Still awaiting responses to 2 emails sent about six days and three days ago respectively.

I don’t find it acceptable to have no response from a company from whom I am renting what will be my family‘s home on wheels for two weeks.

Poor Experience with Cancellation Policy and Customer Service

I booked a camper rental and added cancellation insurance to protect my trip in case I needed to cancel. Unfortunately, I had to cancel for personal reasons well in advance of my travel dates.
Despite having purchased the cancellation insurance and canceling THREE months before the scheduled trip, the company refused to honor the cancellation coverage and would not refund any portion of my deposit. This was extremely disappointing, especially given that I provided ample notice.
Adding to the frustration was their slow and inefficient customer service system, which made resolving this issue even more difficult.
Based on this experience, I will never use this platform again and cannot recommend it to others. The lack of transparency regarding their cancellation policy and poor customer support make this service TERRIBLE

The terms and conditions, including the eligible reasons for cancellation and required documentation, are outlined at the time of purchase and in the policy document provided.

That said, we appreciate that insurance policies can be complex, and we’re always happy to help clarify how they work or assist with the claims process where possible. We’re sorry to hear that you found our support slower than expected—this isn’t the experience we want for any of our travellers, and we’re working to improve our response times during busier periods.

missleading rental posts and yescapa does not change them

I rented a van which was supposed to be a 1998 vehicle, in reality it was an 80s van. It was really hard to understand that the vehicle was an 80s series from the photos because there were no frontal photos of the van. In the description of the vehilce the owner said that that registered in 1998, which might be true, but it was an old model, not produced in the 90s.

Yescapa removed this part from my review leaveng the owner's description as it was. I find it very missleading to have this kind of rental posts.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

We rented a camper through YESCAPA in Spain and had an accident that cost us €900. Their insurance DOES NOT COVER ANYTHING AT ALL. This was the worst experience we've ever had with any rental agency. Make sure to read the insurance contract carefully—it's the biggest scam on the market. I hope this company goes out of business.

For more clarity on the situation, the insurance included with your rental was fully comprehensive, with an excess of €1500, meaning it covers any damage above that amount. You did have the option to reduce the excess to €500 at the time of booking, but as that wasn’t selected, the full excess applied. Since the damage amounted to €900, it fell within the excess, which is why the cost was your responsibility. The funds were transferred to the owner to carry out the necessary repairs.

We do encourage all renters to review the insurance terms carefully during booking, and we’re always happy to answer questions ahead of time. That said, we regret that this has affected your overall experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

Yescapa is such a great resource...

Yescapa is a great resource for independent travel. We were able to find the right camper van for our trip by type, price, location, and features. If I could add a filter or two it would be to break out the deposit (filtering how the deposit is paid and to whom would have saved me so much time) and also having a record of who I sent requests to. It was very frustrating that Yescapa only keeps a record of "accepted" but not sent booking requests.

1 Month waiting for my deposit

We did not have problems when booking the Van. Everything was easy and smooth. But when we return the Van the owner find a little scratch on the paint, which we didn't made, we think it was done when parked. And almost one month later we are still waiting to know something about our deposit, which is 1500.
Also don't get insurance because it doesn't cover anything, that's why the deposit is that big. And also
insurance excess is 500, so we have to pay 500 for a little scratch we have not done because the insurance you pay for it's not worth it at all.
In addition, it has been me who has been contacting yescapa and the owner to have some news, as they don't give any information.
So disappointed with this company

Viva Camper Live Mallorca!

From start to finish, Pepe made the whole experience very smooth and easy for us. We hired the ‘98 VW camper for 4 days and drove her around the island with no issues - we even drove some steep hills and windy roads, and she took them on like a champ! Pepe was also very attentive and friendly, answering any query that we had quickly. All in all, I cannot rate Pepe and his business Camper Live Mallorca highly enough!!
