Party at claires serpentine green hampton.
Kirsty set up with free hand tattoo lots of games and fun that the kids enjoyed she really interacted with all the girls and did the music they liked. you can tell a lot of time had been put into the party. Very impressive and would do it again.
Claires not thinking about customer retention
Claires are in Administration so not giving refunds for now can be understood but they are not allowing exchanges either.
They are not allowing us to collect points on purchases (which is ok) but we can't use vouchers or rewards already earned either.
Customers are losing a lot with no refunds and no loyalty benefits and there are a number of changes without notice which is unfair. In store, a customer argued and walked out and another customer left their purchases when they couldn't use their rewards.
I left my purchase when informed no refunds and can't use my £15 rewards voucher as it was too risky to make a £20 purchase.
Surely maintaining Customers by keeping them satisfied by usong what they have earnt should be a priority during this time to assist with sales if the business goes on.
Claires US allowed customers to redeem their vouchers even during bankruptcy. Claires EU/UK should respect and follow this.
Terrible Claire's Experience Cheltenham
I took my daughter to Claire's Accessories in the Region Arcade In Cheltenham and it was a huge disappointment.Cute earrings,but absolutely terrible service.Instore prices much higher than online and the staff were not willing to give an explanation - the manager would not even come over and speak to us, even though the shop was empty.The staff there were very rude.We ended up leaving as
we didn't trust them and went straight to

Claire’s (White City)
Went to Claire’s (White City, Westfield) to get my daughter’s ears pierced. Bethany was professional. However the other lady piercing my daughter’s right ear totally messed it up. She didn’t even pierce it on the marking. I have video footage and got blamed that my daughter supposedly moved when she was dead still. Don’t get your ears pierced here.
STEER CLEAR/DO NOT BUY
No one should buy from this company. Its a complete scam. Supposed to ge jewellery made by a retiring lady in the UK. Complete lies. These products come from China. I placed an order on the 2nd of June 2025. I'm still waiting as of the 24th of August. Many e mails sent and these are obviously bring replied to by a BOT as they just repeat telling me to be patient and that they will not contact their deliver company. Have now given up and lost my money. STEER CLEAR!
It would have helped if they had send me the correct colour of the dress I ordered
I received a dress I ordered today it was nothing like the picture in the internet very poor quality and no mention when I placed my order it was coming from China no information in the package on how to return this product which is definitely not fit for purpose not impressed with this company at all have asked for a refund but don’t hold out a lot of hope
Poor service and ripped off…
Went to get a stud for my recent nose piercing. Was advised that I could buy one of the ones used for piercing. Cost me £25 put it in a small plastic bag- literally just the earring in a plastic bag. Too sharp for me to put in my nose. Bled like mad. Obvs can’t return this. Complete waste of £25.
Won’t be back. Absolute rip offs.
Cardiff St David’s 2
I went to the one in St David’s 2 in Cardiff this afternoon to purchase a pack of bobbles, when I went to the till and want to use my £5 voucher that is going to expired soon and the fat woman on the till said I can’t used the voucher anymore as Claire’s went into administration, I was not impressed with the answer she gave me so I walked off and left the store as I don’t believe what she said and went into another store in St David’s and the staff there said to me ‘she wasn’t sure” but she did went online to checked for me and I did managed to purchased it at the end. No wonder they went into administration as the staff is so unhelpful. I worked in the retail industry myself.

A huge thank you to *Emma*, *Beth*, and *Flo* for making my 5-year-old daughter’s ear piercing such a calm, smooth, and positive experience. They were so kind, patient, and gentle, she wasn’t scared at all and left with a big smile. I truly appreciated the way they reassured her and made her feel safe. Terrible. My friends daughter wanted a nose piercing and the shop assistant did it with a gun but it caused a lot of trauma and when we went to 2 body piercers it had not gone all the way through and we were told it can’t be done with a gun and the wrong nose stud was used
Please please do not have it done at Claire’s see a specialist who knows what they are doing

Vaccine batch number
I travelled an hour in the rain with two young children for my youngest to get her ears pierced on a Monday morning. Do you know our appointment was cancelled because although everything else was okay and signed, the vaccine batch number wasn’t recorded in her red book. I did my research and prepared well before coming to this appointment, no where was it mentioned that vaccine batch number validates immunisation. So make this explicit to save people’s time.

I had one of the most upsetting retail experiences I’ve ever encountered at this Claire’s location. I was in the store with my 6-year-old daughter and briefly touched a display frame to check pricing for ear piercings. A woman who claimed to be the assistant manager immediately approached us in an aggressive and condescending tone, telling me off for touching the display and saying she now had to “re-sanitize” it.
When I calmly explained that I didn’t know it wasn’t allowed, she escalated the situation — raising her voice, shouting at me to leave the store, and even threatening to call security. Most shockingly, she told my 6-year-old daughter to “get out”, which made her cry on the spot.
I’ve never been treated so rudely for doing something as harmless as checking a price, and I was shocked by how this staff member handled the situation. There were no signs posted, no explanation — just immediate hostility.
It was an incredibly unprofessional and distressing encounter, and no child should ever be made to feel scared or unwelcome in a store like this. I’ve reached out to Claire’s corporate office and hope they take this seriously.
Claire’s in Wakefield trinity
We went to Claire’s in Wakefield trinity to get my son Christopher's ear pierced. The staff there were really friendly and helpful. Nicola was the lady who did the piercing. She talked us through everything, she was really reassuring to Christopher who was feeling a little nervous. After the piercing was done she explained how to clean and look after his ear. We would recommend Claire’s and the staff that work where to other friends and family. They were very professional and cleaned everything before and after our piercing

Made a piercing appointment for my six year old daughter this afternoon well in advance, turned up with plenty of time to spare to discuss the jewellery she would like. Had filled the forms in online etc.
Queue out the door for piercings, rest of the shop was vacant. Young man was very rude and would have preferred to be anywhere but in a customer focused role; found his attitude and general demeanour to be very passive aggressive.
Tried to ask about the different types of earrings for my daughter as she had a piercing last year that required medical attention and would have liked some better understanding and assistance. Met with huffing and puffing, just zero manners or bother in him at all. I understand it was busy but it was totally disorganised with the shop floor staff-maybe we caught them at a bad moment who knows. Younger lady did try to assist at least but seemed nervous.
Two piercing staff seemed much more confident in their delivery of service so Thankyou. It’s the only reason this review is getting any stars at all. My daughter is happy with her pierced ears and hopefully this time will be the last time they need doing.
Shop looked pretty tidy and organised so there’s a plus.
Bad communication
I went there hoping to get a nose piercing a few hours ago. The piercing and my age had already been registered and booked, when I showed up they said I was underage. Why couldn't they say that I was underage on the booking, that would save me going their and having to be disappointed
Really helpful and brilliant experience
Absolutely loved getting my seconds and cartilage piercing done in Inverness store the manager was amazing really knowledgeable listened about best placements etc definitely knew her stuff. Was made to feel welcome and gave me best advice for whats best for sensitive ears. She also helped ease my anxiety. I just want to say thankyou so much I love them.

Poor quality items and even worse customer service
Ordered 6 costumes for a party. First one opened was faulty and have been in touch with customer services about this for over a week. Slow responses, not answering my questions and all I wanted was to know which courier they wished the return to be made through for a refund. It’s very simple yet their team seems intent on making the process almost impossible.
