Do not trust this company ! They say they have delivered parcels when they haven’t. They can’t provide photographic proof. The couriers probably just go through the list and marked all as delivered! I don’t understand why companies use them. They are notorious UK wide for not delivering parcels. I have two parcels that they said have been delivered when they haven’t - the laughable part, I was sat in the front garden at the time they said they delivered them! They are nothing more than fraudsters, pocketing on our items! Absolutely fuming! 🤬🤬🤬
Worst courier that ever existed
I don't understand why retailers used this courier, none has been delivered with all my orders! As in none ! ZERO and no proof of delivery!
Is there any authority we can report this as this is just non-existent service !
Zero customer service
So my parcel was me tion to be left in secure location but nothing was there trying to get hold of a human to speak to was as difficult as they could possibly make it. Bot chat or recorded audio chat, nothing helped and there isnt an email or any other way to contact thrm. So wheres my parcel? Asked Bot chat for evidence of delivery i.e. photo but nothing forthcoming. Rubbish company and non existent customer service. If I could give zero out of 5 I would have.

Horrible shipping company
Horrible shipping company. I sent two tickets because of an order that was with this carrier and they never responded. The order traveled around Europe, passing through Germany, then Belgium and never reaching its destination country, Portugal. Now the order is being returned to the sender. In fact, the shipping company Hermes Germany told the sender that "there were several delivery attempts but without success" when we both know that this is a lie. Terrible shipping company, misleading and possibly lame, I believe they kept my order, as the last update was on March 25th saying that it was being returned to the sender but as of today, April 30th, the sender still hasn't received mine order. How is it possible?
1 star is too much.
Well, totally agree with ratings below (but based on my personal experience with a washing machine from otto.de). They do not deserve even 1 star. Incompetent and unfriendly.
2 parcels - nothing delivered
2 parcels ordered from separate companies with delivery today. Hermes/Evri emailed to say 1 was delivered-it was NOT and the other is due between 1.30 and 3.30. It is now 6.05pm and no parcel. I now have to try to get a number for them to find out what they’ve done with my parcels. I even had both sent to my work address as there’s so done here Monday to Friday 9-8 so I didn’t miss the delivery. I stopped ordering from simply be because of Hermes and now it looks like eBay and Purdy and Figg will be off my list too because if this totally 💩 delivery company!

Bought an item from UK-Canada, Never came
Bought an item from UK-Canada, it went to Germany and says "being processed in the country of destination" haven't gotten an update in over a month now so I can only assume that my package of 1 sweater is stuck in German customs for some reason. No help/ customer service.
Useless delivery driver
We had brilliant Hermes/Evri delivery drivers on this route for about 12 years.
For the last several months there's a new chap. He's absolutely [expletive] useless.
He doesn't deliver the parcels to the house, he leaves them a quarter of a mile away at the top of our lane. There was also no notification of delivery (which was some days late anyway).
Our brilliant postie spotted the parcel and brought it down for us. Hermes/Evri should pay him for the last leg of the delivery.

The most horrible courier in Uk. No one to chat to , just the artificial intelligence. 2 attempts to deliver my parcel at the exact same hour 11:41 and I was at the location waiting. It's not my first bad experience with them. Rubbish above all!
Failed delivery, zero customer service.
Why am i not surprised at the other low ratings?
They failed to deliver my item twice now. The second time offered me a delivery window and i fully intended to be waiting outside for the full time to facilitate an easy delivery. However, half hour before the delivery window starts the tracking tells me delivery failed try again tomorrow. Not overly bad i suppose but whats really brought them this bad review is having to deal with their app which seems designed to discouarge people and it being impossible to speak to a human being.
I will attempt to be waiting again tomorrow during the newly promises delivery window but after that ill have to shop elsewhere and they can keep the parcel.

Dreadful experience and situation yet again
I ordered an item from eBay and expected it on 25 February. I hadn’t received on this day so emailed the vendor. They said that after speaking with Hermes, they were told the parcel had been delivered on the 25th and even took a photo of it and where it was left. However, it wasn’t my house! After several emails with the vendor and the CEO of Hermes, it seems that I still do not have a satisfactory answer and still have no idea where my parcel is. This has happened before with Evri and I doubt I will be ordering anything that involves Hermes or Evri. Why the hell are they still in business?? 😡

Would like to say that Hayley who delivers in Brock Hill, Wickford is absolutely marvellous. She has gone over and above this week and is truly a great ambassador for your brand. Thoughtful and caring about the local area and the people who live there. I hope she will receive this praise. From Nbr 16, she will know.
Wow - Dreadful
Wow, they seem to be the only delivery company that can't seem to find my house. They also never seem to give a reason why they can't deliver something. Shockingly bad

I have stayed in all day waiting for a parcel periodically checking the tracking number on their website then suddenly the website tells me I have an invalid tracking number and to contact the retailer!?
What the... Hermes!? Seems like every single time I am expecting a delivery, you manage to royally screw up.
Why retailers continue to use you is beyond me.
Now I have no package and no tracking either, and once again it is left to the customer to try and sort your mess out!
And yes Hermes the tracking number WAS correct and independently verified... Until YOU decided it no longer was????
