All went well at the Cannock show room car was ready for test drive that went well. Brought the car. Didn't like All the hanging around waiting for final round. Must have sat there for an hour. Then got keys and away we went HAPPY DAYS

Went to the Cannock branch for a test drive yesterday (29/10/2025)Mr. Harry was the sales advisor who attended us. He took my driving licence for photocopying in order to do a test drive. He should have returned my licence after that. But he didn’t and I asked him a couple of times whether he still has my licence; he replied yes,still didn’t return it. We left the premises soon after the test drive. I phoned the branch as soon as I realised he didn’t return the licence.but the person I spoke to couldn’t care less, Mr. Harry said he didn’t have the licence although I didn’t speak to him directly. I requested a call back from him, but never called. I rang them again twice this morning, but Harry isn’t in for the next two days; I have been told to call back on Saturday. I applied for a new licence with DVLA spending £20 as I couldn’t wait and needed to go to other showrooms for test drives. 
Really bad customer service, they didn’t take the matter seriously. I do not know if it’s the company’s policy to retain customers’ driving licence. It could be misused by someone. I really doubt he has misplaced my licence and wanted to cover it up 
Too long time waiting around just for pushy sales people to try and scam you into a warranty thats not worth the paper its written on . We walked in with a car in mind and was left sitting around for 3 and half hours and still not received the keys , to let you all know we were. Paying ifor car outright and not finance . Don't bother with this place people . Overpriced cars , and ridiculously pushy sales

In regards to the first visit it was smooth quiet but I expected it to be for a Friday Night. 
Rayhaan was nice enough until the additional products then he was very pushy to the point I told him I was about to walk out. I don't mind haggling but I don't like being bullied into something. 
My first impressions in the show room was it was well kept, Friday we agree on the costing for my car 11500K and agreed £23397 for the BMW, my finance on my car was to be settled as verbally agreed and Rayhaan Threw in the Gardex & Shine to say that this was indicated to be an added non-cost to me and given as an extra. 
Saturday was much busier and despite booking in for an appointment Saturday at 1400. I was not seen until at least 1430. and then I don't think i was finished until 1600 hours. When we were finally seen we started going through the paperwork I asked about the reimbursement off the difference between my Part ex and the finance, I was informed that the addition of the products was not free and in fact been charged leaving no reimbursable value. To be honest I was not happy about this. I have actually lost sleep and considered returning to undo all of the exchange. I was a cash buyer so I could have paid for the BMW outright and I would have been GBP 1500.00 in credit which would have made the BMW 22600.00 GBP which is 800 quid less than what I paid. 
Honestly I am not happy being that much out of pocket as that is a mortgage payment to me. 
I had to go back in as well after almost driving off, this is where I draw the line I went back in as Rayhaan had pre-agreed to ensure a puncture repair kit was in the boot for me it was not. So I went back to Handouts and there was Lewis who did my car tax and transfer, A lady and Rayhaan's Manager. When I was speaking the Lady was most unwelcoming and looked as thought she despised Rayhaan for agreeing to a Puncture repair kit. When Rayhaan was present his Boss / Manager looked at him and said everything should be ready but the way he handled it could have been done out the sight of the customer. 
As for Lewis he brought my car into trade gave me mine cant really fault him. 
All in all As to the above delayed wait time, lack of transparency being closed off and rude to your employees and leaving me more out of pocket and considering other action I will not visit Big Motor World again to purchase a car. If you are on trust pilot I shall be leaving a copy of this review there also.

The sales guy i delt with HAS was very helpful and professional a delight to deal with , the reception staff are very friendly and polite and the guy that did the paper work at the end and handed me the keys was very professional and helpful as well

Interested to inspect a car, told it would be twenty minutes before anyone would be available to open the BMW I was interested in. I said I would call back in a couple of hours, staff said it would be another half hour before a member of staff was available. Very poor customer experience, I gave up in the end. This is a company that doesn’t even show the prices of the cars one has to use the phone and scan the code of every car to get details. Not the kind of customer experience I could endorse to anyone.

Wasn’t a pushy sales person asked what wanted car for my usage and worked out which would be better for me. Walked out with car same day. Was a bit of waiting around thou was there for about 4hrs did test drive a couple cars

Overall the experience I received from the handover team and the finance team were nothing short of wonderful. 
However, the sales team were relentless in their approach to attempting to sell the added extras, such as warranty and such. After myself and my wife politely declined more than 12 times, being called “odd” and being told by the salesmen that he could see the future which is why we needed to buy an extended warranty he finally got the hint. 
This behaviour was completely rude and inappropriate, if he has not conceded we would have left on the spot after being berated to buy these extras. 
Overall, I’m happy with the car I purchased and the finance and handover team were a delight to deal with. However the whole experience was soured by an overly pushy salesmen.

My experience with Big Motoring World is mixed. Whilst two of the staff Jay and Somera (apologies on spelling) were brilliant, friendly and approachable, our experience with a sales agent was not great.
I went with friends who had already reserved the car, test driven and researched, they were looking to take only HP for a set number of years. The amount of times that the agent continually badgered them for the additional add on items such as ‘Shine’ (paint protection), extended warranty etc was ridiculous. 
When they continually pushed back, he described it as ‘odd’ multiple times, said ‘90% of customers take it’ and queried whether it was a ‘money thing’ as to why they didn’t want it. Whilst my friends tried to stay friendly and positive, they almost walked away from the deal. As an FYI the add-ons in question would have added an additional £6000 to the payments over a 3 year period.
In the end he did apologise and gave them 12 months of Shine for free by adding more value to their trade in to counter the cost, (clearly there is a big incentive for them to add this on no matter the cost).
Whilst they are happy with the car and the deal, the whole situation was soured by his relentless and condescending attitude, please advise your staff that when a customer says no to your add-ons, that should be the end of the matter.
Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. Took time to help us with our purchase and kept us informed along the way. 
Lovely bright, airy, clean , warm showroom.

Cannock depot Offered me a 3 warranty package for 599.00 on the car i wantes to buy which was great happy to take it, then relised i was buying the car for cash and sales managet told me the warranty is now over £1,500 becuse i did not take the car on finanace, then on handover a week later, I had to wait long periods of times to see different people in different depts, at final stage handover i was keeping my private plate off the my trade in they asked me for 250.00 deposit because i was keepimg my number plate. This was never mentioned on any sales order or purchase documnets of the new car when they were aware i was keeping my private plate.
