I recently reached out about replacement parts for my pump. I ended up getting disconnected from the chat because I didn’t respond to an inquiry quick enough. I was told I had 5 minutes but that chat... See more

My customer service representative (CSR) was lovely, kind and efficient. Both times I’ve interacted with the CSR with this company, I will sayIt was always really easy. Whomever is doing the hiring is doing a great job at picking out employees.
I’m writing this review to share my experience with others looking for a hands-free pumping option. I’ve been pumping since last October using the Elvie pumps, and compared to a more conventional electric pump it has allowed me the freedom to do things whilst pumping. I don’t use any other pump, so have used Elvie 4-6 x a day every day. The difficulty with these pumps (bought via Boots.com) is the short life on them and the customer service from Elvie:
-after six months I’ve come to realise the suction has reduced so have had to gradually increase the intensity. This is apparent by pressing play and watching the flange not moving as well as it used to, and at times, not moving at all (not fixed by substituting the flange)
-Elvie customer service are helpful to a degree in promptly replacing the hubs after a series of detailed questions over WhatsApp, the issue for me was the replacements are faulty as after only one or two uses the same issue is happening
-an additional issue is all of the replacements I was sent have faulty bottle release buttons so the bottle isn’t 100% attached to the hub and sticks when you release it causing some milk loss. I suspect this may be the issue some are having when they talk about them being leaky. You only know what you know, and I’ve only come to release this by comparing the buttons with my original hubs.
Out of the 3 replacements I’ve now been sent, only one has decent suction for part of the time and all have faulty bottle release buttons. when I’ve gone back to customer service to escalate all of this as a complaint there’s been complete radio silence, so my faulty replacement hubs aren’t being replaced, my messages are being ignored, and I’ve been told there is no complaints team. There is no one to write to on their website. This seems really poor!
In summary the hubs are great when they work, but won’t work for long. Beware of issues with the hubs and poor process by Elvie in dealing with these. If the warehouse had sent me hubs as good as my original ones from Boots to begin with my experience would be much more positive
It was very short and efficient. Donna assisted me right away and understood my request without any difficulty. 100% would recommend.
We had a problem with the device charging. When contacting customer service, they understood the issue and sent a replacement for next-day delivery. Amazing services, highly recommended! :)
Very helpful customer service, easy and convenient to access. Clear and professional instructions from somebody who knew the product well and was able to offer helpful advice. Issue was quickly resolved.
I had such high hopes for the Elvie breast pump especially as the price is so high, but i’ve had nothing but issues since purchase (9 months ago).
The parts (valves and seal) stop working after a short period of time and then require costly replacements. The suction isn’t great on the pump and you can’t steam sterilise (had to get a separate bucket for milton) the pump is a faff to put together and then find it takes multiple attempts to get it working. I often get to the end of a pump session and find no milk (when breasts are full)- you cannot see if there is milk collected during the pump session due to the design of the machine.
Customer service is a joke- they just send the same ‘how to’ guides you can find on website and always copy and paste the same (word for word) text about how they care about my experience etc etc- it is so disingenuous given that it’s an automated reply.
Lastly- the app is a joke- often tells me I’ve pumped 70-80mls despite the suction not working and only pumping a tiny amount.
I have started to use the Medela hands free pump and it is so much better. Better fit, better suction, better customer service, better ability to see how much milk you’ve pumped.
I ignored poor reviews for Elvie and wasted my money on an overpriced product, I urge you not to do the same. Spend your money elsewhere and avoid the hassle.

My cap was broken, and I contacted customer service via WhatsApp and received a quick response. Unfortunately, they sent the wrong replacement product. I informed them, and within the same week, I received a new cap.
Despite the miscommunication, their service was fast!

Unfortunately, my second cap also broke, and my second experience was completely the opposite of the first. I was promised an email with the shipping confirmation of my new cap within three working days. Five days later, I reported that I still hadn’t received anything. Again, I was promised an email within 48 hours with the shipping confirmation.
You guessed it… it’s now been 10 days, and I still have nothing. Online, I see that Stride parts are temporarily unavailable everywhere.
I’m starting to lose trust in Elvie, even though my first experience was so positive!
Customer service is awful. Please note that if you have any issues with what you buy they will not honor the refund or issue a replacement because it is not through their company, even though the Amazon site says elvie store and has their entire logo and branding on it. In addition, their storefront says specifically to shop on Amazon, but they will not honor the refund or the issue of a replacement.
The pump on the left is the brand new parts that I purchased and washed. The silicone doesn’t fit the cup and will not seal.

