I would never use Vrbo again

I would never use Vrbo again. Paid over £4000 for a family holiday that was a nightmare but I can’t leave a review to warn others. My review is honest and not inflammatory but they obviously care more about businesses than people. American company I will be avoiding along with Expedia after this experience why ask for a review if you can’t accept honesty

I placed an order over two weeks ago. I haven’t received my item and they haven’t responded to my email awful customer service. I will never buy from this company again. I’ve had to open up a case with my bank to reclaim my money

no receipt received unable to exchange

I bought some slippers for my mum and opted for an online receipt, the slippers didnt fit but when I looked no online receipt received. I went to the store in Chester, lady there very unhelpful and wouldnt exchange without a receipt so I now have a pair of slippers that I cant exchange. I di receive the link to leave a review, but no recipt

Goods did not arrive and was unable to get any assistance

I ordered a bedside cabinet for my son and a few weeks went by and I had not received it and I realised I had not received a confirmation email either. I actually wondered if this purchase had gone through, but when I checked with my bank, I had indeed paid for it . I went to the website to try and get further information and was absolutely unable to contact anybody about my order the option to speak with anybody to flag non-delivery of goods was just simply not there. Another example of a company with rubbish customer service. I’ve had to open up a case with my credit card company who fortunately have been a lot more responsive than wowcher I won’t be using it again. I expect it’s great if it works, but if it doesn’t, it’s an absolute pain. I’m not sure how anybody gets away with having zero customer service in this day and age.

I can see but experiencing discomfort

So I am able to see without glasses but I am having issues with my left eye it just feels odd and my eyes feel strained generally. Whenever I have been and mentioned this, I am advised that there isn’t an issue because my vision is good. But there is definitely an issue and I don’t feel that people are listening to me. Today apparently I have some slight clouding to the back of my lens but not enough to address because I can see? I am a qualified nurse so I do understand the balance between more intervention and risk however It is affecting my quality of life and I feel I am being fobbed off. Aftercare has not been great.

This is bordering on criminal

This is bordering on criminal. Why are they taking orders they can’t fulfil? Child’s Xmas present due Tuesday still waiting. Xmas flowers sue Monday sat in a van to be delivered when? But still they take orders… not fit for purpose and blaming Royal Mail industrial action for their own incompetence those guys have managed to get everything here despite the pressures. Vile company

Philips sell items that you can’t buy parts for beware

So I am a loyal customer of Philips having used their sonicare brushes for many years now. I recently decided to invest in an interdental flosser and went for the slightly more expensive pro version retailing at £100. I dropped it on the floor and broke the head after only three uses so set about trying to buy a replacement. I searched high and low and couldn’t find one rendering my purchase useless. I wasted another twenty quid buying a set that didn’t fit on Amazon and eventually turned to Phillips. Well their website states that customer service is important but it really isn’t… after a good hour of searching and drawing a blank I found a way to send a message. The message that came back said sorry we don’t make those anymore try the internet! So my brand new flosser was useless and apparently my problem. Buyer beware their products may be decent but if something goes wrong there device isn’t. Hats off to Amazon who took it back off me and refunded… whatever you think of Amazon they certainly can claim decent customer service.

Next day collection? Still waiting

I paid for next day collection of my large parcel plus insurance. Two weeks later it is still in my hallway. I am unable to speak to anybody I have tweeted emailed and called. Do not use this dreadful company because if it goes wrong and it probably will (go see Twitter beneath the self congratulatory pinned messages) you will be stuck with the problem. I have two days for this to be returned or will incur costs and be unable to return it despite having paid for a next day insured collection. Can you imagine sorting that mess out? My advice to buyers is beware and to the company... do not offer a service that you cannot deliver. Eventually your reputation will catch up with you. Footnote: re comment below promising a review of my case. I still haven’t heard anything even though I contacted you immediately as requested. Am I surprised? Sadly not
