Faulty microwave that nearly caused a…
Faulty microwave that nearly caused a fire. Phoned customer service only to be told it's out of warranty by a month. Not interested. Microwave sparked and smoked. Saw it straight away so prevented fire. No duty of care to check what has caused the problem in case its a wider issue. Complaint raised by email today. Not expecting a response or any effort to resolve it. The microwave was part of a kitchen installation, wished we'd had the option to choose another brand. Will never buy a Zanussi appliance again.
Rubbish quality
Rubbish quality.
I used z716wt83bi just 16months and the dryer function is out of order.
This company set the timer is really accurate, on time warranty expired and out of order and ask for the money for fixing.
Worst products and customer service
Shame I couldn't give it zero stars. Products and customer services are absolutely shocking. CS rep asked me about 8 questions to confirm ID then emailed me later using the wrong name! Don't care about customer issues when you do finally get through to somebody on the phone. Never ever buy Zanussi.
Contacted customer service at Zanussi…
Contacted customer service at Zanussi to get installation guide for integrated dishwasher model ZDLN1511, door panel was loose and needed tightening. Website had user manual only. Zanussi said they don't provide installation instructions contact retailer or installer. Don't know the retailer, dishwasher was in house when purchased. I don't need to call out an installer to tighten door, although think issue is with plastic insert on the appliance. What a ridiculous situation, why isn't install guide available, hardly a technical secret.
Zanussi ZGGN755K Gas Hob - Dangerous
Bought a Zanussi gas hob as part of a kitchen supply and fit through Wickes a few years ago, suddenly three weeks ago, without any warning the glass hob exploded into thousands of shards across the kitchen and hallway, damaging kitchen doors, the floor and myself cutting my legs whilst stood nearly 2 metres away! We were lucky no one was more seriously injured as the glass embedded itself into doors on the opposite side of the kitchen.
Clearly after a few years of usage the glass is not good at handling the changes in heat and pressure and explodes violently. After searching online I have found numerous cases of the same with model ZGGN755K.
Such poor quality really disappointing
Such poor quality really disappointing. New build property 2 years old after a few month of hardly any use the tumble dryer/washer heater gave up. I have been getting by with the dishwasher for 2 years but the clips to the plaster sprayer broke months or a year ago now today the whole sprayer is so flimsy I have to buy new replacement . I would never buy zanussi there cheap plastic products and take no pride in reliability of their products
We had a Zanussi integrated…
We had a Zanussi integrated fridge/freezer fitted in our kitchen in the new build house we bought. This was the only brand the builders used so I had no option.
I asked if the item was self defrosting and told it was. On moving in I could tell with about 4 weeks the freezer section was not but the fridge section was, which is very strange.
Bellway the house builder would do nothing about it. So every couple of months I have to go through the chore of defrosting the freezer otherwise it gets to the point where the drawers are difficult to move.
My last f/f purchased from John Lewis lasted 25 years, defrosted itself and never ever went wrong but sadly had to leave in the property I moved from.
Why did Zanussi build one half defrosting and the other half not, crazy. I would definitely not recommend this item.
I am a Zanussi customer in Egypt
I am a Zanussi customer in Egypt , I experienced very bad customer service. I asked for Zanussi maintenance visit yesterday, I got an appointment from 11-3 pm. So I left my work and waited till 2 pm and no one came , I called call center and they confirmed that their representative was on his way to me . At 2:05 pm , I received whats app message from Zanussi telling me that my appointment will be postponed to today without saying sorry or mentioning any reasons.
This way of ignoring customers and not considering them is disappointing.
My Zanussi washer dryer had a concealed…
My Zanussi washer dryer had a concealed leak which caused damage to my flooring. It was identified by an Zanussi appointed engineer that there was an internal fault and was advised to make a complaint to Zanussi directly. Further inspection revealed the leak had caused severe damage to my underfloor heating resulting in nearly £10K worth of repair work in total. I sent numerous written complaints via email to Zanussi regarding the internal fault, on the rare occasion they did respond, they gave me a one liner on how they were not prepared to take this further, thus not addressing any aspect of my complaint. This was hugely frustrating and extremely costly. Customer service is shocking - I would never buy another Zanussi product again.
Well I have a 10-year-old gas cooker…
Well I have a 10-year-old gas cooker recently I’ve had two callouts on this appliance the first one young man came out to my home and stated that I have rats that’s why the bottom of the oven underneath is spent but did nothing about it. He also went on to claim that when I’m cooking anything in the oven that I need to cook on a low setting then he went on to talk about the back burner which was showing orange flames and and continue with derogatory comments. The next one that came out was supposed to be a senior engineer again he was talking about my sister the cause of what happened there and got three big cats so I don’t have in my house then he went on about the back burner now he said that the back burner is showing orange flames is that due to dust? Remember the price is used on a daily basis but it has dust. Haven’t looked at reviews and saw that somebody had a similar problem and I’m really glad to know that I’m not alone and that the orange frames is showing that there’s oxygen which my opinion doesn’t sound very good. I have a really hard time with the insurance company domestic general to every month Pain subsidiary but yet so because of these companies called rapid response they’re absolutely useless. I don’t know where to get there from that could come into peoples home. I’d be disrespectful so yes I’m not happy and I would never give domestic and general all that company called rapid response absolutely ridiculous now becoming a money making industry. I don’t care about the customers you pay out for applies to seeking help, but yet still they are making these comments. I wait for your response.
