I rented a motorhome that had a leak from the grey water tanks. On the day of rental, grey water tank was empty so I couldn't be aware of any leak. When I filed a claim with Yescapa they advised that I should have thoroughly inspected the motorhome and notify them. Am I a mechanic? How can I thoroughly inspect an issue that is not visible? Do Yescapa except me to fill the grey water tank and waste water to check if there is a leak? Why doesn't Yescapa hold the owner accountable to what happened? Disgraceful customer support, I lost a full day (140 euros) because owner requested I go to a mechanic, moreover humiliated due to stinky water leaking in forbidden areas. I will never rent another motorhome through Yescapa.

Fabio was very friendly, flexible and answered all of our questions fast via WhatsApp. The car wasn’t that big, but had ecerthing we needed and we could always find am parking lot. There was also the Opportunity to Book Extras - that was Really nice. What could be better: a more comfortable mattress and also a better Coffee machine. It was already broke and so we bought a New one.
We rented a campervan through Yescapa in July 2025, but the reservation was canceled at the end of the month. At the time, we were told that the refund would be processed shortly. Unfortunately, that never happened.
It’s now October, and we still haven’t received our money back. There is no customer service phone number available, making it impossible to speak with someone directly. We have sent multiple messages through the website, but all we get is a message saying that our request is "in process"—with no real update or resolution.
This has been a very frustrating experience, and we expected better support and transparency from a platform like Yescapa. As users, we are extremely disappointed and just want our refund, as promised.
I recently had a situation where I booked a camper van from Indie Campers through Yescapa. Although I had paid the full amount on Yescapa, the payment did not go through to Indie Campers’ system. As a result, the Indie Campers platform still showed the entire amount as pending payment.
The issue turned out to be a technical error, which was eventually handled internally between the two companies. Initially, contacting either Yescapa or Indie Campers was quite difficult, but after some effort, Yescapa took the lead in resolving the matter.
In the end, the trip was cancelled, as I was unable to cancel it myself through the platform. However, I received a full refund, and I am fully satisfied with how Yescapa managed the refund and communication process, especially considering it was a cross-platform issue.

Rober picked us up at the airport with his Mobilvetta van. As this was our first experience, he took the time to explain the van's operation and features. It is very well equipped and luxurious. It comes with all the necessary equipment. Rober was always available via WhatsApp and gave us good advice. The bus is in perfect condition and fully matches the description on Yescapa. The experience was a success: we were able to discover the island from north to south. On the return trip, Rober was also there at the airport despite the early hour. Our first experience was a success: many thanks to Karla and Rober for their trust.

Dealing with individual owners is much better than some company that is just in it for the profits. Owners care about their rigs and want you to come back for a second rental. I had a great experience with Yescapa and would do it again.
The owner did not stick to the terms and conditions when returning the vehicle. After the return inspection extra damage was added to the claim and taken immediately from the deposit despite both parties signing and agreeing ! The insurance policy that was paid for it not fit for purpose as the excess for my rental was 1500 euros. Yescampa need to improve the Customer Service as I needed to get the founder and CEO involved before I received a response from Customer Services. The actual camapvan for good but everything else left a nasty taste in the mouth. If you are thinking of supporting the Yescampa Crowdfunding investment I suggest that your money would be better invested elsewhere.
It is impossible to communicate and ask questions to the vehicle owners before having rented them. Given the commitment that renting a van represents, this is truly pathetic.

We had a fantastic time on our ten-day trip to the Basque Country! The camper was very comfortable and easy to drive. It was equipped with everything we needed and more: a great solution for a couple's road trip! We highly recommend it!

El espacio de carga es suficiente para 2 personas (teníamos 2 mochilas y 1 trolley); la nevera es espaciosa y funciona perfectamente. La batería auxiliar tiene una duración muy alta. Había todo lo necesario: camping gas con bote de repuesto. Café, sal, aceite y cubiertos, ¡todo muy bienvenido! La cama es muy cómoda. Es una furgoneta de tamaño reducido y se conduce muy fácilmente. Hicimos un recorrido por Andalucía en unos 10 días y todo fue perfecto. Agradecemos a Manuel, que fue muy amable y correcto. ¡Lo recomendamos! 🇬🇧 The van is perfect: it is as described in the ad and in the photos. The interior is comfortable and easy to use. The cargo space is enough for 2 people (we had 2 backpacks and 1 trolly); the fridge is spacious and works perfectly. The auxiliary battery has a very high duration. There was everything you needed: camping gaz with a spare cannister. Coffee, salt, oil and cutlery, all very welcome! The bed is very comfortable. It is a small van and it is very easy to drive. We did a tour of Andalusia in about 10 days and everything was perfect. We thank Manuel, who was very kind and correct. We recommend it!

This is the worst company ever, I’ve rented an RV few hour after picking it up it breakdown in the middle of the highway. They don’t have any service support just contact us form that took them more than 18 hours to come back to me. Not only they wasn’t able to resolve the situation they just cancel my booking without alternative solution and provide me partial refund although that I didn’t got any service.
For summary I’d never recommend anyone to rent with them.
second time i use this amazing experience. its just upgrading the vaction,the freedom. the way and the target are comftreble and easy for the useres...
the only thing was abit sawer at the end. that the owner was not straight about weak plastic part that came off. and he asked from us extra of 100 euro. two hours before our flight back .
but we did not let it destroy our vaction.

Sadly enough we had a bad experience with Yescapa. We've rented a van for a 5 days trip from a girl in Spain (€200/night) and ended up paying for a repair on something we didn't break.
It turned out the van wasn't maintained at all and a lot of stuff was broken: the back door didn't close properly, the drivers door couldn't be locked from the outside, the sliding door was super hard to open and close, the tap was broken....when we've noticed after our first night sleep that the folding bed was broken, we've contacted teh owner immediately. First the owner said it wasn't our fault, but later that week she said we broke it. We ended up paying for the reparation costs even if we know that we didn't break it. I've tried to contact yescapa, but I coul only reach them by mail and they answered me after days asking for photos. We've send them photos and after that it was complete silence.
