Wish I could give this a no star

Wish I could give this a no star. The Texas city Claire’s said we have to have a drivers license for a 14 years old to get an ear piercing. Umm since when do 14 year old drive? I’m her mother and was with her and they still wouldn’t do it. I will take my money somewhere else that doesn’t have this stupid ass rule.

Absolutely shocking experience

Absolutely shocking experience. Ordered a present at the end of august and was told it would arrive in 4-7 days. Was advised to wait until the 16th of September and still no package on the 16th. In contact and was told if get a refund which is pending atm..

an 44,42 euros' order which never showed up.
However no refund, no answer after 4 mails on your contact email from your website.
Impossible to reach anyone on the "phone number " either in France or in England. Ghost's number ??
That's the first time I'm in front of a company which doesn't take into account any problem after more than one year.
I've read so many bad reviews both on your website in France and ... in England. Just amazing that no one does anything despite 87% bad reviews. If zero star would exist ....
But of course .... if someone from your compagny goes cross this message .... I 'm waiting for your answer , still.

I'll give you all the details and hope to get :
- the refund of an order which never arrived
- the sending of my order place more than one year later.

Awful, not safe piercings…

I bought some ear piercing because in the store they promised me they were good materials and wouldn’t tarnish. After less than a week they started turning green and left my ears tinted blue…

Absolutely Disgusting customer service either by email or telephone.
Order received with a small ceramic dish (was to be a birthday gift) thrown unwrapped into a large Jiffy bag, obviously it arrived smashed together with various sets of earrings broken also.
I have now spent a whole day on the UNANSWERED customer service number from 9-5pm and tried without success to email my issues too. It’s apparent to me that both these forms of contact at CLAIRES are unmanned. Out of desperation I opted to ring head office only to find that is also the same contact number!!!!
What’s the point & what else can I do to get the matter resolved successfully. Judging by the aforementioned comments I’ve little hope!

Awful

Awful. Buy 3 get 3 is a total scam. Wound up with a huge bill because of the buy 3 get 3. There was NOTHING free. The sales girls didn't even know what it was even though there are signs all over the place.

Got one of the purple poofy balls first…

Got one of the purple poofy balls the first time. The ball was very entertaining, but the strap on top broke not even 2 hours after playing with it. The next time I also got the same thing, just a different color which was orange and the strap broke after I pulled the tag off (The tag is DIRECTLY on the strap) and as much as I love claires, the strap is super weak and breaks always.

Yesterday I took up their three for the…

Yesterday I took up their three for the price of two offer. Only realised when I got home that I had still been charged for three items. Returned to shop today with receipt. No that’s not good enough. I have to bring all three items with me as well. I don’t want to return anything. I just want my discount. Fuming at the lack of logic.Asked for the manager, but she was an only slightly older teenager than the shop assistant. Is it me, or does this not make any sense?

Always look at receipt. What they charged and how much they give back to you in change. Take your time even if there are customers behind you.

Shortest version possible. It was long and drawn out. Basically 10 year old granddaughter saved her money to buy items at Cross Iron Mills. She gave Claire’s 100 bill. She was short changed. Money was placed on table without the manager telling her what her change was. When I scooped it up (was at sidelines) and still with money in hand I counted it. Waited for other customers to be served. Manager gave her more money. Counted it again. Still short. At this point we asked for a full return. At one point over $100 was returned to us. I had honestly told her she gave too much money back and recount it. Meanwhile this money is sitting on the counter. When she took back money we were now short 6 dollars in which she refused to return. Also, there were many customers behind us and I told her and customers to go ahead of us. Money was still on counter. We came back to discuss how she was still short and she was refusing to do anything about it. She wanted me to give her 6 dollars so we could get our 100 bill back? I Don’t care if my granddaughter received 20’s etc. but if you give 100 and you return your items you should have the same Amt. you started with. (does that make sense. We are short $6 and give her an additional $6 would now make my granddaughter $12 short.) I told her if she could close down her till and see what her cash balance was to determine what was going on, but she refused. Meanwhile more customers in line. I didn’t want them to wait because the matter was going no where. Isn’t that a job of a manager? So I ended up giving her my phone number and told her to be honest at the end of night if she was over in her cash and to let me know either way. No call received. Doesn't surprise me! I also asked for Claire’s 800 number. I phoned 6 times. On the second ring it goes to voice mail and they will phone you back. The recording says their lines are too busy. Tried on two different days. Have not received call back and likely think I will not. Looking at reviews from websites they don’t get back to people. Who loses in the end? My granddaughter. Her money and her experience. She even said she will not go back. She doesn’t want to ever lose her money again. One star was too high of a rating for me at Claire's in Cross Iron Mills. Definitely not customer orientated based.

I tired to get my sons ear pierced at…

I tired to get my sons ear pierced at Claire’s accessories in Westfield shopping centre. The lady was very rude. Never had any patience. We were there for 2 hours. She never had any good customer service. Don’t get your ear pierced from them. Poor service. Won’t be going back.

THIS IS A REALLY BAD COMPANY FOR EAR PIERCING HERE!!!!
i know a lot of people who have gone here to get their ears pierced and the result is never good. one of them was lopsided and weren't even. another's got really badly infected

I am more than enthusiastic about…

I am more than enthusiastic about Claires. I had my right ear pierced at the first of June and my left ear pierced July 9th. Both of these experiences were really pleasant and positive. Their 3 week healing solution really works extremely well, my right ear was healed in 19 days and I replaced starter ear stud with one I had recently purchased, no issues at all. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Claires with no reservations at all. THANK YOU CLAIRES very much.

Don’t Order Online!!!!

I ordered something from them recently and they messed up the order because they use some idiotic convoluted shipping method where the order starts with UPS then gets transferred to USPS. Claire customer service said there was nothing they could do when my order was messed up and they wouldn’t resend it, they could only refund me. I still haven’t been refunded and I just will never get my order. I will never order anything from this company again. It’s ridiculous! I would give zero stars if possible.

NOT PROFESSIONAL IN PIERCING EARS. Please do not let your children be subjected to the unhygienic, unenthusiastic and lack of knowledge team. They claim they have experience via training but we ourselves went to different stores and was given conflicting aftercare advice they actually said the other store had a reputation of having issues and people returning. Honestly your children are precious and if you was thinking like us your child will receive a nice experience to make the ear piercing as nice as it could be, you will thank me for just taking your child to a jeweller where you will receive the correct job, good earrings and proper aftercare advice. They have lots of bad press as a brand just do a simple Google. Do not let another child end up in hospital because of marketing tactics that lure them in.

I would give zero stars if would allow. absolutely the worst company to deal with, horrible customer service, and wasted hours trying to cancel a subscription.

So had my nose pierced on the 26 of…

So had my nose pierced on the 26 of April and the nose stud came out on the Wednesday when back to were I had it pierced and the Lady in the shop said they was nothing that they could do trying to put the nose stud back in so I m to put it back in when on holiday and the nose stud came out this time I must have lost it when we got back from holiday trying to ring custom service On the phone for over 1hour so I sent them a message and still waiting to hear back from them .