Both my microwave and oven (integrated)…
Both my microwave and oven (integrated) died at under two years old, just out of warranty. Avoid this company like the plague.
Absolutely disgusted by the fact that…
Absolutely disgusted by the fact that after only 8 months the cleaning drawer started melting down during cleaning cycles when supposed to cope with high temperatures. After noticed that, contacted Zanussi to get someone in since still on warranty and I have been told that this is not covered by the warranty. Clearly the manufacturer used a defective piece of plastic and I have to pay for a replace??? You are absolutely insane!
An absolute shambles to get anywhere…
An absolute shambles to get anywhere with them. I would rate them as either crooks or incompetent to the point they should be closed down. I will never buy Zanussi again and urge anyone else not to either.
Had 2 failures in just over two years
Had 2 failures in just over two years. The first an integral freezer was just over a year old. Zanussi said that product only had a years warranty as it was not registered online (which it was). The second an integral Fridge Freezer failed at just over 2 years. The part a controller is not stocked in the uk so we have to wait upto 2 weeks for a replacement. Zanussi have been totally useless.
Zanussi Bingo - New Build, Irreparable Fault
Same story as a lot of others here- new build + Zanussi products. After 3.5 years of service, my washing machine developed an unrepairable fault (spider arm broke) which meant the machine needed to be written off as it can't be replaced for less than the price of a new machine. For most of those 3.5 years I lived alone, with 3 washes per week. The machine was well maintained and cared for, but one day just packed up. I've bought a new machine, and you'll be unsurprised to hear it was not this brand. I'm guessing the only customers to this brand now are housebuilders who get cheap, rubbish machines.
Zanuzzi integral fridge freezer…
We had an integral fridge freezer installed by Wikes . 18 months old and the freezer part broke. Twice called out the engineers , each time they tried something only for a couple of hours later start beeping again . The upshot of it was we had to get a new Fridge Freezer . Zanuzzi products are not fit for purpose . I will never buy their products again.
I hate the reversed hob dials
I hate the reversed hob dials. Why change something that has been the norm for like ever! I've had the oven for approx 18 months now and still not used to it.
Terrible customer service
I called to arrange a fixed price repair, with an up front charge off £149. The T&C's were explained, which in a nutshell equated to - if the engineer can't fix it, the call out fee will still be charged (£80). If the repair doesn't work, then the same applies (£80 fee).
The engineer came to the house, no tools in hand, who assessed the work and ordered the parts - I get it - make sure the right parts are here. No contact was received within a few days so I called in, and was informed that one part had not arrived but was due to arrive on the Friday.
Fast-forward to mid-the following week, with no contact received. I called in again, and was told that the part would not be in until November(!!). I explained that we are a family of four, and November is totally ridiculous. I was offered a partial refund (-£80!) despite the fact that the engineer has done zero work. Not even attempted to repair.
I would not recommend this service at all. I understand that the engineer call-out has to be paid by someone, but this scenario is just ridiculous.
Zanussi / Electrolux suck
Zanussi / Electrolux have a Zanussi oven installed here at my house on Skye.
At 7pm on a Saturday in April 2025 I was cleaning the front of the oven as we were expecting guests for Sunday lunch obviously.
The outer sheet of plate glass was being being rubbed gently with Method Daily Kitchen and a microfibre cloth.
The outer sheet of glass detached itself from the paltry 2 strips of glue and exploded into a 1000 fragments of glass which filled a house with a concrete floor and two dogs. Thank you Zanussi.
Now on 17 July 2025 I go for a ride on my bmx at 1330. I return at 1430. I have missed my Highland Appliances engineer visit. Scheduled for the end of the day 17th July.
Since when has the end of the day in Scotland been 1430. Is Scotland just pure lazy?
I ring and complain. Let me lay this out for you simply. I rang Highland Appliances at 0930 today. They said we were the last call and due at the end the day.
What they meant was you will get the last slot and we have no idea what time that will be.
I suggest they spend less time watching "Back to the Future" and think seriously about the nature of time.
Time is a construct but not if you want to keep customers.
Appalling Service – Fridge Freezer Still Broken After 7 Weeks
I purchased Zanussi's Fixed-Price Repair service (£149) after my Zanussi frost-free fridge freezer broke unexpectedly at just 3.5 years old – far earlier than expected for a 'quality brand'.
The repair was handled by their contractor Pacifica, and it has been a nightmare from start to finish:
First appointment was over 1 week after booking, the young engineer said it needed re-gassing – he couldn’t do it that day.
Second appointment the week after cancelled last-minute due to parts delay - this was a lie as no parts are needed for re-gassing.
Third visit: attempted re-gassing – didn’t fix the issue.
Fourth visit: another delay.
Fifth visit (8 July): finally fitted a new compressor. Two days later, the fridge broke down completely again, ruining all food in the freezer.
Despite repeatedly explaining that I am six months pregnant, have a toddler, and am dealing with this during a heatwave, both Zanussi and Pacifica have been unhelpful and dismissive. No urgency, no proper resolution, and no working fridge freezer.
This has been going on for over 7 weeks, with no end in sight. I deeply regret trusting Zanussi with either their appliance or their repair service.
This has happened to many other people on our new housing estate with the same fridge freezers so I would strongly advise others to avoid Zanussi.
