I recently reached out about replacement parts for my pump. I ended up getting disconnected from the chat because I didn’t respond to an inquiry quick enough. I was told I had 5 minutes but that chat... See more

I bought the Elvie Stride on recommendation of the local Baby Speciality Store.
Was really happy with the pump, until it broke after merely a month of usage.. I went back to the store where I bought it, but they told me they couldn't help me as Elvie insists on doing their customer service themselves.
I tried contacting their customer service, but their phone lines would give me an automated 'the helpdesk is now closed' message (even during hours that it was meant to be available). After a week I finally got in contact with their customer service, and they promised me a full refund.
At this stage I was really happy with the solution and was looking forward to receiving my refund.
Flash forward to 8 weeks later. Having contacted the customer service more times than I can count.. Still begging Elvie to actually process the refund they promised. I'm only met with big promises and zero follow through. Absolutely hopeless. Dont know why you would treat your customers that way.
My last contact was today and they told me my case had been 'escalated and completed'.
Good to know that for them it's completed with not actually paying back your customers the money they're owed...
Please do yourself a favour, don’t use this brand, for you will never see a return of your money if they break.
I have two pumps of Elvie, with technical problems of not being able to switch on after more than one year not using it and mould problem in the tube. Problems are always not under warranty. The worse is, i would pay myself for the replacement but it is not available. So each pump lasted only for 3 months. It is totally a scam.
I purchased an Elvie pump in early July and have spent weeks trying to get a simple invoice so I can submit it to my insurance. Despite calling customer service multiple times, sending several emails, and using the chat feature, I still have not received the proof of purchase.
This should be a basic, straightforward request — yet Elvie has made it incredibly difficult. The lack of follow-through, clear communication, or accountability from their customer service team has been beyond frustrating.
It’s disappointing that a company catering to postpartum and breastfeeding parents — a time when efficiency and support matter most — has made something so simple feel like pulling teeth. It leaves a very bad taste in my mouth about the company as a whole. I expected more from a brand marketing itself as innovative and supportive of mothers.
My pump stopped working so I reached out to Costumer Care. Everyone I worked with was caring and eager to find a solution. My order came the next day. I was blown away! Thanks elvie!
Worst customer service I have ever experience. The product didn't work well, one of the pumps didn't have any suction at all. It has taken us more than 3 months and only thanks to a legal claim already in action, they finally said they would give us a refund (2 months after the product was returned to them). We will see if the money really arrives. Horrible experience to go through during the first months of your baby's life with all the natural stress that comes with it. On top of that, for that price, the product is not worth it at all, we have been way happier with the performance of the cheap Chinese pumps from Amazon
We've taken out a small claims court case against them... via. Gov.uk
4 months (which is also the age of my first baby) I've been chasing them for a refund ultimately returning the faulty unit to then be told they would no longer honor the refund as they'd been taken over by another company, they offered a credit note instead... but then didn't send that to me, then chased again and eventually got the credit note... whichhhhhh didn't work! And so on..I'm actually so bored of reliving it. Anyway needlesd to say as soon as the court case was opened against them they suddenly become extremely repsobsive lol and we are still waiting for our refund (they've managed to write and ask for the case to be closed against them once we receive the refund.. the cheek of it!)
Great costumer service. Broken piece replaced promptly.
I have the elvie stride. I’ve been using this pump for 3 months. In this timeframe I have had to have it replaced twice.
The first, was in the first 8-10 weeks. The pump would feel like it was pulling my nipples. It felt like the pump was disconnecting when it did this. This caused some discomfort. Spoke to customer service and sent a new Machine.
Then this week, milk started to leak into the tubes when I was pumping. They put this down to me not assembling it correctly, however I did nothing different and felt it was all put together properly.
I was still under warranty and they said they would send replacement parts as I couldn’t use the pump due to this.
My complaint is that these parts were not sent out next day and I have had to use a hand pump in the meantime. I exclusively pump and my supply has dropped meaning I’ve had to supplement.
As a brand that is centred around the importance of breastfeeding I feel unheard and let down. I feel they don’t understand the difficulty in having to wait to receive replacement parts when you rely 100% on pumping to feed your baby. “1-3 working days” 3 days is a long time to wait seeming you expense of the product and the impact on day to day life being a breast feeding mum.
This product is expensive, not something you would think would need replacing twice in the first 3 months.
I would not recommend due the product and feeling unheard and fobbed off by customer service.
Good help when my pump broke, received a new one quick
Considering how expensive the products are, the customer service is terrible. I bought an Elvie pump and was trying to buy replacement parts from the website but nothing is clear as to which version of the pump parts are suitable for. Move on to an hour long conversation where they sent me a JPEG rather than a web link and then told me they were escalating the problem (I just wanted to be given the links to the right parts!). They said they would get back to me in 48h but it has now been a week.
So easy love that I could leave chat and return later
The WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m sure the good reviews must be fake. NO support whatsoever. The only time you actually ever get a response is if you pretend you’re enquiring about placing a new order. There is no help when selecting the option to follow up on an order. I placed an order over a week and a half ago and I’ve still not received it. Elvie are not helping and now are ignoring me when I’ve asked for a refund. They steal your money and then ignore you! I wouldn’t ever order from them again. Disgusting service!
Great customer service, very helpful. My defective pump was replaced very quickly. I really appreciate how responsive and helpful she was!
Easy to get in touch with and got the help I needed fast.
After talking with customer service they were fast and helpful with getting me my replacement pump. Especially after telling them that one of my pumps wasn’t working correctly. They even told me what to expect when I’m waiting for the part and what to expect to receive from Elvie as an email.
The issue I have is on the chat when looking for the reasons why you want to talk to customer service didn’t have my exact issue. This should be updated with other or bad pump suction. This would’ve worked better than the selection that they had available.
Elvie stride breast pump stopped working after using for 2 weeks- contacted Elvie and was told that they would not send a replacement tube despite it being a faulty item. I explained that I exclusively pump and that the item was faulty so would need replacing within 24 hours so I could feed my child and not lose my supply- told to buy my own replacement part then told that actually they don’t sell it anywhere (including Amazon). Have left a new mother unable to keep a supply or feed her child. Terrible customer service they should be ashamed.
I’m happy with the Elvie customer service, it was quick and fast, the resolution has been dealt immediately for me so thank you!
I have bought an Elvie trainer and two breast pumps and have had issues with all of them. Both breast pumps stop charging at different times, one they replaced as it was still under warranty, but the other was just out of warranty - and they don't have a repair service. The trainer stop connecting to the app very early on, which made it unusable, but I was too busy with a new baby to contact them and when I did it was once again out of the 2 year warranty.
Their response was: 'Since the Elvie Trainer is already beyond its warranty period, it’s possible that the internal battery or Bluetooth component may have degraded over time, especially with regular use. These components can affect connectivity with the app.'
I had used it at the most 10 times, and a product that cost this amount should be designed to last longer than 2 years (their warranty period)! AVOID!
Disappointed and Frustrated – Not Worth the £200
I had high hopes for this pump, but it broke just after the warranty period expired. When I contacted customer service, I was told to purchase replacement parts—only to find out they aren’t even available in the UK, only in the US. Eventually, I was told the parts would be sent to me as a courtesy, but over a week later, nothing has arrived.
Each time I contact customer service, I’m told the issue has been “escalated to the appropriate department,” but I’ve received no updates or clarity. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing, especially after spending £200. The lack of support and accountability is unacceptable. Steer clear.
