No care for customer

This was the first and last time i ever order from this company. They don't respond to e-mails sent to their customer 'care', they don't package with care either. I ordered three tiaras and all of them were bent because there's no protection in the too big box that was dented like heck!!! The wares are just thrown in an empty box and it gets send on it's way... So disappointing, especially as i did like the actual stores very much. No solution for the damages either. I paid so much money for the tiaras and they don't even fit my head anymore, they're always crooked on my head. i am sooo angry!! Claire's, you need to step up your game for real!!!

Avoid claire's

I had multiple times disappointed about claires in ireland. Got very expensive Stitch backpack for my daughter, zip was broken in 3 weeks. Got anklet for €12!, has broken after 3 wears and more other things.
In mostly shops no one asking for yor phone # or email to earn the points.

Waste of Time and Money

Don’t even bother wasting time and money. Website and app aren’t user friendly. Items break easily or some earrings don’t connect properly. Cheaper/discounted prices = cheap material. You get what you pay for. invest in good quality items that’ll last longer even if it’s higher priced.

Store isn’t open when it hours are 10-8

It’s 11:30 and the store hasn’t been opened and I ordered online to come to this.. I have a bday plans with my niece who’s present I ordered here. Now I have no idea how long before an employee going to show up to open the store to pick up my online order. Not really sure why a system would open two hour pickup and says hours of operation is 10-8pm if there is no employees to open the store for business. Did I waste my time? And how much time did I waste?

I'm sorry for the confusion, however the mall officially opens at 11am. They do open the doors at 10am for mall walkers only but all stores open at 11Am. There was a problem with staffing, which is probably the reason they did not open on time. But I can assure you that when the staff opens up for business the online ordering platform is opened up immediately, and any new orders are picked(if the item is in stock at that location) bagged and marked 'ready for customer pickup"at which time you will receive an email stating that your order is ready for pick up. If you did not get this email, then the order was not yet ready, Just to clear up the process. Plenty of effort has been put forth to get Google and corporate to change the hours listed online to the correct hours, however neither has done so yet. So there has been an employee made sign with hours of operation posted on front door. I apologize for the inconvenience that you have experienced when you came and the store was having to open later. There are only 2 people staffed at that location and they're trying their absolute best to keep the doors open for busines as close as they possibly can to the normal business hours. Again, we deputy l deeply apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. I hope that you allow my store and team(we're building back up) to earn back your business and also your trust. We will have a special discount waiting for you should you decide to give us another chance. 20% off of your entire purchase, and that's on top of the promos already in effect. Hope to see you soon. Poorly made rubbish

I purchased a pair of bracelets for my grand-daughters with "big sis" and "lil sis" beads. They were delighted but disappointedly the elastic broke on both within hours, leaving one of them in floods of tears. I felt I'd cheated them, but in reality it was Claire's that had cheated all of us with shoddy goods. I will not be buying from them again. Sadly I had bought them online and not kept the paperwork.

Permanent bracelet fell off and lost

My 2 friends and I made appointments for permanent bracelets. The girl had the hardest time bonding mine and even told me she didn't have proper training. I should have stopped right there. The bracelet I chose was $169 and it fell off within 2 weeks. I lost the bracelet because it is very thin and didn't even know it fell off and Claire's won't do anything about it. Said they could only replace if lost within the first couple days. It's been 2 weeks. So much for a permanent bracelet. Save your time, money and headaches and don't use them.

I was given a fake fifty dollar bill at…

I was given a fake fifty dollar bill at one of the Tulsa stores. They refused to make it right. So my thirty dollar purchase turned into a eighty dollar purchase. They would have had Me arrested had I given them one, yet they give me one and then tell me to just eat it.

Claire’s Waltham Cross

I took my 3 1/5 year old daughter to have her ears pierced and I can’t praise the girls in they’re highly enough. Vicky and the other lady (I didn’t catch her name) were amazing, patient and so kind. My daughter is so happy even though she was really scared initially. You girls are fabulous thank you so much xx

My 6Y old girl asked me to take her for…

My 6Y old girl asked me to take her for ear piercing last Saturday. We booked at Kingston store and went to do the piercing. As soon as we walked in ,the atmosphere wasn’t good there. 4 ladies at the till and all grumpy. I asked how much is the cheapest price to do the piercing? She said £50 Then i said ,but online before i booked clearly says,that cheapest is £22 kit…She said no ,we don’t do for £22 and i don’t know what you talking about.I asked who can give me the answer then that online is one price and here different? She said i don’t know 🤷‍♀️ I said,but this is weird! Online 1 price and in store tottaly different story. Then i asked again what is the cheapest price …? She said £30 Well,i said why didn’t you tell me then at first when i asked you about…? She said because we don’t recommend those £30 for your child and bla bla bla. I said i thought i know my child better then you and i can decide what is good for her. I asked what is cheaper but not what you recommend. I found this very upsetting! Just greedy for money!
Yeah and one more thing! That Rapid lotion £15 should be optional. I have 3 in home and i still been forced to buy that one as well even i said i have allready 3 at home. £15 extra for no reason. I will never ever go there back again!!! The lady who done our piercing,she didn’t even say hello to my girl or other single word. She works with childrens,she should be more trained how to distract their anxiety and etc. They left us in shock to be honest.

Unacceptable pricing difference between shop and online

I was very disappointed with my experience at the Tonbridge branch today. I purchased 2 barrettes and was told that they were £6.00 each. I commented that this seemed expensive and was told by the assistant "We don't set the price" I checked this on the online website a couple of hours later only to find they were on sale there for £2.40.
I feel that the difference in price between online and shop cannot be justified.
I only wish I had read other reviews before buying as then I would have realised what a dreadful reputation Claire's has.

Hello. Just wanted to clear up any confusion. Most retailers have separate sales in store and online. Claire's is no different. You can do a price match if you present the price at the register and show how much you found it for online on our website. However, you will then forfeit in store sales. Hope this helps!!

Great service - awful security guard

I went to Claire’s in Gloucester town. The assistant was most helpful and nice. I even got discount on my items.

My only complaint is the the security guard. As soon as I walked in he watched me and moved every time I moved with items in my hand. He made himself obvious. The items were near the door. I suggest the display be moved as he made me feel like a criminal. I was purchasing 3 small hair accessories. I wanted to look at more items but the security guard made me feel very uncomfortable.

I give 5 stars to the lovely assistant and no stars to the security guard. Pick/follow people who actually steal items not those who pay for them.

Disappointed by Service

Title: Disappointed with Service

I recently visited Claire's store with the intention of getting my baby's ears pierced. However, I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. The staff at the store refused to perform the piercing, citing their policy or other reasons.
I understand that there may be age restrictions or safety concerns, but I expected the staff to handle the situation more professionally and provide alternative solutions or explanations. Their lack of willingness to help left me feeling frustrated and let down.
As a customer, I believe it's important for a store like Claire's to be accommodating and understanding, especially when it comes to services they offer. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular store fell short of my expectations.
The store manager said to leave and threaten to call security. This shows he’s unprofessionalism and laziness.
I wouldn’t have someone like him representing the store when he scares clients away and makes them feel discriminatized.
