Title: Disappointed with Service

I recently visited Claire's store with the intention of getting my baby's ears pierced. However, I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. The staff at the store refused to perform the piercing, citing their policy or other reasons.
I understand that there may be age restrictions or safety concerns, but I expected the staff to handle the situation more professionally and provide alternative solutions or explanations. Their lack of willingness to help left me feeling frustrated and let down.
As a customer, I believe it's important for a store like Claire's to be accommodating and understanding, especially when it comes to services they offer. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular store fell short of my expectations.
The store manager said to leave and threaten to call security. This shows he’s unprofessionalism and laziness.
I wouldn’t have someone like him representing the store when he scares clients away and makes them feel discriminatized.

•High prices✅
•Unqualified, rude staff✅
•Infected ears✅
This shop should be shutdown for good everyone already agrees. This is the most disgusting and disappointing shop I've ever seen.

I definitely wanted Claire’s CEO, President, Manager to see the rude, unfriendly so call manager they have representing there company.

Went in to claires to get the baby ears piercing done already feeling overwhelmed about it but Michaela and Dana were excellent my baby did not even cry.....way to go yall

A few months ago i purchased an item from claire’s for a fancy dress party in claire’s galway. It turned out i no longer needed the item so i tried to return it two days later, when i went in the item was still in the bag with the receipt. When i was returning it the woman asked me the number on the back of my card and said it didn’t match the number on the receipt. She then said “i could have stolen it from someone and brought it in to try and return it” (the item was 11 euro). I asked her if the number could be different as i used apple pay to purchase it and she told me that no it made no difference at all and i couldn’t return it. Anyone working in retail should know that the numbers do change and when i looked it up online when i went home it confirmed that it can. She was supposedly a manager so i don’t understand how someone can have such little knowledge and experience and be a manager? terrible shop and she was extremely rude

Really poor quality jewellery particularly for nose piercings. At the price they charge it’s really really bad quality

Really really bad service here at the scunthorpe store. Shockingly bad! The store manager (Rosina England)& her child worker friend have zero training in how to run a shop or even deal with a customer. These 2 girls running this shop will lose all customers. They have zero interest in helping a customer & simply don't seem to care about their job. Will never come back to this store again. Hopefully they will be replaced with staff who actually know what they are doing.
I feel sorry for the owner of the branch... I hope they read this & realise they have employed clowns who don't care!

Absolutely awful. Do not order from them. Ordered online on the Thursday and was advised ready to collect within hours. Heard nothing, four days later I was still chasing my order which had been cancelled without anyone bothering to let me know and despite Track My Order status still saying ‘In Progress’. Was told my money won’t have been taken until fulfilled which was incorrect as it was showing as having left my account. Terrible, unsympathetic service from staff in the store I was due to collect from. I’ll never order or visit again and will tell as many people as I can to do the same.

If I could give them a 0 star I would. Yesterday went here with my daughter who expressed interest that she wanted her ears re-pierced after original piercings closed. Ty gave me the display with ear piercings to look over and she chose the stainless star earrings. The prices were on the back at $29.99 with ear cleaning solution and $39.99 with “quick” ear cleaning solution whatever that is. When I told her the ones she wanted Ty very quickly told me “Those are $39.99”. I told her that’s not what the board or website says and we didn’t need special cleaning solution.
She went to check with her manager and said yes that’s the price but I could give them to you for $29.99. I said that would work and like do it. She went back again, presumably to check with the manager if it would be okay AFTER the fact that she told me she could do it and after a lengthy discussion at the other side of the store, came back and told me that could not, in fact honor the price she told me because it was actually not okay. Such a waste of time and terrible customer service. Also a huge scammy BAIT & SWITCH. I doubt they ever even had the regular cleaning solution since they can get away with scamming customers out of another $10 for some “special” cleaning solution. Wouldn’t even bother going there again.

Ordered stuff on 4th April,not shipped until 11th, didn't arrive until the 18th. Claire's need to up their game if they want to keep Irish customers. From where I am standing,they want our money, but we should be grateful they allow us to deal with them. Very shoddy experience.

The employees were EXTREMELY RUDE. She close the door to my face while I was talking to her during my return and she didn't want to accept my return even though I had my receipt and the card that I purchased them with. So unprofessional I wish the store director could get back to me because they're is a lot more to it.

id give this a 0 if i can, i got my ears pierced, after it my ears started to hurt so i cleaned them everyday, even though i cleaned them regularly, my ears started to bleed, hurt, scabs came off. Then i realised the jewellery was metal not a gold like i asked. They got infected had to take them out, they are so much better now. would not recommend, they arnt professionals!

The ear piercing lady in A***** may be trying to be nice but her looks scare the kids. The 2nd person is nice and willing to help and the child was happy. I think that a company, when hiring a person, should also pay attention to appearance and courtesy.

The customer service rep Kristen at Claire's 3401 Nicholasville Rd #G - 176, Lexington, KY 40503 on 03/13/2023 5:30 PM EST was rude, disrespectful arrogant & thoroughly RACIST. Right from the very onset she gave us condescending looks but greeted White customers. I had booked my appointment for my daughters ear piercing in advance. Kristen impolitely pointed us to a purple seat in the corner of the store & when asked twice gave an annoyed look & raised her voice to give us directions. She marked my daughter's ear spots unevenly & upon me pointing that out, she raised her voice yet again with utter disgust proclaiming, "I am not done yet". Ear piercing is not a thing that is re-doable. It will be there for life. Being a mother I have every right to voice for my daughter. Not even once during the entire time did she ever smile! Employees like Kristen should be fired immediately. People who have no sense of customer service & no respect for customers should not be in customer service jobs. This taints the reputation of Claire's. We are very very dissatisfied with our experience today & would never ever recommend the store to anyone! I bit my lips for the sake of my daughter but am profusely disappointed!

Don't purchase using Klarna as you will have a nightmare if you need to return anything

My 7 year old daughter wanted get ears pierced for her birthday...well she picked out the silver crosses and all that was said was that they contain nickel and get infected more easy...well 2 women came to do it...they did it and the earrings didn't go through!! They said because of the earrings my 7 year old picked out they're too big and they do that.. If that's the cae, why wasn't that told to me, mom, also??? She cried and cried cuz they did it again!!! Twice!!! How traumatic is that for a little girl??!?!! Terrible service and still made us pay for that!!!! Said that things in the store was 20% off so that's all we got for a discount!!! But that's terrible!!! I still feel bad for her and I think more could have been done besides a lollipop!!!! Wow!!!

The associate sit on the floor behind the counter to avoid interacting with customers. When my daughters ear piercing came out by accident a week later they acted like they did not remember us and insisted on an actual receipt to repeirce her ear even though I had the ear ring in hand. They insisted I have to spend another $80 for a new one. They were very unhelpful and rude.

I would put 0 if I could. Can't get through atall. Ordered last week for next day delivery and still havnt even been dispatched. I needed the order for world book day but its tomorrow. They are an absolute joke. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Please see my very long and descriptive google review. The Calhoun, Ga. Store associate was very rude. The manager is absent. Store still has my girlfriends products and her money.$28.33. They refused the refund in less than 45 min with a receipt in the same bag. Unopened. The manager is suppose to get back with us. Very detailed return info left. This is NOT a one and done review! I will repost if they make it right. Ticket# 54539 2/23/23 1:52pm...back in the store around 2:35 pm. Beware of this store. How can Claire's copperate permit such horrible abuse and lack of appreciation for their cutomer base??
