Nice looking bag but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed as this supposedly rugged backpack has already split a seam on the strap. Doesn't exactly bode well for long-term use when the bag is one month old. I wouldn't say I've even really put it through its paces at this point.
I'm now in the process of logging the problem within their repair portal but how confident can you feel when you have problems so quickly after puchase?

Just to update this to say that Customer Service at Stubble contacted me directly after this and were understanding and very helpful. They had a replacement out to me within 24 hours so that I wasn't without a bag for almost any time whatsoever. Hopefully this was just a random faulty item and the replacement lives up to the initial expectations.

I’ve had my trusty mini roll top for a couple of years now, never had a fault in it and plenty of space in such a small, professional bag.
Unfortunately the zip broke off out of the blue and customer service were quick to offer a repair and ultimately send a replacement bag. Customer service just as good to match the quality of the bag!

I love the bag, but it arrived with a fault, so I contacted support, and they were able to easily sort me out a replacement, which came within a few days. I am incredibly impressed with the quality of the bag and the level of customer service provided by them. Will definitely buy something else in the future.

Have to admit these guys were fantastic. I had a faulty product that came through with discolouration and they immediately acknowledged their issue and sent me a replacement without me needing to exchange which was great. Though, whilst this process was happening, the price of the bag reduced further and upon asking, they refunded me the difference which I thought was great.
Quality of the bag is excellent and a brilliant EDC bag.

Poor quality and customer experience
Update: having seen my review, I was contacted by a helpful member of the team to address my issues (which I have left unedited below to help future readers). There was also recognition that their systems don’t quite work as they should and that their communications were below what I should be able to expect. I have therefore now received a refund and I have improved the rating of this review marginally on the basis that I only got this resolved once published here, and not without some inconvenience for a product that I would still describe as significantly below the expected quality for the price point.

The bag I ordered looked cheap on arrival (although certainly wasn’t cheap to buy!) so I decided to return the bag because it didn’t have the quality look I expected based on the photos on the website. However, the returns portal was broken wherever I tried to initiate the return, so i followed the instructions to contact them via email in the case of problems. I did this several weeks ago, and have heard nothing from them despite chasing them.
My order is no longer in the return window, so now I’m left with an item I don’t want, wondering if I’ve been scammed, and having to go to the hassle of claiming the refund through my credit card company.
Very poor all round from this supposedly reputable company.
The packable sling is great
The packable sling is great. Perfect for everyday use/ festivals/ events basically I’ve used it for everything. Quality is top tier, easy 5 star.

Extremely satisfied with both the bag and the customer service! I've had the bag for two years now and I'm still very happy with it. Recently, the zipper broke, which was outside the two-year warranty, yet I still received a new bag. Amazing service! I bought a Stubble&Co bag in February of this year, the service was great and the quality of the bag was fantastic. I have recently had a small issue with the bag and I received really quick support from Eliz in their customer service team and she sorted it straight away. You can tell a lot from a company by the way they treat their customers when something goes wrong and this lot couldn't do more.
Certainly not waterproof
I bought the Everyday Backpack for a trip to Japan, which I am still on.
One of the many reasons for spending so much on a backpack like this is the durability: One necessity is that it's waterproof.
Everything was fine - I was very happy with the bag - until we were caught in a sudden downpour of rain. When we got back to our hotel I discovered that everything in my bag was wet, including my passport, which was damaged.
As nothing was left open, I can only assume that the water penetrated the material the bag is made from, which is incredibly disappointing, not to mention inconvenient as I can no longer trust the bag to keep my belongings safe and dry.
Luckily it's very warm in Tokyo right now but, on returning home, I will not be taking this bag with me on future trips.
After receiving an email from Ben at Stubble & Co, asking me to review the bag I bought, I tried to...three times. My one star review has yet to appear on their site...
I had a previous issue with this company last year: I had bought a bag for my partner which was never delivered. I left a voicemail, asking them to look into it with the courier, but received no answer. I had to contact them again for help. All was resolved, in the end.
I regret giving this company a second chance. I couldn't justify recommending them to anyone.
Edit:
I did have an email conversation with Stubble & Co, and was advised that their bags are only waterproof when it comes to 'rain and splashes during day to day use', yet this is still not reflected on their website. I feel that saying something is waterproof gives an immediate impression that it will keep your belongings dry. As this is not the case, it's, at best, misleading and, at worst, deceptive.
They did, however, offer me a new bag but, as the first one proved to not be fit for purpose - it was not even remotely waterproof - a new one will not give different results, so I declined.
I'm just glad I didn't use the laptop section, as I would have had to fork out for a new device, as well as the money I lost on the bag itself.

Bought the RollTop L20 and using it on a daily basis for work. Super convenient, comfortable and with enough space for laptop and cloths for a two / three day business trip. Well designed, with attention to details and orgonomy. Love it!
Outstanding customer service
I bought a 15l roll-top bag just under 2 years. Brilliant bag, great pocket to securely hold a laptop and really satisfying roll top with a hidden magnet to hold it shut. It’s really rugged and has loads of useful features and pockets.
Over time, both zips broke through everyday use and left a rather sharp edge. It occurred to me that I should contact Stubble & Co to see if they could fix the zips. I got a very quick reply suggesting I could send the bag away to have it mended. Soon after I received an email saying that it would not be possible to repair the bag and was offered a new one as a replacement. I provided my updated address and less than 48 hours later I have a brand new bag.
This was a staggeringly cool customer service experience that was. Totally how customer service should work - wouldn’t hesitate getting another bag from them and proof that buying direct from the manufacturer pays dividends.
