer now for over 4 years. Its without a doubt the best on the market it has the longest battery life which makes sense as when you really want it to work is if you are away! Our little girls has lost it from time to time as its important it has the quick release as with normal collars but we have always been able to track it down (sometimes at the local pub carpark...). We have had the odd issue from time to time but Anna has always come back super quick or if they know of the problem they send out an email. Highly recommend and much better than other brands (which we had also tried)

I bought this collar because I believed it was the best product available. I now know I was correct. With a very long battery life, this is an amazing product and worth every penny. Like all Tom cats, ours has fights. On one occasion, during the cat grapple, his opponent held him with the cat collar and it came off. Using the radio system we easily found the collar very quickly and it was about 300 yards from our home in leaves under a tree.

It is worth the money just to see how far your cat travels. You may be surprised! Ours travels up to 3/4 of a mile away but we have the piece of mind knowing that he never crosses busy roads. My wife and I sleep much better knowing this, and knowing this has saved him being neutered. Ouch!!

We did have a problem with the collar once and the support we got was amazing.

We used Pet Tracer for 2 years after our cat went missing for 2 days (got shut in an empty house). Although we never had to use it in its 'find' mode it was very useful to see the range and area our cat was covering and gave us peace of mind. Our cat was perfectly happy wearing the collar and only lost it once.

I have found customer services truly great. They have spend hours helping me locate a lost collar. The situation was very tricky as someone had picked up the collar and placed it inside their garage. Nonetheless the radio technology allowed me to trace the collar to the outside of that particular garage. Because I have now located a lost collar twice, I have confidence that I would also find my cat. In fact it has already once saved my cat after he was stuck on a roof with a dog preventing his escape.

The collar was not suitable for my cat, the returns process and help I was given was first class.

We've been customers for several years and have always had prompt help from the customer service team. They are patient and helpful.

The collar's biggest flaw is its lack of alarm. We bought this option because it is light-weight, but a flashing LED is really never of use when the collar is lost (because it's always lost in undergrowth or somewhere awkward). You can't go searching neighbours' gardens at night (when the light would have been of potential use).

We ended up adding Tile Bluetooth tags to the cat collars but they make the collar heavy and have their own search-function flaws, as well as causing the collars snag on things more easily.

In the end, two out of three collars were permanently lost and they're too expensive to continuously replace.

We'd have considered replacing them again if there were an alarm function built in.

Side note: if you buy these, we found the 3M high vis strips much better quality than what is available to purchase with the collar.

The GPS data is very handy and interesting to learn cat territory, but the collars have let us down (or been missing) in a crisis.

The petTracer collar was the best buy for our cat. A lot of research was done to find the right one. It has kept her safe and easily found for several years. She no longer goes outside so the collar is no longer needed. I recommend it to everyone who need peace of mind when their pet is out.

We have tried many tracking collars and this is by far the best. We have 2 cats both who have gone missing before so we worry about them a lot. We have invested in 2 homestations. 1 downstairs at the back of the house and the other upstairs at the front. This helps to improve the coverage. We have 3 collars as like to have a spare to help with charging and if one comes off. Our boy has lost his twice but we have easily found it with the GPS giving us a rough idea of location then making the homestation mobile giving us the reassurance that if he got locked in somewhere we would be able to find him. We have black spots for GPS around us so this collar having a mixture of GPS and radio is great.
One of the collars stopped working after about 6 months. After following the trouble shooting guide it still didn't work so contacted PetTacer. They requested some pictures to check for damage ( which it wasn't) then promptly offered to send a new collar out covered under their 2 year guarantee. Excellent customer service from Ilana.

I’m really disappointed with the functionality of this. The bugs are something else, and frankly it’s unfair to release something this janky when it claims to help responsibility for family members’ (cats) whereabouts. It’s reckless.

Changing frequency mode legitimately takes up to 2 hours every time and the amount of times the app has “confused” the collars of my two cats is ludicrous, e.g., choosing to switch off my one cat’s collar (who is lost) but then seeing that reflected in my other cat’s collar preventing me from tracking them.

I’m beyond frustrated.

So pleased with our PetTracer collar. Our cat managed to lose it and it was so simple to locate when I made the home station mobile. The support and advice for all scenarios is readily available and super easy to understand, even for an older, scared of technology woman like myself. James at PetTracer was also incredibly helpful and supportive. It’s interesting to be able to see where our cat regularly ‘hangs out’. I genuinely feel very confident that should our cat decide to go missing we will be able locate him quickly without delay. I would definitely recommend PetTracer to any cat owner.

I looked at a lot of pet trackers before deciding on this one really on the basis of the customer support that was available and I am so glad that I did. The team at petTracer are really amazing proactively reaching out with support cannot fault.

Excellent customer service from Anna at PetTracer. Experienced a few issues with lost collar etc. All resolved quickly, communication and support have been exceptional.

Excellent customer service from Zoe. My home station stopped working properly. Followed all the trouble shooting problems unfortunately the home station remained the same. A new home station was sent and and it was pre set for me so I didn't have to connect it to the internet. Very fast replys via email , the old home station unsent back with the pre paid returns labelled issued to me. New home station is working perfectly .

After losing my cat for a week (which was utterly devastating) I decided to invest in a collar for him to track his every move!

I did a lot of research into the collars from various companies selling them and decided to go for pet tracer as they received good reviews and the collar itself is small and light (even though I have a plump British short-hair)

It's been the best thing ever! I check on his whereabouts often, mainly because I'm nosey and wany to see where he gets to. It was well worth the money for peace of mind as I grew up with lots of farm cats and most never returned home which is actually much worse not knowing what ever happened to them 😪 I figured if there was ever such a thing brought to the market I would absolutely purchase it purely for the peace of mind it gives...and it does just that!
Customer service is also excellent if I have any issues they are quick with a response.
I do appreciate the cost of it all but I just decided if I have an outdoor cat I will always have a collar for them as it's worth its weight in gold!
I would never not have one now and if you're in any doubt then go for it...even if it's just to be nosey!

An excellent product - keeps peace of mind and the ability to switch to radio in an emergency can, literally, be a life saver. Anna, on the support staff, is excellent and has helped with any small issues we have had.

A great product with better options (than the competition) to find a missing cat when it's locked in somewhere out of view of GPS satellites.
We have one cat (and therefore one collar) but we extended our home stations to 3. That not only covers our farm footprint, but also allows us to get a better approximation of where our cat) will be, based on the signal strength each home station is showing.
We've only had one 'serious' missing issue; she was locked in a neighbour's outbuilding overnight. By then the GPS signal was not available but the last reported GPS position showed us where to start looking and the Pettracer radio functionality then got us to the right building. Pettracer got us close enough to hear our cat (and her collar) and then release her.
The Pettracer hotspot functionality is great as it shows us the history of our cat's favourite places. And that helps any search.
We've had Pettracer product for around three years now and would recommend to others.
