Terrible service - do not use SCS!!!
I ordered 2 armchairs from SCS and was advised delivery would be 7th March, but they 7th came and went with no contact from SCS. 2 weeks later I found that I could track my order on the website, which I hadn’t been told I could do. The website did not have a date to offer at that time. Last week I received an email advising delivery would be 28th March, that I would received an email and text message the evening before to advise of a rough time slot for delivery; it also asked that the space the furniture would go was cleared. I used my last day of annual leave to ensure I was at home all day on the 28th. I also had the old furniture removed as requested (which meant that there was no longer enough seating for my family, but we felt we could manage this for one evening). I received no email or text the evening before. On 28th I waited to hear from SCS until 11 before calling the customer service helpline. I was on hold on that phone line for 20 minutes before I chose the option of receiving a call back (the recording said my position in the queue would be held). I received no call back. Mid afternoon my husband called again and was on hold for 2 hours 30 minutes and then his call was terminated. Needless to say, the furniture was not delivered. I have sent 2 emails to SCS and have had no response. It is now Mother’s Day and I do not have enough seating for my family to sit together - it really has put a dampener on the whole day for me. The website still shows 28th March as the delivery date. I have no idea what is going to happen now, I have no more leave to take to be at home to receive the furniture, or when that might be. I can’t get any kind of response from SCS. To say that this has been a terrible experience is an understatement and if could leave less than one star I would. My advice to to shop anywhere else!!
