CC cleaner offered me a 60 day free…

CC cleaner offered me a 60 day free trial subscription which I cancelled during the trial period but they still charged me. I contacted support and had a reply on 25 Sep from a Daksh offering various options incl. full refund. I wrote to them stating I would like a full refund on 3 Oct but have heard nothing back. Their chat line has a wait time of 30-40 minutes.

Trustpilot recently took down my review…

Trustpilot recently took down my review as BW Legal claim my review was not genuine. Trust pilot then asked me to provide evidence for my claim. Not sure what BW Legal provided Trustpilot for it to take down my review.
I also provided evidence to Trustpilot several times which they claim is not in the format required. I then provided one in Word format which again they said was not acceptable. On 30 Apr 2025 after almost a year Bwlegal and after I asked them to take me to court , wrote to me stating the matter is now put on hold and they will revert to me if their client Eon responds.

Zannussi Fridge

I bought a new build which came with a host of Zannussi kitchen products. Within a year the fridge temperature became so cold that icicles keep forming on bread and other products. Phoned Zannussi - engineer 1) changed the condenser unit but made no difference. engineer 2) came - told me there is nothing wrong with the fridge it has to be the manufacturers fault. Now the freezer compartment is packing up with ice - every few days we have to scrape it off so we can close the day. Phone Zannussi was told as out of warranty - fixed cost £149 but if cannot be repaired only £69 would be refunded. Astonished to hear that a fault notified within 12 months which has progressively got worse is not been addressed. Will never buy a Zannussi product .

I just returned from a most memorable walking tour of the Amalfi coast which was made possible by their excellent guide - Peter Meyers who I found highly professional, knowledgeable and above all the most compassionate guide I have had.

I tried to get support in vain.

I tried to get support in vain.
Went through their system - states enter email which after checking says its correct. Next it asks for security code which I entered - does not accept. Then I requested a new one which the system said will be emailed but this email never arrived even it said my email address is correct. Why is it so difficult to contact you by email for e.g. I am a basic 365 subscriber and you keep sending me emails to upgrade. Please reply with an email address for support.

I attach the above reply I received. They don't seem to read what is sent. My wife has never had an account with Eon or any company for that matter I have. You sent her a recovery letter on 28 Dec 2023 demanding £36.79. I have since spoken to Eon who confirm we owe nothing. Why don't you instead of asking her to send evidence from Eon she owes nothing ask your client Eon for an invoice with her name, account number etc. showing the amount you are claiming. I think its disgraceful for a professional firm to act this way. You cannot even provide an email address to contact you. I think you owe an apology to my wife for literally harassing her. ref:T5789672

I did respond to their email. I suspect there is a problem with the transmission. I have today sent my reply of 6 Mar again and as a precaution sent the same from my phone. I do hope they get it.
I have also given my phone number. Perhaps it could help if I have theirs.

Follow up

I sent them an email in which I provided further information they asked for 11 Feb which remains unanswered.
In particular see below which relates to a warranty registration. I asked them for details of which product it relates to on 11 Feb to which I have not had a reply. That warrant documentation is the only thing I could not provide.

Regarding the warranty registration in our records, it seems to pertain to a different item than the one you're claiming for, and the purchase date doesn't match the invoice you provided. This also clarifies the email you received from us regarding the change of ownership.

Faulty iron…

Can I make the following points..
I provided you with every thing else you requested and told you I could not locate the warranty certificate. On 24 Jan you emailed stating there has been a change of ownership of the product and that I should contact the previous owner for warranty certificate. I then told there is no change of ownership and gave you my wife's name. On 31 Jan you addressed my wife that as she had registered a Morphy Richard product that Consumer Brands will be dealing with all future warrant claims which clearly indicates that this product was registered. Thanks

Shocking late delivery.

Despite their website and the cashier at my local postoffice saying parcel will be delivered within 5 to 7 days it turned out parcel did not even leave the UK for almost 3 weeks. When I complained was told the 5 to 7 days are estimates and are not guaranteed.
On their website they continue to claim 5 to 7 days delivery. Shocking. Cost £26.65. other couriers charge less than a third. Will never use them again.

I ordered a printer recently which was…

I ordered a printer recently which was supposed to be new. Indeed Amazon confirmed it was new. When the confirmation email arrived it showed it was used. So I spoke to Amazon agent again who told me I should cancel and he would report to his superiors that the website is misleading. I then reordered the same about 5 days later and as a consequence had to pay an extra £69. I honestly thought Amazon would refund this amount as it was clearly their fault but despite complaining to them they are refusing to budge. Not sure if I will shop with them again.
Names etc can be supplied if requested.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. ordered a wardrobe which was in stock and still is and supposed to arrive 3- 5 days. its past 2 weeks now. got an email item shipped but could arrive in the next few days. tried everything, phone, chat (robot) etc. Clearly not bothered. have bought items in store . first and last time online.
