Most of stressful of using this if someone wanted to loos there business and money use this plate form
They give refund to customer and they are not taking care of your compny and you won’t get your product back supporting scammers so I decided to move into shopify this platform full of stress and lost of business money wise
Astronomical fees for Unbelievably bad service and delivery!
Unbelievably bad service and product/plugin delivery!
I had an issue with the Stripe/WooCommerce connection (stuck in a loop, unable to connect one account with the other), meaning I was unable to process ANY payments. After 7 days of suffering a business-critical outage, I had to pay someone independently to address the issue, which they did within 15 minutes.
These guys charge astronomical fees for annual 'support' on GPL-licensed plugins. I shall never again pay them a penny, and I would advise all to do the same - if something goes wrong, they're simply NOT interested - I guess this is what happens when you monopolise the WordPress Ecommerce scene.
I've never experienced any delays
I've never experienced any delays, and withdrawals are handled promptly. The site's sense of security and reliability is what most strikes me. In the industry, Prestige really sets the bar high.

This firm works with scammers like online sleeping tablets uk. As the law stands if you work with criminals. Your a criminal.
ZERO customer support
The product is okay, but there is zero in the way of customer support. NOTHING. Other than AI or "self help" links. And these are not always relevant.
I have received an auto renew notification, which I wanted to cancel. There are no options in the subscriptions section, and the advice given by AI is simply wrong. The steps is recommends are not available. Neither is anyone to speak to.
Infuriating. These technology businesses fail to appreciate the value of PEOPLE. I have wasted so much time trying to sort this out and made no progress. I'm sure that a brief phone call with someone could have sorted it out.
Stop being greedy and actually offer some service.
Clunky, Inconsistent, and Too Developer-Heavy
WooCommerce might look appealing at first, but it quickly becomes a headache. The interface is clunky, behavior across plugins is inconsistent, and payment delays are far too common. Support rarely helps directly — you're usually sent to documentation and left to figure things out yourself. Unless you're ready to play developer every time something breaks, this platform will test your patience. It’s powerful, yes — but far from user-friendly.
The best platform for our online store!
We've been using WooCommerce for our online store for over three years, and it's been an incredible experience. The platform is so flexible and powerful, allowing us to customize everything from the look and feel of our shop to the way we manage inventory and process orders.
The best part is how easy it is to use. Setting up our store was straightforward, and adding new products is a breeze. We've also been able to easily integrate various plugins for things like email marketing and shipping, which has really streamlined our operations.
Plus, the community support is fantastic. Whenever we've had a question, we've found the answer quickly through forums or documentation. If you're looking to build a professional and scalable online store, I highly recommend WooCommerce. It's the perfect solution for businesses of all sizes.

They will give you your money, if they want to.
I run a neighborhood site that allows subscriptions behind the login screen, because they cant come in and audit it they choose to suspend the account and hold the funds hostage. Luckily I only did a test transaction so I am only out $12 but now to have to bring the credit card company in now to dispute it all, real pain in the butt. Staying with PayPal on this one and Woo, will never be my choice on other websites in the future.
Switched to Woocommerce from Shopify…
Switched to Woocommerce from Shopify mainly for extra control and it delivers. Way more flexibility when it comes to design, features and preety much every part of the store. On the other side, it does come with a bit more hands on setup. Things that are plug-and-play on Shopify sometimes need a plugin (or three) here. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you are not techy. Overall, worth it for freedom, just expect more DIY along the way.

