Do not have any of the means of communication referred to in their reply. Arranged a home visit by phone, mentioned circumstances. Representatives arrived as arranged.Tests carried out, frames selected and bill paid. I have had sight problems and can attend my hospital without a referral. Spectacles arrived within two weeks and all is fine. Highly recommended

Arranged home visit, eye test due. 4th March ,they telephoned late afternoon," unable to attend " emergency arose. Rearranged for 29th March! No communication what so ever. Rang to confirm, no joy, no show. Will obviously go elsewhere.

As an eighty year old with mobility problems I was looking for a chair with positional controls. My intention was to identify a suitable one by visiting HSL then obtaining one via online sales, probably refurbished. After a very short time my intention was negated.Prior to purchase my wife, son and I spent two hours in the company of Dawn and I cannot speak to highly of her pleasing, educational and professional approach. Without hesitation I highly recommend HSL York.

Regards my previous review, I failed to clarify that I have only taken deliveries via Hermes. I have never used them to deliver on my behalf. I apologise for any misunderstanding my previous review may have caused.

Gave 5 to be noticed. Have used Hermes regularly for a considerable time completely satisfied. Latest delivery, however, 9th of January, not yet arrived. In correspondence with them "fingers crossed"

Red painful rash ,contacted GP. Advised to see "good " pharmacist. Attended Boots in Easingwold. Seen by lady pharmacist who suggested I had cellulitis. She took my GP details, contacted them, I had a GP appointment and filled antibiotic prescription within an hour. This was all due to the professional efficiency and consideration of Boots pharmacy. My thanks.

Decided to invest 1 year fixed rate bond. Initial company I tried were too detailed and lacked efficient communication. Investec were efficient ,informative and competitive ,if not the best rate. Looking to have further investments in the near future.

On my suggestion my wife purchased prescription, sunglasses and tinted spectacles, she is delighted. I have recently purchased varifocal sunglasses, recommended for driving , which I am really pleased with. Subsequently I am awaiting delivery of varifocal tinted spectacles for screen work. Both pairs of varifocal, prescription spectacles will have cost £217. I admit being initially apprehensive with regard to the longevity and quality of the spectacles but having now constantly worn a pair since October 2020 I have no hesitation in highly recommending both the service and products.

I have been a customer for sometime. Convinced my wife to try them. We used the home trial service and purchased two pairs of varifocal spectacles. Sunglasses, and tinted for general use and particularly with an iPad. The entire process was seamless. The value exceptional, half the cost of a single pair previously purchased from a local optician. I cannot speak too highly of glasses direct.

Received an email from Support @Vehicle Information Group one minute after DVLA notified me that my car tax renewal DD had been set up. I was advised that the payment was not complete, followed by payment procedures. There is a slight difference in the title but I believe it is worth reporting. I apologise if I am wrong

Received renewal quote 10 percent increase over last 12 months. Utilised all the usual comparison sites with varying amounts of projected usage depending on which site you use. Avro came out on top which rather pleased me. My only reservation is paying a fixed monthly amount when I submit a monthly reading so my actual usage is known. Excellent customer relations and I am impressed with the "no exit fee" indicates they have complete confidence in their company policies.
