Very disappointed
We've had a sofa (with two electric recliners) and a chair, also a recliner and they have never worked properly. They came to check them, but they were no better.
We have complained, but totally ignored. Very difficult to make any contact. The store refused to accept any liability, and their 'ombudsman' made a ruling after just seeing a couple of photos - they would not believe our concerns. If we want them to return and repair the mechanisms, we'd have to pay £75, even though they should be guaranteed for 10 years!
Will never shop there again. Dreadful after-sales service, and poor workmanship. Very disappointed.

Terrible service - do not use SCS!!!
I ordered 2 armchairs from SCS and was advised delivery would be 7th March, but they 7th came and went with no contact from SCS. 2 weeks later I found that I could track my order on the website, which I hadn’t been told I could do. The website did not have a date to offer at that time. Last week I received an email advising delivery would be 28th March, that I would received an email and text message the evening before to advise of a rough time slot for delivery; it also asked that the space the furniture would go was cleared. I used my last day of annual leave to ensure I was at home all day on the 28th. I also had the old furniture removed as requested (which meant that there was no longer enough seating for my family, but we felt we could manage this for one evening). I received no email or text the evening before. On 28th I waited to hear from SCS until 11 before calling the customer service helpline. I was on hold on that phone line for 20 minutes before I chose the option of receiving a call back (the recording said my position in the queue would be held). I received no call back. Mid afternoon my husband called again and was on hold for 2 hours 30 minutes and then his call was terminated. Needless to say, the furniture was not delivered. I have sent 2 emails to SCS and have had no response. It is now Mother’s Day and I do not have enough seating for my family to sit together - it really has put a dampener on the whole day for me. The website still shows 28th March as the delivery date. I have no idea what is going to happen now, I have no more leave to take to be at home to receive the furniture, or when that might be. I can’t get any kind of response from SCS. To say that this has been a terrible experience is an understatement and if could leave less than one star I would. My advice to to shop anywhere else!!

Good service in store and delivery
Good service in store and helpful staff. Good delivery service. Dai and Scott were great in carrying and assembly of sofas. SCS customer service is very poor. Tried many times to contact them. Even with calls back option, no one from SCS contacted us. Still waiting for a partial refund.

Dai and Scott were on time, polite and very organised. They took all of the packaging away with them and placed the furniture where I wanted it.
Great service at this store
Great service at this store. Ollie introduced himself, asked if we needed any assistance. We carried on looking around, never hassled. Once we had made a few choices Ollie explained prices, fabrics, makes delivery times so we could make an informed choice. No hard sell, just good advice and great service. Chanel also helped us and is an asset to the shop. Many thanks .
Excellent delivery service
The delivery was on time both Charlie + Huw were happy and friendly they even looked to see which would be the best way to get our sofas into the house they were very careful when lifting the sofas in. We would highly recommended

Big Shout Out
Want to give a big shout out to our delivery drivers Russell, Simon, and Josh REF:527.
They called an our before delivery, and showed up on time. Profession at all times they assembled our furniture to a high standard, and took away all the rubbish. They even explained the operating features of the furniture as they were electric.
Only minuses were the call centre as they are a nightmare to get hold of. No one has an hour and a half to wait on the phone. Even though they called back, And we were missing a battery back but that was an order problem not a delivery problem. Well done boys.
Shout out to Ollie as well at the Cheltenham Kingsditch store who got us the best deal and was really entertaining.

The lads kept us informed regarding their arrival and duly arrived on time. They were very helpful throughout and even gave us some Italian aggregate!! The cat appreciated having a fuss made of her.
Ok up to delivery
Update on review given on 14th February after our visit. We purchased there and then an ex display and told it would be delivered on 28th February, we opted for a delivery courier recommended by sales assistant. Come Friday we had received no communication what so ever from anybody, not SCS or the delivery company, impossible to get through to SCS either via email, telephone or their website.
In state of panic we had been ripped off having given them our money I remembered they said the courier name was Flymove. With this in mind I decided to google Flymove Couriers one came up in Gloucestershire I had nothing to loose and rang them to enquire if they did deliveries for SCS in Cheltenham, the reply was yes we did several yesterday (Friday 28th) when we were supposed to have our.
Flymove were very helpful they said who did you speak to send me your order number and address we can deliver today. Eventually we did receive our furniture on Saturday early evening.
Thank you Flymove for a great service, but SCS well your follow up information what happened? where is customer service?
When would we have received our furniture, if we did not know or remember the name of the courier. I guess we would have made another trip into Cheltenham to the store and find out.
From walking in the door to leaving whole experience great. Staff very helpful and friendly explaing everything whilst not being over powering and leaving us to wander round in our time.

Absolutely dreadful customer service unless you want to wait 128 minutes on the phone to pay for your goods. No way of contacting the store to ask/change about delivery options. Will wait in anticipation for the e-mail to be able to pay unless we drive into Cheltenham to the store.

Helpful assistance but unfortunately we did not receive the email promised, following placing our order. We were very concerned and disappointed that we were then unable to contact the shop directly and had to journey in to speak to staff. We are hopeful that all will go according to plan, without a hitch.,

Salesman Oliver was informative, knowledgeable but not pushy. Gave us options on payment , colours and controls on settee and chairs. Would give a 5 star rating but will wait until delivery ( will it be on date given ). Felt delivery charge was high , as given custom and paid cash , shall expect a great service for the price

Friendly sales people, Dean mainly dealt with us and very good but others were involved, did not push, made us feel relaxed. Let us use a tape measure. We purchased 2 x 2 seater sofa’s.
