My account has been approved
Then they closed my account
They did not give me dues
My dues have been stolen by them
They do not accept sending my money
They send me to the stripe
And stripe send me to them
Absolute garbage platform
Absolute garbage platform - Nothing works as it should - No customer support - Only emails that don't get answered. Major bugs and clunky problems that just seem to be a part of the software. Payments not working or failing. not only have I wasted a lot of time and lost a lot of money through the site not working I now have to remake it on another platform because it just simply isnt working and no one replies to help you. AVOID!!!! Don't waste your time with this rubbish
Absolute ripoff
The prices of the extensions have gone up significantly despite no new functions or features being added to them and now we have to wait over a week to get support despite paying for it!
Absolute ripoff
woocommerce payments... there is nothing worse!
Unfortunately, I regret choosing the WooCommerce payment solution for my e-commerce site. The documentation stated that funds obtained through sales would be credited to my account via bank transfer after 7 days, but this has not been the case. It has been almost two weeks since my customers made their purchases with their credit cards, yet the funds have not been credited to my account. As my business relies on the print-on-demand system, I need to pay the manufacturer for every order I receive to put it into production. Although I have paid for the orders and they have been completed, I have still not received my money.
Therefore, I strongly advise against using this plugin.
Didnt work for us
Didnt work for us. And tech support were lame. Plugin did not send out emails.
No support
No support, either around payment plugins, Shopify is much better!
I have contacted support on both facebook and woocommerce com
Good platform
The negative reviews here are uncouth
The reviews here have not fit my experience at all. The customer service is diligent, and if you do your due diligence their system is very clear in terms of pricing, how they operate, etc.
Woocommerce is FREE. But, their extensions are not. Their prices are frustrating, but honestly, for how well their extensions integrate within the Woocommerce system, it's a no brainer.
If you don't have coding experience or money to spend on a coder to navigate the webdev world - why are you here? why blame Woo for your incompetence? why leave negative reviews? Go to Shopify, or Wix or someone that holds your hand through your experience.
Out of the box, Woo is a solidly functioning system. Worth the price. I had zero experience in coding or building a website before 1.5 years ago, and Woo has made the process so much simpler for me.
They very clearly state that they do not provide support for customization on their products, and they live up to that. Which has massively disappointed me a large handful of times. But, because I know how to Google things, I've figured out my issues without needing to leave shifty reviews as a victim of my own incompetence.
Yeah, their expensive, and rigid, but its a super stable system and if you can think for yourself, its HIGHLY customizable. Their support crew has ALWAYS been diligent, transparent, and has dumbed things down for me. Always.
I'm probably the worst kind of customer too. While experimenting on a Woo plugin, I purchased and requested a refund SEVERAL times (maybe like, 5?) within about a 2 month time period. And, I was never mistreated, and my money went exactly where I wanted it to go. Also, I've bombarded their support team with endless questions, often times fairly repetitive and stupid questions that oftentimes were about customization for my site's needs (they clearly say they dont help with that), and theyve always been extremely helpful in guiding me to an answer and have never shown any sign of frustration.
All the negative reviews here seem like they're coming from a victim mentality and complete incompetence and/or negating accountability. Woo is alright by me.
It's been about 1.5yrs of building my multivendor ecommerce platform using Woocommerce and their extensions. I'm a busy guy with a full time profession and a life, just building my site on the side (with absolutely no webdev, or coding experienceprior) and haven't launched my site yet. I have yet to start onboarding with customers, so I cannot speak to their quality in terms of how they handle my customers, their needs, and their money, etc. But, based off my experience so far, I feel like we're in good hands with Woo.

I opened a Woo commerce account on or…
I opened a Woo commerce account on or about October 1, 2022. On or about October 7th, 2022, I had a deposit of $275.00. Woo commerce contacted me several times via email only, that my account triggered a delay. My business is well established, and I have used several payment platforms. To date Woo commerce has not refunded my money and has not responded. I would not recommend Woo commerce they are not reputable. Stay away from them!
Too difficult and lack of support
Don't waste your time if you are not tech savvy. After 40 days, I am still struggling to make my WooCommerce site work correctly. Have spent over 400$ on plugins, and it still does not work right.
I opened a print on demand shop a few days ago in Shopify and was running in minutes.
Don't go this route unless you have a developer or know what you know very well WP.
Support is also non existent .
I am much happier with Shopify no. It works and it is easy. The contrary of WooCommerce
The plugin is not what is expected
The plugin is not what is expected. Very limited functuonality.
How much does it cost?
Immediate untrustworthy feeling.
On the WooCommerce home page at the top, there are 6 menu items.
These have 40 sub-menus coming off of them, and then those have many more sub-folders too.
Then there is nothing on the home page to find out about prices either.
And the footer has 5 menus, with a total of 39 links!
Yet still, I cannot locate their price page. Which to mean means, it's not good if it's hidden.
I use woocommerce payments
I use woocommerce payments. A customer disputed a payment and said it was fraud on our part. We provided all the proof to woocommerce payments that it was in fact a real order and it was fulfilled. Woocommerce payments still decided to refund $350 to the customer who provided them no proof. Do not trust them.
Love the software and the support is…
Love the software and the support is very good however we came across an extension on their store which wasn't very good so reviewed it. The review which criticised the extension was never published. When we questioned why our review wasn't showing we were given the run around with no explanation. It seems that woocommerce wish to curate their marketplaces reviews so that only the good reviews show and those which critique the poor extensions are never published. Pretty disappointing given that we have been very impressed with all other parts of woocommerce.
Great features
Currently using this platform for my site. Still learning the features but so far so good.
Expensive Plug-ins, Poor Customer Support
The plugins were expensive and the customer service was almost non-existent. I had to wait for months before someone could get back to me.
A Shop with payment through Woocommere…
A Shop with payment through Woocommere Routed through stripe seems that WOOCOMMERCE is holding the money back (from the payer as well from the shoip) and telling "due to product we are not supporting we are not Routing the already paid money by the customer to the shop". BUT NEITHER They are refunding/ paying it back to the customer (the one who paid by credit card). Every fuel Station is first blocking a payment and refunding afterwards to than take the money according the real invoice away. So Why the hell WOO(do)Commerce is not capable/ Willingen to pay than right away the Funds back and seems to require a big discussion and maybe finally a cancellation of the credit card company?

Navigating the plug-ins can get tricky
My woocomerce site has been quite an experience. I’d recommend getting a web designer to help you if available as navigating all the plug-ins and the little anomalies that crop up between them can be tough. But overall it’s been good and I really like the website I’ve been able to build using woo commerce.
