I would have given 5 stars until I saw the state of the floor at the Cheltenham Branch in the Arcade.
Brought the usual delicious pretzel dog which was expensive for £5.00. I sat down on the seating provided opposite the counter and was disgusted at the state of the floor behind the counter. (The door was open). Unfortunately I cannot upload photos as evidence.
The floor is filthy and it is not hygienic. What else is dirty that the customer cannot see and is hidden. I question the hygiene at this place. It was quiet when I was there, why was it not cleaned. Staff could also slip on the mess.
This has stopped me buying from there now as who knows what else is dirty behind the scenes and hidden. Disgusting.
I went to Claire’s in Gloucester town. The assistant was most helpful and nice. I even got discount on my items.
My only complaint is the the security guard. As soon as I walked in he watched me and moved every time I moved with items in my hand. He made himself obvious. The items were near the door. I suggest the display be moved as he made me feel like a criminal. I was purchasing 3 small hair accessories. I wanted to look at more items but the security guard made me feel very uncomfortable.
I give 5 stars to the lovely assistant and no stars to the security guard. Pick/follow people who actually steal items not those who pay for them.
Went to Timpson at St Oswald next to Tesco in Gloucester. It was a simple battery change on a small watch. £13.95 single battery or £19.95 for lifetime guarantee. This is ridiculous price for individual battery. Got lifetime guarantee in the end but this is a rip off from the company. Assistant was pleasant enough. I question if he is on commission for lifetime guarantee hence the high individual battery price.

In regards to our pricing, we operate a policy of giving as much authority and indeed autonomy to our branch colleagues as possible, given that they are the people on the ground and they know the exact nature of the work to be carried out. In these cases they stick to the guidelines, They are not allowed to go over the recommended price.
We do not claim to be the cheapest on the high street but we are one of the best and feel our prices reflect our quality and service.
Disappointing that RSPB want volunteers but not good at communicating with them. Applied for several posts and they have all gone but I have to chase this up only to be told this. It NOT acceptable. You need to appreciate people applying and be on top form with communication.
I want to Gloucester Co-Op in Longlevens this morning. I went to the till and the cashier Gemma left the till as I approached. I said to her shall I use the self service tills as she was busy. Those words were a red rag to a bull of which I got the brunt of. She stated that they were not in use until tomorrow. I replied I did not know that but what a great idea they were. Gemma went on a rant that the tills were doing her out of a job, the people with disabilities and the elderly cannot use them and she cannot stand them. I said it was personal choice to use them as there are always tills. She was fuming she was not consulted over them and then proceeded to ask the lady behind me her opinion while serving me. If this cashier is so unhappy she needs to get another job. She is lucky to have a job as no one else would employ her with such a loud over opinionated gob. Not customer focused. Did not tell me how much I had to pay. I checked the till. No please or thank you. I for one will be grateful of the self service tills so I do not have to encounter her loud mouth rudeness again. Appalling service.
Went to the Gloucester branch this morning to buy a man’s watch for a special occasion. I was clueless with so many makes and types of watch and I kept changing my mind on the watch I wanted. Claire who served me was patient, helpful and explained the different types of watches.
Popped into the Gloucester store today for Union Jack rug, throw, cushion covers and kitchenware (red and blue) all Union Jack colours related. Nothing at all. The store seemed to be lacking it’s usual stocked up range on all items. I asked a member of staff if any Union Jack related or Coronation related items would come in and she did not know. This was my 3rd visit in a month and the store items certainly are not as good as they used to be and it is expensive.

I have to say The Range had a great collection of Coronation items but not enough. I enquired about a few items and was told some might come in this week or might not and I would have to keep coming back. Sloppy attitude of member of staff who was in a rush and walked off (must have been her tea break!) when I went to ask another question. Take time for paying customers as you are letting the store down.

We are sorry to hear that you feel we do not stock as many items for the coronation as you'd wish/expect. We aim to have as many items as we can related to public holidays such as this. Sadly, we cannot advise on dates for when this will return back into stock.
I can always count on Dunelm for everything but not today. I asked the most unhelpful assistant as to where the Coronation items were (mugs, throws, cushions, towels, glasses, napkins etc). The reply was ‘by the till’. The only items were cheap looking tacky bunting and a plain red, white blue balloon pack as you joined the queue to the till. Unbelievable there was not a selection at all. Actually no selection. Big let down.

