After about 1/2 year, my Nettle is still working and I keep feeling better! Especially my mood in the second half of my cycle - it is not only „less instable“, but genuinely happy! Also, the App is improving continuously.
The only problem is the price of the delivery to germany (of the refills). 18 Euros. That’s too much, but I guess we have to thank Brexit for that, not Samphire Neuroscience. They reacted immediately and now allow for 3 refill packages to be purchased at the same time! Love the service!
It’s the product that counts and it does make a huge difference in my life!
Thank you!

I have had a wonderful three months so far. The Nettle headband has helped with my cramps and my PMDD extreme emotions. The app that you use along with it has meditation for each phase of your period. It also let's you log all of your emotions, over or under eating, really anything that you associate with your menstrual cycle. The longer you use it and the more often you log things the more info it has to show you how you are really feeling and doing. You can compare the changes over the months easily. The people that work at the company and I think the founder are so responsive and helpful with every question and issue that I have had. I really love this company. It is weird to say I feel seen and cared for by them. I just don't think I have felt like this with any other business.

I used Nettle for four full cycles and was honestly surprised by how much it helped. My PMS symptoms—especially the fatigue, brain fog, and low mood—improved so much. I felt more balanced and clearer in the days before my period, which had not been the case for a long time. My pain also got better: I took less medication overall, and it worked faster when I did need it.
Generally, I think it might take more than four months to see the full effect, especially for pain, but what I did experience was already a big shift. The 90-day trial (and the extra time I was offered) made it feel safe to give it a proper try, and I really appreciated that.
The customer service is genuinely some of the best I have come across—kind, quick to reply, and clearly invested in helping people feel better.
So overall, I highly recommend this product - I really wish I had had this two years ago!

Nettle is very expensive and so I was skeptical that it would be worth it. I have used it for two cycles now. This is not a lot of data to compare, but both of these periods have been a lot easier to deal with than my usual ones - less pain, but more importantly, I didn't really experience much PMS/bad moods/mood swings in the preceeding days like I usually did. I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend. My only downside is that the app is a bit unclear about the protocols - it says "consistency is key" but I don't know if that means "use at exactly the same time every day" or just means "use it every day" for the five days before your period (in my case).

I got Nettle in the hopes that it would ease up my mood swings before my period. It has been absolutely great! It has smoothed out my mood and helped with the mild depression that always preceded my periods. I feel like the lows are so much better now.

I have been using Nettle for quite some time - more than half a year now. It has been hard with uneven cycle but I finally reached a place where I feel better most of the time. I was taking strong pain medicine for up to 5 days a month and it was damaging my liver. I couldn't sleep or work without it and the time between pills was excruciating. I am now not taking any medicine at all for my pain, it's way more manageable, I am more productive and don't feel mentally as bad. I wish it would solve other unfortunate symptoms that come during those days, but I at least feel like a person on those days!
I am especially happy for the support the team provides - any question, concern or idea is taken into consideration and I am happy to see so many improvements in the app.

I have used nettle for one full cycle and currently using for my 2nd cycle (period due in 2 days). So far, the difference has been unbelievable. I have endometriosis and PMDD, suspected ADHD but haven’t sought a diagnosis and don’t intend to. I have an 18 month old, cycle returned 6 months pp and I’m still breastfeeding. When my son turned a year old, my endo pain began to rear its ugly head again and was progressively getting worse every month (the pain was awful). Also PMDD so bad since having a baby, it was becoming completely debilitating and making parenting post ovulation horrendous. I had improvements using nettle from the word go, my ability to function and the reduction in brain fog is huge. I’m slightly “sharper” post ovulation with a more masculine cut throat attitude, but I feel more in control and at peace, in the type of way that makes you able to stay calm and not get so overwhelmed, be efficient and not overwhelmed. First period was significantly less painful, still took feminax but only once on one day :0!
2nd cycle, I was feeling so good I almost forgot to use the headband! But started feeling quite overwhelmed and foggy then realised I was due to use it the next day, pretty instant relief and feeling confident, in control and able to take on challenges. Fingers crossed this period also had reduced pain! Thanks so much

Three months ago, I was considering whether I should buy Nettle. Other users’ experiences were consistently positive, but I had already tried so many things that helped others but didn’t help me. I’ve suffered from severe menstrual pain and intense PMS symptoms—both physical and emotional—since I was 10 years old, so for the past 30 years. I had tried everything: supplements, teas, light therapy, electrotherapy, nutritional therapy, exercise, massages, essential oils, hormones. Nothing had worked.
When I discovered Nettle, I had pretty much given up hope that anything could still help me. But I gave it a try—hope dies last, as they say—especially since you can test the device for three months. And it helped me!!!
In the first month, I didn’t notice much of a difference yet. But in the second month, my PMS symptoms were reduced by 50%, and while I still had menstrual pain, it wasn’t as intense and lasted only one day instead of two. Then in the third month, my PMS symptoms were reduced by 80%! I still have menstrual pain, but the intensity has decreased again a bit.
I am truly so grateful that there are such wonderful people who developed this device and brought it to market to help people like me who have suffered so much for so long!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm using to see if it improves the symptoms of my recently diagnosed ADHD, which seem to have got much worse now that I am post-menopausal. It's a bit hard to tell but I am finding that I am generally more cheerful and that it improves my executive function ie getting stuff done, to some extent. I've been using it most days for a few months. It's a bit of a long term project for me and more research obviously needs to be done but

