Really rude & miserable manager at the…

Really rude & miserable manager at the Folkestone branch!! After spending a considerable amount of money in store, one item needed returning. She was really rude & sarcastic. Clearly needs more customer service skills. I was tempted to ask for a full refund on everything! It's overpriced in there anyway.

Quite worrying that a company can…

Quite worrying that a company can advertise cowboys without vetting reviews. Doesn't give much hope to customers who are paying out a lot of money to rogue traders. Having been told by an advisor that Bark is similar to yellow pages and is an advertising platform only, means any Tom Dick and Harry can advertise work without being professionally qualified!

The overwhelming majority of customers' experiences on Bark are positive, but we recognise that with such a large volume of jobs being agreed on our platform, problems may arise on very rare occasions.

We do not claim to vet any companies who use our site. Our role is simply to put you in touch with a professional in much the same way the Yellow Pages, Google or an advert in the paper would do. We provide public profiles on every professional and an open review system to allow all prospective customers to carry out their own due diligence before hiring any professionals.

This being said, we do take any reports made against professionals seriously, and we have removed the company you reported to us from our platform.

You may wish to consider taking this matter further with your local authority or Trading Standards.