Very easy to contact and agents are friendly polite and helpful
The customer service is unparalleled. I’ve had to contact CS twice total. First time was regarding a breast shield fitting. Second time was regarding a technical issue with the pump motor. I was assisted quickly on both times. I especially remember the second time when I contacted about the pump issue. It was about 3am when I was awake for a pumping session and my pump had been failing. I had to seek for help and I used 24/7 online chats. I was skeptical, thinking I might be chatting with a robot and receiving scripted responses. But instead, I was helped by a real person who placed a replacement order for me. The chat interface was easy to use and the chat history is all kept. Even when I took some time to respond, the chat didn’t end or expire. The tech support was quick to provide solution. There was no lengthy review or approval process. Elvie really understands the pump journey for a new mom and, of all challenges with motherhood, really does their best to help make pumping easy. 4 days later my replacement pump showed up at my door step!! Aside from the amazing customer service, the Elvie stride pump has allowed me to pump for my baby in a way that wasn’t available for my firstborn. The design of the Elvie stride (double) is brilliant. The consumable parts are made with good quality and great design. The entire system works so well for me and the design is very thoughtful and purposeful. I would only recommend to include a timer feature on the Elvie app to make every pump session easily timed. Thanks Elvie! I would gladly recommend Elvie to anyone and everyone I know for its superior portable pump and unparalleled customer service.
Elvie enters administration!!!! Ive bought a dodgy pump and the customer service is none existent, I now know they have gone into administration and no longer exist in uk. I will now be purchasing a Medela or Pippeta pump which I should of gone with in the first place.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
It would be 0 if they was an option. The single pump is £169 and it broke after day 2. The duckbill split. By day 5 the battery would only hold power for 2x20 minute pumps on setting 5. When messaging the Elvie team they claimed it should last at least 5x30 minute pumps. They acknowledged that there were broken parts and this was within 28 days of purchase. However they said they a refund and return were not possible due to it being an intimate product (which is incorrect for any faulty item). I was told they would send an email to explain how to start the refund policy but have not received anything and they are no longer responding to messages.
Absolutely disgusting customer service, breaking consumer rights and faulty product.

I'm so confused. I have had the same experience as some of the other reviewers here - just cannot get any engagement from Elvie customer service. I want to make a formal complaint because as someone else says, this has been precious time trying to sort out my milk supply with my first baby and it has been damaged by the delays caused by Elvie. It's been so upsetting. Yet I see someone has put a good review here and Elvie has responded, so there is a way of speaking to them?!? I would just really love to know how to liaise with a person at the company.

We bought a breast pump beginning of February 2 weeks later it broke. Through a very awkward and difficult returns policy we returned it. It is now 2 months later and we still have no refund. Customer service is terrible. Please be careful when considering an elvie breast pump

I am very disappointed that my pump stopped working after only 11 days of use. They told me that they are not going to replace the faulty part which is very inconsiderate since it is quite expensive. With that price tag, you would expect better quality and service! Completely unacceptable!

Went for an Elvie pump despite the astronomical cost and it broke within the first three weeks of use. I have been waiting for 3 days already for my replacement to be sent under warranty and have just learned that there is an issue with their warehouse which means it hasn’t even been dispatched and they have no idea when it will arrive. Meanwhile I’m struggling with engorgement and oversupply. Customer service full of empty platitudes about how they care about “supporting women” yet can’t actually do anything to help. Useless. Put your money elsewhere

Our Elvie cups don’t close properly, which causes us to frequently lose milk. We didn’t realize this was a defect until we saw how other cups are supposed to work when used by a friend. That’s when we concluded ours must be faulty—possibly part of a bad batch.
We reached out to support hoping to resolve the issue under warranty, but unfortunately, Elvie does not replace cups that are more than 90 days old. What’s most frustrating is that the warranty terms are not clearly displayed on the Amazon product page—they’re only available on Elvie’s own website.
We bought the product in October, but since our daughter wasn’t born until February, we didn’t discover the issue until April—well past the 90-day window. So we were left with defective, unusable cups and no support.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a product is faulty within the first six months, customers are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement. And we notified the issue within 6 months.
This experience has been deeply disappointing. It feels like Elvie relies on customers not noticing issues until it’s too late. I wouldn’t recommend their products to anyone after this.

Terrible customer service. Our pump failed and was unreliable. When speaking to the customer service team we kept getting pushed around to different departments with no one coming back to us. Nothing was resolved. Useless. Do not buy!

I have been a customer for many years now, having purchased Elvie double pumps for two separate deliveries and then more recently an Elvie Trainer. Each time if I had any issues and had to get assistance, the customer support was always quick to respond and so helpful. I will always recommend Elvie products not only because I believe and have experienced the quality items they produce, but also because of the way they stand behind their products and support the customer.
