Impressed - with a slight issue
Edit:: I have recieved the bag, albeit a little later than I had hoped. The bag is of very high quality, can fit a reasonable amount in for its size and is possibly the most comfortable bag I have ever owned.
I ordered from Stubble and Co, expecting that when I paid for next day delivery, I would in fact get the parcel the next day.
I was wrong, unfortunately enough the company seems to not advertise that they use third party mail carriers and as such they cannot guarantee a next day delivery window - even if you have paid extra for it.
The real let down is the fact that they only appear to deal with Customer related emails from Monday - Friday, which means if you have any enquiries about a product you have purchased, good luck getting any updates until the next working day.
Apparently Too Many Orders (two) Is Suspicious
TL;DR: I received an email saying they wanted to check whether my second order was fraudulent (even though I’ve never used this company before), and was then told I’d have to return the free gift even if I just wanted to exchange the item — despite their website clearly saying that’s totally fine. Farcical customer service.
Did some research, picked what I thought was the best bag, and ordered the 40L version — came with a free gift too. Great! Then I thought about it overnight and decided, since they offer free returns, I’d order the 30L version the next day instead as might be better for the gym, along with a couple of other items I liked.
Then I get a weird email from someone called Devante at Stubble: “We wanted to reach out as we’re currently experiencing a high number of fraudulent orders — please be assured this is a safety precaution and not an accusation.” Very odd. It was sent at 17:01 (the office closes at 17:00), and I had paid for next-day delivery, but there was no tracking info on the second order, so I had no idea whether it had even shipped.
The bags looked decent, so I asked if I could keep the 30l instead of the 40l keep the free gift. Nope — I was told I had to return all items while they investigated “fraud.” Couldn't even organise a return, all items had to be sent back. Totally bizarre (maybe even a little funny?).
Anyway, I returned everything. On second inspection, the bag wasn’t that great, and frankly, I didn’t want to spend money with a company that doesn’t value customer service. Probably worked out for the best.

Very poor service
Very poor service, paid for next day delivery as i wanted the bag for going away. the bag wasn't even dispatched for 2 days after ordering. Tried to contact them by email many times, no reply. You cannot contact them by phoning them as they don't show a contact number anywhere, they ask people to email them. But then they just ignore your emails. Avoid, they take your money and then ignore all communication!

I really wanted to love Stubble & Co
I really wanted to love Stubble & Co. After hearing so many great things, I bought one of their bags with high expectations. But after just a year, the front zip came off completely. I kept using it, hoping it was a one-off—then today, the back zip failed while I was on the tube, and my laptop fell out.
Now I’ve got a broken bag and a potentially damaged laptop. You start to lose confidence in brands when the core promise durability doesn’t hold up. Really disappointing experience after all the positive talk.
I’ve updated this review from one star to three to reflect the fact that a new bag was issued pretty quickly but that doesn’t necessarily mean my faith in the product has been restored, let’s see how long it lasts.
Great Customer Service - 5 stars!
The zip on my bag recently broke after long (and hard) service. Stubble & Co we're great and offered to repair the bag couriering it to themselves, all for free. Unfortunatley my trusty bag had to go to the 'bag farm' in the sky to retire but I was sent a new bag as a replacement. The bags are great and the cutomer service was excellent. I was kept up to date with personal messages at all time. I loved my bag and the customer service made me feel really valued as a customer. Thanks a million!!
Don’t waste your money
I was initially drawn to the look of the Everyday Backpack, but unfortunately, it’s incredibly uncomfortable to wear. Despite being advertised as offering “ultimate comfort,” the bag feels heavy even when empty. They also claim it has a breathable back panel, but after wearing it for a few hours, my back was drenched in sweat — it’s anything but breathable. I contacted customer service to ask if I could exchange it for the smaller 15L version, thinking the issues might be due to the size, but they told me they don’t offer exchanges and couldn’t help me. Overall, terrible customer service. Save your money and avoid this product.