This device has helped me to feel like myself again, my symptoms are so much less severe than they used to be! I have been diagnosed with PMDD as a result of early perimenopause - the mood related symptoms were overwhelming, and I would often need to miss at least one day of work each cycle as a result. I'm four cycles in to using Nettle and will never look back. The changes were gradual and cumulative, but by the third cycle I felt as though my life had completely changed, I haven't had to take a day off work due to PMDD symptoms since the second cycle of using Nettle. Em is great! I emailed during my first cycle to ask about use for PMDD and she replied within a few hours with some very useful, tailored advice. I have been using Nettle for 20 consecutive days of my cycle and it has been nothing short of a miracle. The anxiety, feelings of intense grief and low mood which used to feel crippling towards the end of my cycle, are now muted and completely manageable - and don't last as long as they used to. HRT helped my symptoms to become cyclical, and Nettle has helped to reduce the psychological symptoms significantly.
It's worth every penny. I used Klarna pay in three and I'm so grateful for this as a payment option, as I would have struggled to pay the full amount up front. The 90 day money back guarantee makes this a no-brainer for anyone with severe pms, PMDD or perimenopause symptoms.
I am really impressed, I suffer from endometriosis and it has really helped. Also my PMDD symptom have been helped. The support and customer service has been great too.

Absolutely incredible! I was worried it might not arrive in time before my travels, but I received such a reassuring and compassionate response confirming that everything was on track. On top of that, it even arrived sooner than expected! Truly outstanding customer service — I couldn’t be more pleased!

Being in the US, I had to run out and buy a EU to US plug adapter to charge it, but it was so worth it!!! On my first cycle using it, my PMDD was greatly reduced, but I realized I could probably benefit from using it a little longer than I did. For my second cycle I started using it earlier in the month, and will keep using it a couple days longer than I did before. It can take a little while to find your ideal number and timing of sessions, but it’s easy enough to use and I love the results I’m getting from Nettle so far. Also, the stimulation from it is much milder than I expected, to the point I actually felt a little silly in hindsight, but that’s great because it’s not uncomfortable or distracting if you’re doing other things while using it.

I'm really torn over how to rate this, as I love the company, their research, and Emile the founder is amazing in both her knowledge & customer service. However, ultimately I bought the product to treat my PMDD, and sadly it didn’t work for me. I do seem to be in the minority - I’m quite jealous of all these “life changing” reviews, as SO wanted it to work, but it just didn’t.
I admit I’m not a black-and-white case, so perhaps I’m the problem, not Nettle; I have PMDD, I’m perimenopausal, plus my cycles are irregular and I’m not sure I’m even ovulating having come off birth control - Emile was very helpful in advising how to use Nettle with PMDD / an irregular cycle & I ended up using it every day except whilst I was on my period.
As I said, I really really wanted it to work, I can see the research & science is there, but for me, unfortunately there was no improvement in my PMDD symptoms for the three months that I used Nettle.
Despite this, I really would urge anyone to give it a go, so long as the 90-day returns policy is in place, because if you suffer from this hideous condition, surely it’s worth a try??

Really loving this product and company! They reply fast to questions and concerns and try their best to help you.
As for the Nettle I've used it for 3 cycles and it's helped me with my symptoms greatly. It's easy and feels safe to set up and I actually look forward to using it every month.
You can try it free for 90 days and return it if it didn't fit you but I will definitely keep mine!

I've only had the nettle for two cycles so far and one started so early I missed the chance to use nettle, it seems like the app will help get better predictions for when the cycle will start.
I have noticed feeling calmer and less pain, which I'm very grateful for
Checking back in after 6 months, my pain and mood symptoms are definitely reduced to a manageable level. I'll be using nettle for the long run and I'm very glad I bought it

I have PMDD and when I first heard of Nettle via the instagram algorithm, I was super skeptical because I did not want to get my hopes up as I’d done many times before with various treatments which always failed to help my PMDD and which often came with a ton of side effects. However, after a particularly bad month I finally decided to take the plunge and try Nettle, since I knew I could return it for a full refund if I didn’t feel a difference after three months. The first month went by and I didn’t feel a lot of change, I wanted it to work but I was super skeptical that it would. By the second month I noticed amazing improvement in most of my symptoms. I no longer had severe mood swings, I did not have severe cramps or fatigue, bloating was visibly reduced, my relationship with my partner improved vastly, and I even used Nettle when I felt an incoming migraine and it stopped it in its tracks. The only thing the Nettle didn’t help me with was insomnia (but this could be from general stress rather than hormones). I really cannot sing the praises of this device enough and urge every woman out there who is suffering to give it a try! The Samphire website gives all the information about clinical trials for Nettle as well as tons of content about female health and research in general, a topic I am very passionate about. Since it’s a start up, the CEO and founder, Em, is very hands on, and checks in with new users regularly to listen to their experience and answer any questions they may have. You can even schedule a video call with her in person! As a scientist myself, it’s so amazing to see research translated into practical tools helping women! The world needs more companies like Samphire, and I cannot thank Em and team enough for giving me back a quality of life I thought I’d lost forever!

I've been using the device since November 2024. The device is worth every cent. I had problems with the first device, but I wrote to Em and received all the support I needed, as well as a new device. Fantastic service and the wonderful Em. THANK YOU.
But the most important thing is that it works, the PMS symptoms and pain have decreased, I feel relief and endless gratitude that finally someone paid attention to women and their problems. I'm so proud of you, Em, you did it!

Nettle has been life-changing for me. It has significantly improved my mental health, not just during the intense phases of PMDD before my period. But I actually feel much better during the rest of my cycle, too. The improvement of my pain has been slower and has little effect in my case so far, but I don’t mind that, considering how well it works for my mood. Samphire has been truly brilliant in supporting me with questions I've had and also have been very generous when it came to technical issues. The founder Emilie is very accessible, and makes time for you. I am routing for Samphire Nettle and hope that many women will benefit from it - I certainly tell everyone about it.