Woo Commerce refusing refund
I cancelled my subscription and received an email confirming that my subscription was cancelled on 4/5/25. On 7/11/25 I was charged for the subscription again even though it was already cancelled. After submitting a help ticket, I was told that it was for an outstanding balance. They refuse to return my money or supply proof that there was an outstanding balance. I can't trust that they actually cancelled the subscription. I will not be using this company again.
Aggressive connection request
Purchased a plugin from WooCommerce. Plugin wont be updated as usual as the site needs to be connected with Woo. Alright, tried doing that, Woo fetched some details on its own - would not let me in as the account is incorrect. Recovered password, cleared the cache - account not found! Great! Woo merged up with WordPress and has caused this mess. In the end, somehow managed to get into the right account and manually download and upload/install the new release plugin.
My site will not be connected to the Woo.
This review will be updated once the aggressive connection request gets taken down and I can update plugins via admin dashboard.
What a freaking scam they are
What a freaking scam they are! The de-activate and delete your account if you have purchased products like 10 years ago with lifetime subscriptions.
Then they ask you to fill out different forms that won't proceed and doesn't work!
This company is just a nasty scam!
Good there are coming other ecommerce plugin for Wordpress out there!
What a bunch of scammers here!!!
They charge over 5.5% + £0.25 for…
They charge over 5.5% + £0.25 for international payments. Absolutely rip off.
Absolutely disgusting company to get…
Absolutely disgusting company to get involved with, unfortunately I used them on my websites longdogfashion.co.uk and longdogart.co.uk
I was told they would be good to use for payments, how wrong I was! On the first few sales on my art website, although small amounts, the transactions were quick and received promptly.
Now, when it came to my fashion website and higher amounts, that’s where it all went wrong. I saw they would keep the first payment for 7-14 days, so they decided to keep hold of all payments. When I questioned this, they said when my account get a history of more payments, they will reconsider looking at my account for payouts! I got that every time as a response.
They have now updated me saying they will authorise payouts monthly plus 7 days of each transaction! How do they expect a business to operate on those terms?
Avoid them at all costs, their service and customer service is atrocious!
The CMS itself is good not their plugins
The CMS itself is good, flexible (open source unlike Shopify)
Just avoid their in-house plugins whenever another alternative is possible (such as YITH)
Why? Because these are just lazy money grabs charging you on a subscription basis while never evolving
They basically do the bare minimum, make sure the environment remains secure and up to date with latest WP versions that’s as far as it goes.
You have a feature request? Yeah that’s not gonna happen, regardless how pertinent it might be
We’ve had a lot of their plugins and just stopped paying for their subscriptions because smaller teams have eaten up their market shares with better coded, better updated plugins which also have more functionalities are are at worst priced the same if not cheaper…
WC this has been ongoing for years? A decade? Maybe it’s time you stop milking customers and actually reinvest all this sub money into actually making your plugins better
But you don’t care right? Why am I even wasting time writing that review anyway
Another dropshipping enabler
Woo Commerce is a legal scam!! DO NOT USE!!!
Do not do business with this company under any circumstances. They withhold payments that are legally due to you and then cite reasons which are not disclosed upfront. Below is a cut from an email received from them.
Thanks for your patience while we waited for a reply from the payments team.
I wanted to let you know that payouts on newer accounts remain blocked until the account shows more activity and a reliable transaction history. A reliable transaction history just means regular transactions over a sustained period.
Although it’s not possible to go into details on specific transactions or timeframes, which I know is frustrating, we’ll be happy to reconsider the payout status once your account is more established.
If, after a sustained period of regular transactions, your payouts remain suspended, don’t hesitate to reach out to us for help. Please let us know if you have any additional questions at this time.

These guys are scumbag clowns
These guys are scumbag clowns! Stripe wanted me to re-verify my account details, after being verified with them for years. I provided details and this went on for 2 weeks, with them accusing me of having another Director, despite me providing them with a copy of the company Annual Report. I finally had enough of their over-hyped security and run around, and wanted to delete my account. Turns out you have to delete your account with WooCommerce, and so after 4 days of run around with WooCommerce they cannot even reply to my deletion request. They call their support "Happiness Engineers" - these people are lazy, dishonest crooks, who make it WAY TOO DIFFICULT to delete your account, and do not reply after 4 days! I HATE Woocommerce / Stripe - so useless. Use PayPal or ANYONE ELSE - these guys are clowns!
