Zero customer service

So my parcel was me tion to be left in secure location but nothing was there trying to get hold of a human to speak to was as difficult as they could possibly make it. Bot chat or recorded audio chat, nothing helped and there isnt an email or any other way to contact thrm. So wheres my parcel? Asked Bot chat for evidence of delivery i.e. photo but nothing forthcoming. Rubbish company and non existent customer service. If I could give zero out of 5 I would have.

Actually spoke to a human

Telephone answered immediately and MB3 was very helpful assisting me in my query about the cost of my renewal. Satisfied with price eventually agreed but will definitely use comparison sites in the future as pricing obtained via them made me query my renewal cost on the first place.

Staying with Octopus Energy

Have been with Octopus energy for a number of years on a fixed rate tariff. This will soon end and Octopus emailed me with my options. It was quick and so easy to decide which option to take as all the information I needed to make a decision was on their website. A couple of clicks and all done. Very efficient company and a well thought out website.

Complete waste of time and money

Complete waste of time and money. Venue kept me waiting for minutes, didn't have anything ready, then gave me 4 items all of which had been reduced several times already. Ended up paying £4 for items I could gave bought for a total of £1.50. Complete rip off.

Sold some Beatle photos and reel to reel tapes. Easy company to deal with, gave clear instructions for packing and sending items. Will definitely contact again if I have any further items to sell.

Shearing you are a disgrace

Shearing holiday 6th September, 5 days in Torquay. Well it wasn't Torquay as hotel was in Babbacombe 2 miles away. Coach pick up from Watford Junction arrived on time but we were then dropped off in a layby on a duel carriageway in the hot sun to await feeder coach which as 40 minutes late. One elderly passenger collapsed. Arrived at hotel many hours later only to find this 3 star hotel was nothing more that a tatty dump. No porter service, no room cleaning service, long queues at meal times for lack lustre food. My single room for which I paid a £69 supplement was up 3 flights of narrow stairs. Having hauled my suitcase up I discovered a boiling hot room with mold around the basin and shower, wallpaper hanging off the walks and water marks where they had obviously had a leak. The whole hotel was shabby, old and dismal. The 24 hour reception was closed most of the time, in fact there was a shortage of staff generally and those that were working were sullen at times and although they tried their best they could do with customer service training.

I can honestly say this was the worst holiday I have ever had and I will never ever travel with Shearings again. I have tried to find an email address for them to send photos of the appalling condition of my room but surprise surprise no email address or complaints department address to be found anywhere.

Shearings, Chargeback and the bank

Booked holiday, paid deposit last November. Shearings goes into administration on 22 May. Applied to Santander for chargeback. Told not entitled, told them their own terms and conditions stated I was. They hung up. Rang Santander again, spoke to different person who put me through to Molly who sent me forms to apply for chargeback on my debit card. Returned forms on 4th June. Waiting for Santander now. If chargeback refused will be contacting ombudsmen.