Second visit within 6 months. No improvement as to stock. Very little outdoor furniture. Nothing new in to offer. Very over priced goods and restaurant is expensive with slow service still.
No Coronation stuff in store. Not as good as it used to be unless you are OAP and get discount. Some plants look dead and yet are still being sold. No staff around to ask for help and advice as I was after a particular garden plant. Highfield Garden Centre has more to offer.
Very disappointing visit.

I visited the Gloucester branch at 12.10pm today to get bias binding. While I was considering which sort to get there was a member of staff scanning the other reels in the rack. This involved her throwing the reels past me at some distance into a basket. At no time did she say excuse me or move the basket nearer to her. On a few occasions she missed the basket and left them on the floor. I was picking them up and at no time did she say thank you or even speak. If I had not done this the items would be left on the floor.
She could see I was browsing and trying to make a decision and at no time made an effort to move herself or the basket. I had to work around both of them. This is unacceptable behaviour from a member of your staff.
My rating would be a one star if it was not for the lovely service I received from Natalie at the checkout. Perhaps the lady who was throwing reels into the basket can take and learn what manners are from her.
I visited the Blue Cross Charity shop today at 1.15pm in Tewkesbury on the High Street and was very disappointed with the attitude of the person serving. (The receipt said his name was Stein).He did not smile, speak, not even to tell me the price of the item. I paid and he still did not speak, not even a thank you. He did not offer to wrap the item even though it was delicate and only did so when I asked him to. He folded the item in small piece of bubble wrap, not taped down and no bag offered. Appalling service. I appreciate he is a volunteer but he is letting Blue Cross down with his attitude towards customers.

I ordered letterbox flowers to arrive today for a birthday. For no valid reason they were not put through the letterbox. I contacted Bloom & Wild through online chat and Vrinda was so very helpful and kind. New flowers being sent out to me to make sure recipient gets the flowers and £10 credit. Can’t fault this excellent customer service.
Very disappointed. I ordered a birthday balloon and a birthday card, chocolates and bottle of Prosecco altogether. Chocolates and bottle arrived separately and the recipient did not know who they were from. Why was the order split and arrived separately at different times. They should have all been delivered together as I paid altogether. Thanks Moonpig for spoiling the day.
Following on from my review above having had a reply from Moonpig, Moonpig told me to contact online chat about my review. I did and spoke to Terri who was very unhelpful and she explained the Company uses 2 different delivery companies. It was not stated when I placed my order that the items would be split and sent separately.
One parcel arrives with card and ballon and the other parcel anonymously - helpful not. I would not recommend this company as they are just as bad as the delivery. Sadly I would not recommend this Company.

I have the collar diamond blouse for work. It is our uniform. I saw someone at work wearing the round neck blouse in same pattern and loved it. Stylish, feminine and good quality. It is lovely. I got a size 14 as I don’t like snug fitting tops. It’s perfect. Excellent customer service and quick delivery. Will be ordering more blouses. Highly recommend.

I went to Boots Gloucester today to the Clinique section. No one was there except the security guard. I wanted 2 items to get the free gift box offer. I waited for a while and no one turned up, so I went away and came back later but still no one was there. This is not a acceptable on a Saturday morning. Boots in Gloucester is the only place to get Clinique.
Yet again on this visit I asked for an Advantage Card, none in store. There never is. Why not?
Very disappointing and does not encourage me to shop at Boots in the future.
Contacted Ginger Ray about a numbered balloon I brought from Hobbycraft (who won’t refund me as manufacture problem). I brought 2 balloons. Both were 16” but one was smaller than the other. I sent them a photo. I contacted customer services who says it was not there problem. Not helpful and did not issue refund or solution. Was for birthday banner today but unable to use.
This company is more about money and NOT giving a good customer service. Very disappointing. Would not recommend them.