Great customer service
Great customer service. The courier failed to deliver my purchase, and then in that time the bag I wanted went out of stock. Stubble's customer service reserved me a bag and set me up for expedited delivery as soon as it came into stock. I was told it would be a 3-4 week wait for new stock however I received my new bag within a week. Very happy with the bag and the customer service.
Very misleading advertising
Very misleading advertising. They specifically put on some product pages pictures with easyjet, claiming their bags are fit for their cabins, but measurements are way off and not in line with current guidelines. I would be very careful checking every single bag before buying anything there

Nice, but isn’t long lasting
The bag looks nice and I get a lot of compliments on it. Appreciate that it is waterproof too! I really liked the orange interior and different pockets. However, I’ve had my bag for a little over a year now and it hasn’t lasted particularly well - especially when you consider the price of the bags. The magnet that holds the roll top together has detached itself, the zip for laptop compartment has broken and therefore unuseable, the fabric is starting to wear at the front and I noticed a split in the strap the other day. I also find that I can’t actually fit that much in the bags either (I bought the smaller backpack), my previous back pack held far more despite looking smaller. It’s disappointing as I wanted to have a practical bag that was a more ethical choice and would last me years but I’m afraid I’m going to have to buy another elsewhere now. Personally, I would say that you can get a better and longer lasting backpack for half the price. Not worth the money at all.
Repair of back back
Thank you so much for repairing my 15l white roll-top bag. It’s such wonderful work and I am sure will give me many happy years using it.
The tailoring is impeccable.
I am so pleased.
Fantastic product and the best customer…
Fantastic product and the best customer service of any company I’ve ever dealt with. Definitely the best everyday use back pack on the market!
Perfect Compact Bag
I love love love my small rolltop bag (15L). I never thought I’d dig a rolltop form for a backpack since I like a lot of pockets, organization and something that isn’t bulky but this bag has all that. It’s a compact bag that fits my smaller frame and still fits all my work stuff conveniently and is rugged enough to handle weather without worry and doesn’t have to be handled gently. Easy to wipe off. My new favorite backpack for sure.
Poor build quality.
After reading rave reviews I requested the commuter backpack from my girlfriend for my Birthday. I transferred the contents of my work back to my new backpack. Arriving at work for the first time with my new bag I attempted to unzip the front pocket to have the zipper fall apart in my hand. My girlfriend contacted stubble & co who sent out a new zip toggle with instructions to use pliers to bend open the zip clasp add the new zip toggle and bend back. I was disappointed to find I was expected to DIY fix my brand new bag but followed the instructions. 8 months later 3 of the other zip toggles have fallen apart and I am looking for a new bag for my commute. Very disappointing poorly made product!

I've been a long time Stubble & Co
I've been a long time Stubble & Co. user. I've had the everyday backpack for years now. I use it to go on travel adventures, work, personal, it goes everywhere.
Recently the chest strap broke, most likely from constant wear and tear. I reached out to customer support for help and I immediately had a new chest strap mailed out to me. Madison was kind, helpful, and fast.
Thank you so much for such a pleasant experience!
Fantastic!
The experience with the brand has been fantastic - the team was very diligent to answer to my questions and the backpack is amazing!!!
Quality Product
Purchased a Hybrid backpack for travel and what a gorgeous and practical thing it is. Excellent quality and does everything I needed stylishly and efficiently. Accommodates all I need with space to spare. Really happy with the product and the service from Stubble & Co.
Poor build quality but great customer service
The bag looked good but unfortunately it only lasted 1 and a half years. The top of the bag split near the handle and it quickly deteriorated. I'm now looking to replace it with an Ortlieb because my previous Ortlieb is 8 years old and has been through much more use before failing. I don't recommend this product and I will never buy again.
EDIT: Stubble and Co customer services reached out and sent me a new bag due to the fault of the previous one. I was not expecting their customer service to be as good as it was and so I am improving the rating. While customer service was a 5 star experience I cannot give 5 overall due to the fact the bag still failed within 2 years. However, its a very good sign about how the company is run that they tried to make up for the issue. I will consider buying their products again in future.

My favourite bag
My favourite bag, and I have used a lot but always come back to stubble & co, works great for travelling and commuting with my 16" MacBook, nice and comfortable too after having issues with straps on other bags.
Great services and great quality of…

Thank you very much, Mary Rose.

The full package and experience
The products are just amazing (purchased two backpacks) but it’s so much more. From the online experience to the packaging to dealing with returns/exchanges this company has mastered the whole supply chain and customer experience. Can not recommend highly enough.
